Schwa rubs his eyes. What the hell happened? "Durr, uh, eheheh... Whatever it is that you did, it was... like, really really cool, but something tells me I'll never know exactly what made me decide to say that. Have you ever had that feeling, Krishen?" Schwa stretches as Krishen cracks his neck those few times. He's still weirded out. "...Don't... go easy on me... even though I'm obviously rusty... Here, YOU get first strike. I need time to train myself to your style." Then it dawns on him. "Sensae!! It's training for the future! God, I love the way you do that." UMana ll.......... 2/12 |

| Schwa notices something interesting... His right arm is changing color and texture. Soon it's a soft lilac purple, and feels like plant matter. He forgets about his possible counter and thinks of a new tactic.
"The Satelite Beam! Ha HA, he sealed his fate by making a nature-rich atmosphere for my Ma Pingon side to feed on. Now we get dirty! Muhuhuhuhahahaha..." Schwa begins charging energy again, this time with purple ether, as Forte and the Elemental duke it out. Forte's attack is fast, and though the Elemental is very good at dodging, it can't seem to track the attack well enough and takes a perfect hit on the base, going great, solid damage. One or two more of those should finish it. Before the Elemental can react, Forte is hiding again. But the Elemental has tactics of his own. He begins spinning much faster next to the overgrowth, and a huge wind picks up. The heads of a rare flowery bush are easily swept off their plants, and are captured inside the wind funnel, spinning like crazy within the Elemental's transparent body. These flower heads look and act exactly like green spiked spheres, some of which have a slowing poison inside. Should the Elemental consider launching these, Forte may need a new tactic of his own! For now, it waits for him to come back out... relentlessly... UMana lllllll..... 7/12 |

| "....Uh-oh...."
As the boy looks up to see two glowing eyes before him floating in the void of shadow, he knows in the back of his mind that instances like these aren't usually good signs. He thinks of revealing his trusty true weapon, the Runed Katana, which he KNOWS he'll need at some point in the very near future, but as he thinks it over in a few instant moments he decides on "dragon over tiger", a.k.a. concealing his power. No, it would be much more beneficial to play it cool. "Sorry to intrude, but the Psi Warriors have been here recently. There was a battle. I came following the energy signature, for I seem to be drawn to the Psi Warriors. You know of them, don't you?" He decides that, after an intro like that, things may not even be nearly as dreadful as he thought they were about to get. But in these scenarios, prediction of future events is, safe to say, near impossible. |

