Dracoon: "Well if you're so nice to offer, I can't really refuse."

Dracoon just ignored Sukasa's comment about the tournament, Alizabe dreaded the comment, knowing that Sukasa had a very good point. Alizabe had almost died, how was she going to compete against people who had more time to work on their weapons?

Alizabe: "T-Thanks..."

Alizabe managed to get the words out with a great deal of effort, her body trying to refuse her even the basic function of talking.

Dracoon: "Don't try and speak, you're way to drained. I'm surprised you're still awake honestly!"

Dracoon looked at Sukasa.

Dracoon: "I'm not happy asking this, but on the first day I'm going to need you to take care of her... I used up quite a bit of energy myself and need to drop into the summon's world for a little while. Just for a few hours hopefully."

Dracoon: "Just the obvious things, get her some water and a wash cloth soaked in warm water. She should fall asleep soon, when she wakes up she should at least be able to talk."

Alizabe was already starting to fall asleep after being laid on the couch, this was paradise compared to fearing that Sukasa was going to drop her. Dracoon floated right in front of her face and she gave a weak smile as he disappeared in a puff of white smoke.

In the summon's world, Dracoon had reverted to his normal shape. That of a large dracoon with rather long fur. A gash in Dracoon's side slowly bled as Dracoon laid on the ground and rested.

Dracoon: (That dragon was close to rank 80, the labrynth has much stronger enemies deeper down... I was careless, thinking it'd only be a lesser dragon... Hopefully the dragon claw will prove useful to Alizabe, if she can master it.)

OOC: Extremely dead. I mean like, ripped to shreds if you saw the carnage you'd be haunted by nightmares for the rest of your life... or something.

Alizabe struggled as she reached for the cup and drank the cold water, just managing to put the cup back before practically falling unconcious.

Dracoon could feel his master/pupil dropping off into sleep from his own resting place. He had taken the time to make sure there was still a link between them, knowing that if something went wrong he could always uh... breath nasty flames at whoever was doing it?

Dr_Death, the problem with holding information from us, is that there are so many new stations world wide that they would go bat-shit insane to figure out a news story that would piss people off in America. Nothing big is being kept from us, especially with the soldiers constantly writing home.

If we're doing something that makes a difference, we know about it. Holding information from a society like ours is just a tiresome pain in the ass that will never work. (On large scale of course, if you go and secretly assassinate someone...)

With very few restrictions on internet, I'm prett confident that we aren't getting a filtered report.

OoC: I had to let a few ideas... mature in my mind, Ark is still a very new character to fight with for me.

The bullet went straight through the crystal shield and apparently through Ark and out the side of the shield, leaving the mass of crystal to simply start shattering. Ark had a very surprised look on his face as he touched the bullet hole through his chest. It seemed to have pierced his long as he made gasping noises. He fell to his knees as the crystals kept shattering, going inward towards him. The remainder of the crystal shield suddenly shattered all at once... and so did Ark!?

Ark: "Super human speed is nice, but it's still limited to just being human."

The shattered remnants of the crystals rocketed into the air, far out of sight, Ark's voice seemed to echo all around the arena.

Ark: "I think it's about time you learned about superior beings though. I'm confident I can beat you without my spear or my hands."

Energy gathered in the arena, floating about loosely.

Ark: "Mysticism Lock: Stage 2. Dispel All!!" (Hollow Effect)

The energy suddenly grew exponentially and then vanished, taking away all buffs from either players, reseting the field completely back to normal. Ark seemingly appeared on the far side of the stadium.

Ark: "The power of my crystals is to bend light and create illusions, as well as have sharp pointy projectiles. In a few moments I'll isolate this arena from everything, then I'll dispel the effects inside the arena again if you wasted time trying to enhance yourself."

Ark jumped from the arena and rushed at the now normal Forte, closing into close range, preparing for more of a brawl than a fight.

Ark: "Predictable."

