Hector: "Heh, perfect."

Hector watched as BetaPie came closer to them. As the fire was about to hit him, he held his sword to it and as soon as it touched the fire bounced off from the sword and headed towards BetaPie. Hector seemed to float until the fire ended when he semi-gracefully landed on the ground.

Hector: "It wasn't a teleport anyways, you could have stopped it had you stopped my sword."

OoC: Sword doesn't contain any form of Hector except his reflection, and Hector has to use his sword to bend attacks like that, it doesn't matter how big they are. Think of it like the flame is drawn to the sword concentrates at the sword and then bounces and returns to normal. Strength of the attack would change if Hector could do it or not, but this just seems like a generic fire attack to me. If this was supposed to be really powerful, tell me so I can change my post.

OoC: All right, done. Going back to the tripwire attack.

Hector slowed down as the attack came towards him. He could tell that this combination could be better avoided by relying on the underground rooms that the warriors used to prepare at. Unwillingly probably, but never the less!

Hector: "All right, let's see just how much you know about old buildings!"

Hector jabbed his sword into the ground and broke the a slab of conrete that used to cover an elevator. He jumped down into it with a few seconds to spare before the attack hit him. He already had a plan, unless someone followed him, he would be able to ambush someone from below the ground.

Seraphim: "Well, it doesn't really matter now, if we save the princess we can get into the castle!"

Seraphim's thoughts: "And steal enough royal treasure to be set for life! I can't wait!"

Seraphim finished off her drink and seemed to be renewed with a sense of charity and seflessness. Naturally, all an act.

Seraphim heard the word reward and her ears seemed to stand a little.

Seraphim: "Before we charge in, maybe we should find someone that knows where they're going... Rushing out was never my forte."

Although, if worse came to worse, she had a rather dense guy to fall back on and take a few attacks. Seraphim didn't realize she was actually glancing at Arus while thinking that.

OoC: Every story is seperate unless they're linked together by situations and notes. At least, that's how I've come to understand it, me and Grey break our used-to-be cannon a lot. We revise it since so few people care about it and it isn't important if we do or don't. Also, please don't bitch about stuff in public like that during a story, it really kills the mood. There is a discussion thread and all, if you don't want to join a story, simply don't join it.

I've always considered this the more mature forum of this board. Friendly nature between people, all of that, people willying to correct mistakes and fix problems.

Don't provoke Skydude when we're in the middle of a story, don't provoke anyone in the middle of a story. It is indeed, ass hattish.

Seraphim grabbed her dagger and notice the rust. She knew there was already multiple holes in her worn in armor.

Seraphim: "Well, I'll catch you guys at a shop then or something."

Seraphim, not wasting time, left the bar.

Seraphim shopping was much different that how someone else would shop. She walked into the shop, very calm, very mellow. The shop keeper said hello and kept an eye on the thief. Seraphim watched as another person walked in, all it took was a split second of the shop keeper looking at the other person and Seraphim stole a knew shiney knife. She picked up some light armor and walked to the counter, gil in hand.

Shopkeeper: "Will this be all for you today?"

Seraphim: "Yeah, yeah, I saw a few other things, but I don't really have much money to spare, maybe some other time."

Shopkeeper: "I'll be looking forward to it."

Seraphim thinking: "Heh, I'm sure you will..."

Mel flew high into the air, inviting the others up. If they came up, she could suddenly dive bomb at them, getting them by surprise with a half ambush.

Mel's mother held up a hand and a Dark Weapon appeared in her hand. It's appearence gave off the smell of burning flesh. Mel wanted to panic, but as her mother walked her towards the door, she smelt something. A much more pleasent odor, that of a field of flowers mixed in a sense of heat. Mel's mother came to a sudden halt.

Mel's mother: "Why are you here?"

Mel turned to see a diety she'd only heard about. The softer side of a trinity, fierce and passionate, more in touch with human emotion than the other two. Her wings blazed brightly in flames, she seemed to not be wearing much of anything, the only thing Mel could see what a strap of cloth hanging over one of her shoulders and the edge of what appeared to be a pure white robe. The brightness from the wings blocked everything out.

Phoenix: "When you brought Mel into this world with Star, you made a pact of blood with Star. The seal now etched on both of your backs. It is a seal that depicts Origin's wings burning in the sky, or rather, it depicts me."

Mel's mother didn't seem phased, as far as she knew, she was perfectly safe from anything, and this fake God would be an easy victim to a Dark Weapon.