| "No. But... it is probably safe to say that there's not a single living being who knows what a soul truly is. That's why I'm a PSI Scientist-- I study Spiritual Physics and the like to get a better grasp on those mysteries."
Zin brandishes his now fully recharged whip, and charges it secretly with a special combination of Shen's soul molecules and Ether molecules. He spins it a few times, then suddenly lashes out at the Anima Orb, attempting to crack it once. This maneuver will not destroy it, nor will it short out the Whip this time, but the energy Zin charged his Whip with will become embedded in the Orb for Zin to then prove his full point to Shen. "Nobody can exactly copy souls with magic OR Psi. You need the power of the Divine to do that, and that's if they're willing to lend you that power. I'm not interested in engineering souls-- mostly just that which will aid my Psi Warrior bretheren, which is what I'm about to show you." OOC: Congratulations on getting your new layout to work. | As the ground begins to warp, the Elemental begins to waver oddly as if caffinated or something. Milliseconds before the ground bursts, it glides in a semicircle out of the way, getting behind Forte at the same time. It WAS nicked by the attack, though, taking more damage. As soon as it finishes its' dodge, before Forte can hide again, the Elemental releases a concentrated thunderbolt into Forte, then flings the spiked flower bulbs over him in a wide, 2-second flurry. Some, but not all, of the thrown flowers are poisonous, the poison having a severe slowing effect that gradually weakens. Getting hit by one would just be bad luck, for the flowers themselves aren't especially powerful (although it IS a flurry attack).
Schwa continues his charge, hoping to make it to 2 turns unnoticed. Hiding in the other side of the overgrowth, he seems to be doing a pretty good job, but he figures it's likely that he'll lose his Air Elemental at this rate... just in time for his Ultimate. He looks at his Elemental's condition from his hiding place; it's shorting with sparks of electricity due to it's damage. Sad, but necessary. UMana llllllll.... 8/12 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "I wonder what Schwa is doing right about now?" Such a sunny day is perfect for someone like Allaura and a friend of hers, Slate (another Psi Warrior with a darker side than most stereotypical Psi Warriors), to lay in sunchairs on the Upper Balcony of Crystal Psipalace, sipping lemonade and limeade respectively. A light breeze blows over them, ruffling their clothes. It doesn't feel weird to them, even though they're so high up in the sky that the ground is concealed by clouds. "Schwa? ...Ah yes. Hmhmhm... I remember when we fought that Underground Weed Virus as a team. His timing was horrible on our team attacks." "Yes, but you're very, very skilled and you've been doing the Psi Warrior thing longer. You can't hold everyone to your expectations, you know." "True, I suppose. Besides, after the 3rd try he got it right, and that time it was so good it impressed even me." "Slate?" "Speak." "You talk about battle even more than Schwa. Is there anything else that interests you?" "Let me think on that one for a while. It is a reasonable question, it deserves some thought." | "That was well put. Wait-- WHAT!!? ...Awkay fine, skip to the fighting."
Schwa prepares for the attack, tensing up as he feels a slight change in the mana flow in the air... "Dammit! He's doing it again, and all I can do is bite the hook. Wait, I do have Soul Search, but something says I should wait to use that." As the fist, or at least what appears to be the fist (if it even IS an illusion in the first place, gaiaiaiaiah  ), comes forward, Schwa snaps out of meditation and crouches almost instantly to his right at an angle, Fire Emblem Archer style. Following that (risky, maybe) maneuver, he springs upwards and backwards at the same time, hands exploding with blue etheral energy, and in midair, with the help of some well-placed Psi, he changes direction from backwards to a forward divebomb as he attempts to wrack Krishen square in the head with two ether-coated, outstretched fists from above. Should this hit, Schwa would do a kick off the torso and backflip to land on his feet, facing his foe. Should this miss, Schwa would turn it into a handstand followed by a frontflip, land on his feet, then whirl around to face his foe, unless stopped of course by another attack.
"Diamond? That would hurt. It's stylish, too. Hey, you ain't bad. (Gah, is it even the real thing?!? I'm gonna need a Soul Search pretty soon if that was an illusion...)" Schwa hopes to the Gods that this was the real thing, so he doesn't look like a complete idiot (like he has already) while appearing to be fancy at the same time. Then he'd be a walking oxymoron, and once again a target for Krishen's amazing display of philosophy, which he really does NOT want to happen again.

| Something tells the boy this is a VERY sensitive subject, but he plays the dare...
"Not... related, at least, but... I'm definitely here because of their presence, if that means anything... Hey, don't get the wrong idea. I just follow them. I've never even met a Psi Warrior before, to be completely honest." There is a pause, then the boy gets an idea. He walks to the side and, in a casual manner, leans against part of a ruined stone wall. "You know your time is limited, I bet. The Psi Warriors don't care about the emotions of those who delve into the dark-- they simply slay those people without mercy. In a sense that would kinda make them the bad guys, at least to the type of people I mentioned. ...They're targeting you, aren't they? We can talk about something else if it's unpleasant to think of." He climbs onto the top of the piece of wall, sitting there. He's now staring down at Jack. "What's your name? I call myself Diaxos, because nobody was super handy to give me a name when I appeared." His last sentence was "cryptic but friendly in nature", to be accurate. To trust or not to trust? He sure seems to know a lot about the Psi Warriors, for one... |

| "Not so fast! Zin's Big Bang!" (echo effects)
And the emulation of her Tech is complete! Before the non-native energy manages to be expelled from the Anima Orb, upon usage of Zin's Big Bang, the Orb explodes in Shen's direction, in a nearly inevitable method of enveloping her much like Shen's origional Tech had done to Zin. The only difference here is that the damage, while not necessarily the force, would be absolutely incredible if it hit for it's full amount, and would likely ground Shen, the target, after (at least lightly) throwing her. On a side note, the Tech was re-engineered to do the extra damage. It is nothing that Shen could've avoided, short of not giving Zin the window to Appraisal her Big Bang attack. "Let me think... Origin? I've met HIM, but I don't believe he's ever met ME. I saw him flying over our expedition troop once, in the direction of our destination... We ran into a sticky situation at the destination, then something he passively did impacted that situation for the better, and we made it out alive thanks to him. I have the deepest respect for Origin. Why do you ask?" Zin makes another attempt at mind-reading, JUST to get her name, and the feeling should be almost, if not completely, unnoticable. The real question is whether or not Shen's distorted aura is still passively up. |

