1) Did you make sure to start a new game before testing the pipe?

2) If all else fails, delete the pipe and make a new one. Some times LM skrews up and exits have to be re-made in order to work...

But... does it have to be metroid 1? Metroid 3 would be better... (Better sprites, power-ups, ect.)

Also, Wouldn't everyone have to be the samus sprite of a color they wish? I mean, If you played the game as a different character, you'd have many advantages...


And how about an arena?
A level-up system?

It could become a good MMORPG...

Why would you have to leave your boss place? Its an RPG, Youd be some mindless sprite on screen during a battle too hard for anyone who hasn't put forth effort for training. I don't see why you'd have to give up being a boss because of your own project...

I mean, I'm still working on my RPG, as well as one an entire forum wants me to make, And I'm still a boss... well, I may still be a boss if Riku wants me to be one...

...Keep the 'death' pallete (dry bones), but change everything else. I'm not sure what the hell happened to everything else, but in the SMW hacking community,

1337 = Kick ass gfx, asm, OW and pallettes
Kick ass = Kick ass gfx, OW and pallettes
Cool = Good gfx, OW and pallettes
Nice = OK gfx, OW and palletes
OK = OK gfx and pallettes
Bad = Overused/bad gfx and OK palletes
Gouge-eyes-out-able = Legoman

...

The way this looks, your between bad and Legoman.
Do what you can to fix up your pallettes and GFX.

DO NOT DROP DOWN TO LEGOMAN'S LEVEL!!

Heres a few notes you should know when making group smw hacks:

1. Be sure that custom blocks are used scarcely. If the case is they are used all the time, you will have to go through levels over and over to make sure they are all the correct custom block and... no one wants to do that.

2. Its best to use levels from peoples old hacks with thier premission in your group hack. Asking people for new levels is a bit demanding.

3. Make sure you put a message-box at the begining of the level to point out who made it and what hack it was from (if it was used before)

4. If you want a good OW, ask me, BMF or Forte.exe ... (and any other people who make OW's look like they were hand crafted from diamonds)


...so, yah. Good luck. You can use a few levels from my hack if you want... I don't mind, most of those levels were garbled up anyway... but some were quite nice.

If by chance you DO do a retro world, fuse multiple stages from one game into one level.

x-1: smb levels
x-2: smb2 levels
x-3: smb3 levels
x-4: smb: LL levels
x-5: smw levels
x-6: YI levels
Castle: A fusion of one of each castle from each other game

...now that would be better. (and challenging)

I think you sould fix marios walking animation. He looks like He's going to do something spiffy off of rotmk4, but obviosly isn't. Any chance you can fix it up so his body faces to the right/left and not you?