Phoenix: "Many women try to draw the seal on them at the birth of a child, but it is not a sacrifice, just a hope. You and Star sacrificed your own blood, her, to me. Even if she is part ex-being; remember, that she's under my protection."

Mel was dragged forward by her mother and as they entered the door, Mel looked back to see Phoenix burning away brightly, but that nice light soon faded and was replaced with the dim lights of a space ship. Mel felt a hit to her alignment with nature, it seemed so far away now, but she also felt an incredible surge of time and void energy. Two very potent magics.

Now, this is why you need to learn some life lessons. If you are 14 and smoking weed, you're a moron. You're young, enjoy the high that life gives you. Enjoy mental awareness and no stress. You have another 2-4 years before you have to deal with stress.

You have no reason to be smoking weed, just like you have no reason to be doing ciggerettes, or alcohol.

By the way, you don't take the fall for that, your parents do.

Two months is hardly a bump in this forum. You also shouldn't act like a mod, just like I'm doing, say something relevant or don't say anything at all?

I guess I should've added this into my last post, but it slipped my mind.

The younger you are, the easier it is for you to get addicted to something, the harder it will also be to justify not doing it. If you've grown up with something, you won't see anything wrong with it until someone can prove something is wrong with it, but they don't just have to prove it, they have to prove it in your eyes, your already biased eyes.

Please, wait until you're an adult already, wait until you have a steady income with little to no debt, if you want to smoke, smoke responsibly, after you learn responsibility. It isn't a cool thing to do, it is a moronic thing to do even if it doesn't hurt you. The only thing we as humans have is our intelligents and perception of the world. Altering them just to get high is a stupid thing.

Over all, is it harmful? Possibly depending on who your source is. Is it smart? No. Is it stupid? Not when you're older, although it isn't smart even then.

OoC Yeah yeah, basics, here, go.

Uomo was in a particularly odd mood today. The flower of the rose in his mouth tasted bitter sweet with the blood of his next "victim". It was his job after all, to hunt these people down and put their lives in danger. He never justified his job, he didn't really like it much either though.

He believed he was above most normal people. Above their laws of death and life. He didn't whine or cry about anything, he thought everyone was below him, even his "boss" was below him in ways. He did the work after all, a part of him must enjoy it, but he just didn't get any reward from it.

In his own eyes, he was sinless, perfect, and nothing a lowly person could say would ever jog him from this position. A thorn struck his inner lip and he looked forward a few miles, watching the earth curve slightly. He ripped the very end of the rose off, stabbing his finger with a thorn. He hurled it across this huge distance, the small piece of life turning into a projectile equal to a bullet.

Uomo smiled, thorns pressing into his already bloody lips. He could see Miller wasn't just strong willed, he already had a strong body. Maybe his work was unnecessary here? That was just fine with him. As Miller moved towards him he adjusted the rode to his cheek, more thorns entering his mouth, cutting his gums and lips.

He started to move towards Miller, blood dripping from the end of the rose to the ground. He stopped suddenly and it dripped once more, catching the wild plants of fire, spreading in a torrent of flames at Miller, but they opened for Uomo.

As the flames came towards Miller, they split and made a circle around him, turning into an inferno wall. If he was brave enough he could just dive right out of the fire and he might survive it. Uomo just walked the path of the scorched earth, ready to enter the circle when he finally got to it.

Uomo's smile became wider and his teeth began to show, blood filling his mouth slowly. The fires vanished and the burnt patches of ground sprang to life. Uomo leaped towards Miller now, moving with an unreal lightness. He came down towards Miller like a cannon ball, his landing was like one too. He tried to use his hand to crush Miller's skull into the ground, but he expected to miss. When he hit the ground, the earth was shatter under him, spraying up debris like a stick of dynamite went off. The rose in Uomo's mouth started to bleed it's own life from it's stem.

So yeah, let's list the reasons of why your situation is completely different.

1) You're getting it from a doctor. (I hope.)

2) You're doing it legally. (I hope.)

3) You have a reason.

4) It infact helps you and you won't get in a shitton of trouble.

5) Your job doesn't hinge on it if you're doing it.

6) Your parents probably do it with you.

If you're doing it illegally... well... I'm going to say there are other alternatives for doing it for a reason.

1) THC pills.

2) If you have no clue who's growing it, you might end up getting pot laced with shit. That's one of the problems, pot itself isn't very dangerous, but whoever is giving it to you might be.

3) Unless it is a neccessity, you're just using it as a crutch. If you're a gimp, maybe the crutch is nice for you, maybe you need it, but if you aren't, you're just wasting your money.

