Any chance on giving info about the Program Bank and Data Bank Registers?
I'm trying to make custom palettes for my SMB-SMAS hack, but I'm not that good with the PBR.

Also, I have one question.
How does LDA, (x or y) know to load from a RAM address or ROM address?

Sorry for being gone for so long ... I was playing Endless.
I eventually gave up when I figured out that I can still FC Survivor Max on the 63 Stage.

One of these days, I'll try to max out the socre (I was three digits off).

I've been working mostly on the ASM for this game, but after some work, I finished the first 5 levels of the first and second (yes second) adventure.
I managed to make more levels after the difficult quest. The game overall will feature about 200+ levels. Screenshots:





The pipe in the last SS takes Mario to the Underground world.
The game will also feature custom palettes, modified Fire Mario ASM, Bullet Bill ASM, a new powerup (maybe), custom GFX (hopefully), new Map16's, new sprites (Hammer Bros. spit fire and/or throw Hammers at the same time), slippery Ice Worlds, low gravity Moon Worlds, instant kill blocks (thanks to Insectduel), and a bunch more things that I'm keeping secret.
Every now and then I'll ask for beta testers (maybe after World 2 of both adventures).

Until then, comments? Questions? Suggestions?

There's a pointer for the pointer to the ExGFX, so yes, it very variable.
If I ever find, I might post it. But I agree with Ice Man about the N00bs

I'm thinking of make the Fire Flower that makes Mario small and still use Fire.
The good side is that he can go through small space normally unavailabe.
The bad side is one hit will kill (I'm choosing to do this).

I'm also thinking of a sprite that kills Mario regardless of Star power.

What are your opiniones on this?

Good work explaining it DJB. As you would probably know, the last bit in the map data seems useless. I'll probably use it for more map types. DJ, I will make you a beta tester if you like.

Progress: I've hit a snag in level designing. As DJ knows, I'm limited to 32 levels for each map "type" so I can only do 32 Ground levels which can slow me down a bit. So I'm thinking of making a table for writing the map number consistently, so I can have 100 ground levels if I please.

Either way, I'll be sending DJ Bouche the code to my level addressing since he seems to have the best idea of what's going on. This should also help him with his own level stuff.

As for the invulnerable Fire Bar, I guess I can use the three non-moving to do this, so I don't have to sacrfice the old ones.

My current progress is W1-6. I'm adding more than 4 levels to the first world so I actually can fit 200+ levels. I'm thinking of Random access levels and new physics for Luigi. I've also got Mario to run a little faster now.

I've also found the GFX data, so there is a 99.9% chance that ExGFX will exist. I just need to find the STD GFX (Blocks, Coins, etc). Their indexed in every level, so they weren't in the same area.

It's funny, ever since losing it, I just learned addressing myself (with some help of course) and got over it.
But I guess this will save me some time, so YAY for FuSoYa staying alive in a vague way that he's so well known for.

I am! My record is 52 seconds on a standard cube.
But I want to show you all something that can make you guys quake with fear!
First, there's Byrden's Java Cube site. He features several cubes that you can spend time on (go to "Big Boxes").
And for those of you who find the puzzles of our dimension to be no problem, the Superliminal team has created a Rubik's Hypercube!
It is a perfect analagy of a Rubik's Cube in four dimensions unfolded in three dimensions (it takes about forever to get used to). I haven't solved it yet, but I'm am very close!

Now, for the real reason I am here. The pure definition of Craziness! A man by the name of Roice Nelson has created a 5-Dimensional Hyper Rubik's Cube! You're a genius if you know how to look at it.
It is a perfect analogy of a 5 dimensions projected in 4D unfolded in 3D and projected again in 2D. It has 10 sides with 81 "hyper" stickers on each side.
Try out these puzzles and tell me what you think!