| OOC: Poor Dynamo...
Forte's apparently wide-ranged dark-energy dagger toss can't be dodged by the Air Elemental quite in time, either. The attack brings it to a VERY low stamina (think like 3/435 HP in a typical RPG, or to be creative, 15 HP on a high-level Rockman.EXE), and as it stands practically exploding with electricity on it's own, it unexpectedly launches another thunderbolt at Forte (almost in spite, even) before it begins to die automatically in a self-defense instinct. At that moment, as the conflaring Elemental dissapitates in a lightshow of it's own, Schwa leaps out of concealment, with two turns of charged energy at his disposal, and lets Forte have it with, say... Ultimate Attack? "Egyptian nothin'! Satelite Union, AWAY!!" (epic blast) Schwa finishes his leap as he comes down, slamming his ether-coated purple hand into the ground. Instantly there is a ripple of invisible, heavily warped Nature energy detectable by both Schwa and (probably) Forte. At the time when the ripple reaches the outer perimeter of the garden, four portals open on the four corners of the garden, and out of them rise into the air each a massive, rainbow-glittering crystal ball of needles. The portals close immediately after releasing these four wonders, as they rise almost a hundred feet into the air. Then they begin to glow each with a light as bright as the sun, and finally, they let Forte have it with an almost instantaneously-striking quadruple solar beam, one huge sunbeam fired from each crystal, in a style similar to Django's "coffin-with-sunlight" special attack from MMBN5 (without the spinning). The beams even change their direction with his movements, determined to envelop him with all four for the whole 15 second duration of the attack. Getting caught completely unprotected in the beams drains HP at an EXCEEDINGLY rapid rate, making this attack a potentially lethal situation. (The best defense against this, noted by Schwa, is a barrier of some kind. Dodging for the whole 15 seconds is absurd.) After the 15 seconds, the four crystals crumble to dust and exit the Material Plane via invisible portal. "So... Have I gotten stronger or what?" Schwa says after the attack, ONLY if it did plenty of damage. Otherwise he's speechless. UMana lllllllll... 9/12 |

He switches his train of thought at the arrival of Dynamo. "Hey, that guy's a mercenary," Schwa switches the subject. "You! ...Dynamo, is it? How'd your latest bounty go? Mercs and bounty hunters have always been respected by this Schwa, you see. Care to have a seat? Food's on it's way, and I'm not sharing, so be sure to order your own." Schwa turns back to the female-looking Forte. "What? We needed a moderator so you'd quit doing THAT. Yeah, you know, the finger thing, don't play dumb." |

Zin stares into her eyes, almost hypnotized, but he quickly snaps out of it and focuses. This battle was beginning to be a battle of the mind and soul, rather than a battle of power and harm. Zin often tried not to drag others into these kinds of fights unless it was a mission, but when OTHERS drag HIM into these situations, some distant how, it always left him with a feeling of uncertainty... "I can sense that this is not a trap... rather merely a very, very twisted, important descision I have to make. Blast it all." There's another pause in his speaking. "You..." He managed to get her name. "Shen! Your name is Shen. You... are... unbelievably gifted in spiritual wisdom and lore. I admire you for that. I'll take your challenge, on the condition that I get time to prepare... and may Sensae damn my soul if I even think about tricking you, I promise." OOC: Dracoon, YOU... I knew you'd do this! You're forcing me to admit that I CAN'T be rusty for these next replies! GOD, you're one clever bastard! |