No, I'm a crazy ass bastard as it is. Give me anything and I might kill everyone in the room with me.

I've grown up around it though, I know that it doesn't do much, but people tend to use it as a crutch instead of solve their problems. They also get aggitated when they get to used to it and then can't smoke it even for a day.

Better idea.

Ziff, you're a responsible dude, you've looked up everything there is to pot and you can make a very well, educated, argument that pot isn't bad and blah blah blah. It's boring. We know pot isn't bad. I know pot isn't bad. That isn't the point of anything I've been saying.

I'm saying people are morons. They do stupid things. They're young and they think they're invincible. (Nice assumption by the way, you really caught me dead on, I mean, I'm totally that one kid that does reckless things.)

I'm also saying a fourteen year old isn't responsible enough or educated enough to make a choice like that. I don't think a sixteen year old is either. Now, if they are educated like you and have spent a lot of time reading about pot and everything about it and can tell me the structure and shoot off a bunch of facts about it and blah blah blah. Then I apologize, it is wrong for me to assume they aren't responsible adults who know the limits of everything around them and all the possibilities they have.

But hey, who am I to give a life lesson, I'm a sixteen year old, right? I mean, I'm certainly unable to see what goes on in life and what people do and make judgements (although not completely reasonable and probably a little to quick tempered) about the world around me.

Ark drifted through the endless ocean that had been his home and way of transportation for so long. It seemed like an endless time now, drifting from one world to the next, going between realities, through the lives of many people. Sometimes he started life, sometimes he ended it. This time though he had a very different task ahead of him.

Ark *between coughs and gasps*: "This world! I know this world! Why has it turned into darkness!?"

Ark's voice echoed across the dark world. He was in a bay, looking towards a town that seemed to have been destroyed a long time ago. It was just a pile of ashes with a few old wooden houses half caved in. The bay's water was completely black, the earth looked like it had been salted, this world couldn't support any life.

Ark got out of the water slowly, his clothes dripping wet. As he stepped onto the land the area where he stepped bursted into life, changing the ground back to normal around him to normal. The ground seemed to spring to life in a path, leading towards the burned out houses.

Ark: "This world's heart has been stripped from it?"

Ark follows the path of freshly grown green grass and wanders into the town, and sees a woman kneeling, a small rift in reality being opened up. She turned to look at Ark only briefly, an odd hat hanging far down so it covered her eyes. Ark took another step and prepared his spear, this woman probably had her heart taken from her and was trying to create a portal to another world where they could do this again.

Voice: "Please, do not believe my heart has been taken. Outside of the two great dieties I'm the lone survivor of this world, the hearts of many have been taken to use as slaves."

The voice echoed in Ark's mind and he realized it was coming from the woman.

Woman's Voice: "Only the two men left in your image and bestowed with the power of your heart have been able to transcend the boundries of the mortal plain. The man now known as "Hero" has become the seal that keeps the brilliant hearts of others safe. The man now known as "Origin" watches over the seal, forever letting his powerful heart burn brightly... but I fear that their power won't be enough."

Ark walked towards the woman, still hearing her in his mind.

Woman's Voice: "My heart has been sapped of all it's strength and only the tiniest ray of my soul keeps me from turning into a heartless. Soon it will burn out and the heartless will have the power to manipulate the collective souls of the darkness. I've seen how our world will end, Origin will fall, his heart unable to be taken he will instead be killed. The seal will have no more protection and his body will be destroyed, his heart also beyond the reach of these heartless hordes. However with his seal broken, the heartless will have full control over this world and will take the powers they have gained."

He kept listening, wondering why this woman was talking to him.

Woman's Voice: "Your existance in our world has already brought some of the strength back into my heart. Your heart is truely one that has gone through the hardest trials and come out with true greatness. You have already cured some of the land just by walking on it... I can not stay here and you can not do this alone, so I'm trying to recruit some of the people that managed to flee our world before it was taken. I don't know if you can trust them, and I don't know if I can trust you, but I believe that if this world was created by you, you will be able to save it."

The portal the woman was working on suddenly grows enough so that she could get through with no problem.

Woman's Voice: "When they get here, tell them not to use this portal to try and get home, this will take me to Sol Tiau, where no one should follow me. They will come out of this portal soon I believe... so please just wait for a little while."

Ark waved good-bye as the woman stepped through the portal she created and disappeared. The world felt slightly darker without her... but all he could do was wait and hope that whoever she was calling got the message.