Ark stopped right out of range of Forte's fist and brought his foot to contact with Forte's head. Continueing with the momentum, Ark flipped off of Forte and as he did his flip, a circle of crystal fragments flew from the ground with him. The crystals weren't very big, in fact they were more like short needles, not anything truely dangerous. They were as sharp as diamonds though, so being hit by them would still hurt like hell.

Ark: "I believe I said I could beat you without my hands..."

Ark stood right outside of Forte's reach, not really looking that closely at Forte.

"The guy did nothing great, but he didn't really do anything bad either."

He appointed incompetant people to fill positions. His entire administration has been fear mongering, he has been trying to scare the sense out of the American people. (Or at least, he did it, intentional or not.)

I think this qualifies as a bad president.

What did Clinton do? Well, during his presidency the debt was getting paid back and we had a pretty low unemployment rate, compared to today at least. Things were running smoother during his presidency. I doubt it was his direct influence, but the fact is that it was better when he was around.

By the way, you're pissed at him for getting a blow job? A lot of poloticians and people do that. That doesn't make someone a good person or a bad person, it just makes them horny.

He didn't technically lie either, he didn't have sex with that woman.

I love how you can be hypocritical. I'm not allowed to question Bush or people I consider foolish, but you can go and question Clinton. Hey, Clinton probably had a better education than you, so who are you to tell him he's wrong!

Difference between Clinton and Bush, Bush got caught. Remember Katrina? You think his cabnit is full of people that know what they're doing?

Do you honestly think someone that can manage to shoot someone else in the face while hunting at a place that practically gives the bird to you is fit for his job?

And about ||bass's link. It seems his source may very well be incorrect.

Bin Laden & Sudan

Commencing in 1996, Ijaz had a series of meetings with Sudan's president, Lt. Gen. Omar Hassan Bashir and the Islamic leader, Hassan Turabi and with Clinton administration officials including Sandy Berger. Both the United Nations and the U.S. Congress had imposed sanctions against the Sudanese government over the continued operation of terrorist groups on it soil. In February 1996 the U.S. government ordered the withdrawal of all its Embassy staff based on concerns about their security. (There were differences of opinion on how real the security threat was). [17] (http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn?pagename=article&contentId=A61251-2001Oct2)

Ijaz argued the U.S. should adopt a policy of "constructive engagement" [18] (http://www.fas.org/irp/congress/1997_hr/h970610i.htm) with Sudan and, in return for providing intelligence data on the terrorist groups and deporting Osama bin Laden to Saudi Arabia, ease the sanctions. Saudi Arabia refused to accept bin Laden. The U.S. government believed there were no legal grounds under which he could be indicted in U.S. courts at the time. On May 18 1996, under pressure from the U.S. government, the government of Sudan deported bin Laden. He then made his way to Afghanistan. [19] (http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn?pagename=article&contentId=A61251-2001Oct2)

Subsequently, Sudan made further overtures via Ijaz in July 1996 and April 1997 to the U.S. offering counter-terrorism assistance and access to intelligence data. In September 1997 the Secretary of State Madeleine K. Albright announced she was sending a team of U.S diplomats back to Sudan, a decision reversed a few days later.

In the aftermath of the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon Ijaz and others accused the Clinton administration of having bungled an opportunity to catch bin Laden. [20] (http://www.benadorassociates.com/article/568) The accusations have been rejected by Clinton administration officials including Sandy Berger and Susan Rice.

The following year, others, such as the conservative website NewsMax and Fox News's Sean Hannity, went further than Ijaz and claimed that Sudan had offered to extradite bin Laden direct to the United States. [21] (http://www.newsmax.com/cgi-bin/showinside.pl?a=2002/8/10/230919) [22] (http://mediamatters.org/items/200406220008) [23] (http://mediamatters.org/items/200407230005) The National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States (also known as the 9/11 Commission), stated that "former Sudanese officials claim that Sudan offered to expel Bin Ladin to the United States. Clinton administration officials deny ever receiving such an offer. We have not found any reliable evidence to support the Sudanese claim." [24]

Ijaz isn't a very good source, I wouldn't have figured that out alone personally, I had to have someone tell me about it. Another interesting read...

