The connection I was refering to surrounds a person, not a parody.
Rockman was going to be called Rainbow man by the way. |

They put Solid Snake in there because Hideo Kojima begged them to. And King De De De may be the most hopeful. As Geno and Mega Man are owned by Square-Enix and Capcom respectively.

If you read the credits of Super Star Saga, you'll notice that there is a copyright notice saying Geno is owned by SquareEnix.

I've been reading a lot about The PlayStation 3 and I have some questions about it.
1. I've read that the analogue sensitivity has been increased from 8-bit to 10-bit. But is that per axis, per stick or per controller, and will this cause conflict with PS1 and PS2? 2. Will I be able to share files directly between my PC and the PS3? (Via LAN-cable, Ethernet, USB device?) 3. As LINEX is pre-installed, what's the reasonable time-frame before seeing something like a PS3 specific version of VLC media player? 4. What's the reasonablility of a Windows emulator/run time eviroment that will allow me to use Windows specific software effortlessly being made? 5. Despite reasons that make it seem unintelligible, will there still be mod kits? 6. Will looking into a Blu-ray laser still be a bad idea? 7. What will be the easiest way to transfer my PS2 memory card data to the PS3? 8. Just what is a Floating Point operation? (edited by Ten on 06-26-06 04:43 PM) |

Well this article leans towards comfirmation, presuming Phil Harrison knows what PCs are used for.
I decided to use a screenshot (4bpp 10KB gif hosted on photoalbum) to prevent confusion in the event the article was suddenly edited left or right. And I did try to be considerate by using my favorites menu crunch the text to prevent this thread from getting the dreaded horizontal scrollbar. |

Where can I find I a program that will allow me to convert MKVs into AVIs with my choice of audio and sub-title tracks? Every now and then I get an MKV that needs so much processing power to decode the video can't render even at point thirdteen speed..

The PS3 has over a hundred games being produced. What part of that equals lack of 3rd party "tittles"?
It's not smart to base blu-ray usefulness off the proformence of a first-generation blu-ray players. Remember first-generation DVD players? Much more pricy (and slower) then current generation DVD players. And chances are that most new PS3 games are going DVDs, not blu-rays. For the same reason some PS2 games are CDs instead of DVDs. The Blu-ray outranks the DVD in storage capacity. A four layer Blu-ray can be up to 100GB. But how many games are going to be bigger then the 15GB DVD limit anyway? The Blu-ray disc also has the protective coating known as Durabis. A type of polymer that's been claimed to successfully resist damaged caused by wire-wool and screwdrivers. This and along with the PS3 use of Blu-ray technology may secure it's victory over HD-DVD in the format war. And where did you hear that the PS3 won't play Blu-ray movies? The only concern I have over Blu-ray is that it's only suppose to be a few years before formats that use holographic (3D-storage) memory arise. All current formats only use photographic (2D-storage) memory. ... Heh, heh, tittles...