| OOC: You definitely know basic Psi Warrior Lore, I'll give you that much. God, you're a good writer.
Schwa listens to Forte's shpiel about Chaos. Though he already knows everything there is to know on the subject, he can't help the adrenaline rush that slowly builds as Forte nears the climax of his destructive tale... and as he pulls the triggers... "Hey, WAIT a sec!" Schwa thinks in sync with the triggers pulling... as he comes out of a half-meditation... Obviously he's coming up against a mighty attack, but something's STILL seriously, seriously wrong. Why did he detect what he thought he did? There can only be one answer to that, and these kinds of answers are the kind that can eat away at Schwa for his whole, entire life. The Nega Explosion approaches, and Schwa coats his whole body with rainbow ether as he dives right into the blast! He's aiming for one target and one alone... Schwa nearly cries out in pain, but the pain lasts split-seconds compared to eternity. Schwa almost breaks the sound barrier as he pierces through the blast, taking heavy damage but not noticing or caring, and divebombs Forte from the heavens with a mighty meteor tackle and outstretched, rainbow ether-coated fists. The attack has enough power to crush half of an armored car. "HIYAAAAAH!!" Hopefully knocking him down, Schwa whips off his blindfold after hitting or missing, and stares into Forte's eyes with his own pair, which gleam with anger. "You... held... back. You BROKE our promise. You pulled the fucking trigger only halfway. What gives, you SHIT?" Schwa's chest heaves as he tries to contain the anger, but it's not working. His ether dissipitates and is replaced by REAL fireballs that coat his hands, a major sign of awakened anger. "Pull it all the way. You promised. Do it NOW, you bastard." UMana llllllllll.. 10/12 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "Okay." "Slate?" "I have an answer to your question." "Is that so? Well, I'd be delighted to hear it!" "...After thinking of everything I've ever done in my life, I've decided that I enjoy absolutely nothing more than ripping into the flesh of the most evil demon thinkable with Alpha Psibeam and hearing it scream as it dies in anguish." "....Oh..." "Now, Miss Allaura, allow me to ask you a question of my own. ...I want to know, do you think of me as a monster now?" "No. Killing demons is what we do... and it... definitely fits your personality." "I knew you'd say that, and I didn't have to read your mind to know it. Thank you." "...." Silence reigns for the next hour or so as Allaura and Slate the Psi Warriors bask in the sunlight upon their crystal balcony, which is certainly a different scene than Schwa's little predicament. |

| At first, Diaxos' face is that of uncertainty, but he quickly obtains a smooth smirk right before his reply:
"No offense? I don't really think that you could. I know it's not exactly cool to judge on appearances, but yours tell me you... *hand motion* PROBABLY wouldn't get along much with, let alone last long against, these masters of the ether. That's my hunch." Diaxos climbs to the highest pillar on the wall, which isn't much higher than the wall itself, and stands his full height atop the mini pillar, in a stance that looks KINDA like he's praying, but not quite. "Still," he continues, a little quietly this time, "...Will I be destined to follow their shadows forever... or will I actually meet the ones who I unknowingly seek?" He undergoes a form of silent meditation, but Jack is still perfectly able to add some form of two cents. |

Schwa stares at the dish known worldwide as Crecent Owl; it's meatloaf lightly coated in sauce made of a blend of Pineapple, Wackyfruit and Gyroglobe Tomate, served with mashed Geckovashi Turnip infused with a drop of Holy water and a touch of Chozo Millenium Spice. It is one of the most simple-to-make famous delicasies in the world. Schwa takes his first bite, then remembers to remove his blindfold at the table. Doing so reveals his happy-eyes from the 00ber good texture and taste of the food. |

| One of Diaxos' eyes snaps open.
"Disaster? ...I hope you weren't thinking what I thought you were thinking about thinking. If you were, let me threaten you with one word. ...Chaosmusket." But the whole time, he can't restrain a determined smile caused by both curiosity and adrenaline. "It ain't bad!" he thinks. "Should we battle, they'll come investigating a supposed Good/Evil clash! Of course I'm more of a neutral, but if I'm in combat against what they CONSIDER Evil, that would make them condider me a Good. But this Jack... He needs to initiate the combat. Otherwise I'd never forgive myself." In seconds he goes over his plan several more times, the whole time barely able to restrain the glee... "I'm going to meet a Psi Warrior! I'm going to meet a Psi Warrior!" By now, poor Diaxos has lost grip at the immense danger he's possibly in right now. |