Alizabe's rest was not peaceful by any stretch of the imagination. She tossed and turned because of her dreams, nightmares. Her dreams weren't set in this world, she didn't know where it was set, but it didn't seem that different then their world.

An open sky appeared in front of Alizabe, two large creatures flew around each other. As they came into focus, Alizabe noticed one was Dracoon, but he was much larger. The other one was smaller, almost the size of a man, but he wasn't human. He had two giant dragon wings coming from his back and had a mane. Red dragon scales covered the mans body except for his face and head, long hair flowed behind him in the wind. Finally a tail gracefully moved behind the man.

Dracoon: "Demon, you dare to destroy my tribe and then force me to chase you down!?"

Dragon Lord: "I am no demon, I am a dragon lord, it is my right to decide which dragons deserve to live and your 'tribe' doesn't. When I kill you, the genocide will be complete!"

Dracoon changed direction and charged the dragon lord, crossing a large area of sky almost instantly. A blast of fire exploded from Dracoon's mouth and consumed the dragon lord, but Dracoon didn't slow his charge. As the blast of fire faded, the dragon lord was still there, but Dracoon had expected this and flipped in the air, his tail lashed down at the dragon lord.

Dragon Lord: "HAHAHAHA!"

The dragon lord had grabbed Dracoon's tail, but Dracoon had a smile on his face... well as much as a dracoon could smile.

Dracoon: "I'll show you what a true dragon lord is."

A brilliant flash of light expanded from Dracoon, and Alizabe woke up halfway through a fall to the floor...

Alizabe landed on the floor with a rather loud crash, the glass fell down a little past her head and shattered. As if Dracoon picked up on her suffering, she recognized his laugh.

Dracoon: "What are you doing trying to sleep in the air? I can't even do that!"

Alizabe: *moans* "Uuugh... Jerk..."

Dracoon: "What's that? You'll have to speak up if you want to be heard!"

Phoenix: "I wish I could join-"

Luke: "Wait, you're leaving!? Coward!"

Phoenix: "... but I'm about to lose all my powers as Dark Phoenix ends the consumption of the world and I'll be nothing but a burden to you."

There was an awkward pause as Phoenix looked at Luke.

Phoenix: "This... rebel isn't my choice of company either..."

Phoenix turned around and walked into the alter, disappearing, her warmth lingering in the air.

Ark: "I guess we should go then, no use staying around here. I'm interested in what you're planning anyways Garro."

Luke: "Man, isn't it obvious? Battle ground, god of war, come on!"

Ark ignored Luke, his obvious arrogance was starting to get on his nerves, and they'd only met a few minutes ago.

Small, not busy place, I'll take the time to say hello if the person looks like they're in a good mood.

At my job, I make a lot of eye contact with people I don't even know, and give them a greeting, it's polite and hey, I've gotten a call in compliment because of it.

Somewhere busy, hard to find in a small town community like mine, I might make eye contact and then look past them. If someone looks busy, I'm not going to bother them, if they're all happy and hurray, they'll most likely enjoy a "Hey man".

Really Millenia? I've beaten the game already, I must just have a lot more free time.

Got Adell to 106, breaking 10,000 Attack and 7,000 defense. I pretty much killed the final boss with just Adell.

Then again I got lucky and stole a Testament from...

Some pretty nifty spoilers actually, I suggest you don't read them.

Spoiler:
Laharl has one, I got super lucky and got it with a 1% chance, got the green flashing one too, no idea what it means. When Rozy got powerful all of a sudden (can't put a spoiler tag inside a spoiler tag sadly) He just had a normal one, and I wish I took the time to steal that too.
