| While this probably won't mean THAT much, didn't the Sega Saturn use .bin files for emulation of its CDs? I know Sonic 3D Blast didn't just have a Genesis version. It could be that you found the Saturn version of the ROM and whoever was hosting it had the two confused.
Of course, if the .bin works in a Genesis emulator, it could be a sega CD file, as well... The point would be that it's not the Genesis ROM. Sonic 3D Blast had more ports than a Madden game. (edited by Grey on 07-16-06 10:39 AM) |

| Well, there is no random chance. Mostly it's more like "If it sounds like it'd be cool enough for it to work, it works". And you're the one who decides if you get hit or not. It's considered bad form to dodge everything, and it's considered godmoding for you to assume everything hits.
Like I said, it's not so much a game as it is a performance. You go with what you think your "audience" would think is coolest. If that involves getting hit, so be it. |

| There was a wave of green light, and Grey dispersed all of his psionic power. He and Jack stood there in a rather amusing pose that bordered on an embrace.
Grey: "Well, okay then." Grey released Jack as if nothing had happened, and snapped his fingers. "PK Healing Omega!!!" A wave of green light washed over Jack, and in seconds he was completely healed. There wasn't a scratch on him, and everything, right down to the last completely regenerated feather, had been perfectly placed. Grey grinned at his work of art, and donned an exp "Big leaguers don't need to perform all of the time." --------------- Sig: "Not at all..." He watched Jolene address the others in her usual businesslike fashion... She was pretty nice, he had to admit. Tough, too. Just like the girls back home. But he wasn't about to waste this chance at the big time. If that challenger wanted to bring him down, he'd be in for the beating of his life. There was just one thing that could defeat a Monstro Town koopa! Well, that was a bald-faced lie. Sig knew that. But his opponent didn't. Sig waited in the locker room for those nice guys at security to attempt to drag him kicking and screaming into the arena, like they usually did. This time, he'd go willingly. | Johnathan continued along, far ahead of the rest of the group, almost as if he were scouting. He approached a stream, and noted the purplish water... It was diluted by something. He scooped up a handful of the water, and eyed it carefully. Yes...
A much larger portion of the water floated in the air before him, a violet bubble of contaminated dihydrogen monoxide. He reached out and touched the ball of water, separating the liquid from its contaminants. What remained in his hand was a deep red powder, thick with the smell of blood and suffering. He drew a vial from his long, protective coat, and began capping the powder inside the vial. A concentrated form of this chemical would be an interesting specimen to study. Once he had retrieved enough to satisfy his curiousity, Johnathan rose to his feet and pressed on. Soon, he thought, he would reach the source of this flowing water. Then he would get to the bottom of this mystery, and finally acquire a gohma tail, at long last. |

Sig plodded beside the clacking of Jolene's high-heels, as she scribbled nonchalantly on a clipboard and led him to the doors of the fighting arena. "Now, you're to wait here until Troy is prepared to fight. It should take very little time, but he will need to make some special preparations for Grubba's handicap." Sig raised a shade rim. Sig: "Handicap? You're gonna be handicappin' 'im?" Jolene: "Not so much him as you..." She turned and walked briskly away from Sig, who stood unable to respond. The bell was about to ring.

Johnathan said little, taking handfuls of grass by the root and eyeing them closely as he walked. The base of one particularly thick blade stuck out to him, and he looked it over carefully. He noted that, in spite of the contaminated water, the plant life in this bowl seemed to be flourishing. Perhaps only non-plant lifeforms were adversely affected by the water?

But there was fungi here and there on the trees... So mayhaps it was only animals. He couldn't help but notice there had been none to waylay him in his journey. There was a small knob on Johnathan's spectacles, easily mistaken for a screw or an adornment to the unscrutinizing eye. Johnathan reached to his glasses to press it, and the lenses in them shifted slightly to magnify his view of the grass root. It was covered in the same powder as was distilled from the water. Johnathan figured this was a natural rejection of the distillate until he observed the traces of dirt on the roots. They had been integrated together, like some kind of powerful fertilizer. One that was hazardous to humans. Could this be the reason for the rare and exotic plant life here?

He stared at the stone around Rawk Hawk's waist, and then drew his own stone from within his vest pocket. Was it really a fake? "You mean to say that all of this time we've wasted, all of this fighting we've done, and all of this crap we've had to sift through was all just to VERIFY that the gem MIGHT POSSIBLY be real?" Grey stomped his foot on the ground and extended his hand. There was a glitter of light as his bat appeared in it, clearly ready to be swung. "I demand an explanation for this skullduggery!"

Grey had been watching the fight from the doors to the arena, and prepared to congratulate Kirby as he re-entered the locker room. He cuffed Kirby on the back as he exited the locker room to go take a bit of a walk, and passed by Sig on the way out. He was still waiting for his opponent... "Oi, Sig, what's up?" Sig snarled at Grey, getting more and more impatient by the second. Sig: "I got a battle ta fight! Some kinda special match aginst 'dis new guy named "Da Blazin' Dynamo"'re some junk like 'dat. Doenn't matta', I'll kick 'is butt up 'n' down da street!" He heard the bell ring, signifying that the fight was about to begin, and stormed into the arena to a hail of cheers and eager eyes. Cameras flashed at him from all directions, indicating that he had finally reached that rising star status. Would today continue the story, or would he fall to his mysterious new foe? That was the purpose of the battle. Sig stepped into the arena, and awaited Grubba's uproarious hailing. He shuffled around a bit in his shell, cracking his knuckles and shaking out his limbs. Those three fights had been nothing at all, but it would be nice to see a real challenge for once. If this guy had blasted through the Glitz Pit as fast as he had, soloified, then this was sure to be one heck of a fight. --------------- Grey put his hands behind his head and relaxed a bit as he walked through the Glitz Pit's main building, deciding to take a quick tour of things now that the rest of the squad seemed intent on raising Yami and fighting in the battles. If anything, he'd return to that juice bar and try to talk up that cute toad gi--- ......My god, he thought, what am I thinking? But it was, of course, too late. He was back at the juice bar, finding himself staring down another menu of exotic liquids.