"Appraisal." (echo effects) Zin's blind eye disappears into the void known as the Spiritual Plane as it begins taking in Shen's Enlightenment Data... WHOOOOOOOSH!! "ZIN!" "That voice... Who, what are you!?" The voice Zin heard sounded female, but in reality it wasn't... It was beyond gender. It was... "You." "Me!? ...Shen, this was a trap!?" Suddenly, the darkness surrounding Zin explodes with the purest ruby-colored light anyone could think to imagine existed, let alone Zin. The light is Zin. "Wha--! What is... the meaning of this?" "Zin, don't you see? It's me! ...YOU! Relax and talk to yourself for a while." "But how? ...You fail to make any sense! You cannot possibly exist within the boundaries of material reason!" "That is a good first step. Can you figure the rest out?" "Oh, a mind game. ...SENSAE, HELP!" "I AM Sensae, you foolish whelp." Zin gasps. That was Sensae's voice this time. Then it says, "You would do well to remember the focus of your mission." Zin gasps again. "That... is EXACTLY what Sensae said to me once. Both lines, as a matter of fact!" The female voice speaks again. "Yes. Do you want to know who else I am?" - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - On the outside, Zin is kneeling and trembling in front of Shen. He can only take 2 more turns of this wracking meditation before he is automatically snapped out... and Shen may even be fully aware of what's going on within Zin's mind, heart and soul. It depends, really. |

| Diaxos' smile drops. "Oh... you were thinking BIG. My mistake..." *slight whimper*
There's a moment's pause, then, "Well, as long as we're on the subject, let me suggest Quickfire. It spreads through thin air and takes only the most advanced magic-based Dispel ability to clear it out. ...At least, that's what the books say... and, we don't... have any Quickfire..." Diaxos leaps off the pedestal, and slumps into a sitting position on the ground against it. "How'd I end up brainstorming disasters with this crazy goth, anyway?" he briefly contemplates. OOC: I have it. For the battle to start, all Jack needs to do is decide on the disaster.  |

| Schwa barely twitches as his non-ether coated arm swipes down, stopping his kick, then he holds his palms out DBZ style, releasing a massive storm of searing flames out of them. It's enough to engulf Forte and much of the overgrowth, though the attack strength of the flame is just above-average, not Heavy.
After the flames clear, half the garden has been relieved of it's rare, beautiful flowers, and is wide open for dueling. One must beware of the floating embers, though. At least Schwa isn't as angry as he just was, though... "Okay... Okay... I needed to let it out. ...Sorry." His ether returns as he speaks. "I didn't process... that you just might've been cautious rather than a jerk. It was a good call, but in any other circumstance I definitely wouldn't have endured an attack like THAT on purpose... Dang." He sighs, breathing in the air. "Let's continue this spar the good ol' honorable way." On cue, "Emotional Rockets!" (echo effects) He makes a Z-swing hand motion, scattering ether in the air. It swirls apart then together again, forming 3 colored energy cones coated in ether, floating next to Schwa's right shoulder. One is blue, one is red, and one is yellow. They represent not only the Assets themselves, but also the three Primary Emotions, joy, anger and sorrow. Schwa's always been proud of this move, but he must wait for a moment before firing the attacks... UMana lllllllllll. 11/12 |

| This means that Schwa never got to give his compliment and monolouge, sadly.
"...Why did you grab-- Waaaaugh! NOT cool!" Schwa is flung. Then he is scared shitless by the Annoying Brick Wall of Death. "HELL! That ain't FAIR! Ether, don't fail me..." Schwa brings his ether to bear just before the KTHWACK, the smeeeeear and the plop respectively. It worked; damage was reduced. But not the damage to his PRIDE! "Ohhhhh... FINE, so I should've taken the diamond fist to open different windows. Fair enough. Now we play ol' fashioned. Here is, the Alpha Psibeam!" (echo effects) Schwa draws his trademark silver energy arc, thrusts the hand, and lets 'er fly. This time the arc flies up and way over Krishen's shiny head, as it was "told" to this one time, curves around and should hit Krishen (should he let it) at the end of his next move. Meanwhile, Schwa readies balls of ether to coat his hands and begins a hearty yet ninjalike dash towards Krishen. Schwa should hit the 10-foot mark as the Psibeam hits the connect mark. And Schwa still hasn't forgot about possible illusions... It's a lot to keep track of, but not impossible. UMana llll........ 4/12 |
