Hey, i'm a straight guy and i dont get the boob thing either. They just dont seem sexual to me, i dont even consider a top-less woman to be nudity. What are you supposed to do with them as a non-infant?

I cant speak for other guys, but my boxers are clean at all times

Its not that i HATE boobs, its that i dont get turned on by them. They are fine and dont offend me, but just are'nt a sexual thing to me. They are like seeing a girls elbow or spine to me.

I'm watching Photon right now and so far its rather funny. It has a sci-fi setting though. I thought Gokudo was very funny, but it has a fantasy setting.

If you find another one like Azumanga Daioh let me know because i loved that one! Never heard of Ichigo Mashimaro

CESum - were you not paying attention to what you were reading? Rom Manic clearly said that Suicide, etc. would NOT be compeltely eliminated under socialism, just that some depression is caused by money issue (a simple fact).

All you capitalist fanatics - under your system what happens to people who are mentally ill? slow? handi-capped? would you just let them out on the street to starve to death? Would you rather live in a society where everyone is mildly poor or one where only greedy back-stabbing bastards can get ahead? There is much more to life then money, i say.

Mattp - You ASSUME? well, what if they dont have family? Or what if their family cant afford it? So it's ok for handi-cap people to be left out in the street, if they are from the poor?

CESum - you have a mental illness? so? I've known over 100 people who have mental illness, i've actually worked with them before. Most can function in society, though they may be impaired (which isn't their fault, so why do you want to punish them for it?). There are, however, a great number who just plain cannot live a normal life and need to be taken care of. It's sad that you feel we should just throw them in the street and let them freeze or starve.

Lots of people dont have family who care about them, or have family that would be too poor to support them.
Actually more people fit this than you think, hundreds of thousands. This may be small in comparison to the 300 million+ people in the US, but still, you're talking about killing off hundreds of thousands of innocent people for the crime of being handi-capped and poor.
Mattp, you are a truly heartless bastard

mattp - i'll always be against letting people starve or freeze to death, when just a fraction of the money wasted over in Iraq could easily take care of them. There are easily that many people stashed away in various mental facilities and care homes across the country.

CESum - but it does, it has everything to do with the matter at hand, because what you are suggesting is stopping anything that has to do with socialism, which includes aid to handi-capped people. You want to believe that total and complete capitalism is a utopia with no consequences, while i'm saying that its only a utopia for the rich and fortunate, while it would be abject hell for at leats hundreds of thousands of people. No amount of pep talking is going to make someone with severe autism suddenly get up and start working a regualr job and support themselves, hard work can only go so far. Good for you if you overcame something, but some illnesses and handi-caps simply cant be overcome. Its a sad fact of life. You can flap your arms all day, but no matter how much you believe you're going to take off, and no matter how hard you do, it aint gonna happen. I'm not here to win friends or influence people.

I myself have never used Marijuana, but i know a few people who use it. The main damage Marijuana causes is lung damage and that is because of the smoke. If you used it in a different way you could get around that (such as baking it into food or vaporizing it). The marijuana smoke smells nice, more like incense than nasty tobacco smoke. Marijuana is not physically addictive the way nicotine is, and causes less damage to the user. Alchohol is many times over more dangerous than marijuana. There is absolutely no justifiable reason to keep this illegal. The only people benefitting from it being illegal are the Justice system (more cases = more bucks for them), and the DOC (more prisoners = more funding for them).
As someone who's been there i can say for a fact that there are tons and tons of people sitting in prison over something as dumb as marijuana. I know one poor guy who got 16 years because he got caught with some marijuana at his school when he was 17. He was not a trouble-maker either, he was an otherwise good kid. What the system did to him is in my opinion one of the sickest miscarriages of justice i've ever seen.
People are going to use marijuana, and have for thousands of years, society as whole would be better off with it legalized. It could be taxed much like cigarrettes, while it would still be cheaper than buying it illegally, plus safer. While it would not completely get rid of the drug trafficking problem it would take a big chunk out of it.
The only reason Marijuana is a "gateway" drug, is because it's illegal, so when people try it out and find its not that bad, then they may think "damn i'm already committing a crime, i got nothing to lose now", or "If the government lied to me about this one, maybe they lied about the other ones to".

It did'nt used to be this way, but why do they all, almost without exception, now have:
2136512437126537 tattoos, sometimes even sleeved-out like an inmate at a men's prison.
nipple and genital piercings
the same poorly shaved crotch, as if trying to be a small child or barbie doll
huge heaving fake tits
a tendacy to be extremely loud and/or speak like a drunken sailor
an insistance on being gagged or choked to sound as if they are about to hurl.

I mean, come on porn women, i want to pretend i'm with an attractive FEMININE woman, not a woman with tons of male characteristics!

In any prison in the US of a decent calibur (not counting minimum or low security here), a man will get raped rather he is effeminate or not, particularly if he is 1) young 2) a loner 3) basically nonviolent (not willing to make a shank and stab someone, or club someone over the head with a padlock). These places are monster-making factories. The very fact that a young man can be forced to submit to homosexual rape, be forced to pair up with a gang, or be forced to stab someone because he had some marijuana is fucking tragic. About the only equally sad reason to get sent to one of those places is when a young man gets send there over consentual sex with his girlfriend who is just barely under age. I know a guy doing 16 years for being 18 and signing his son's birth certificate when the mother was his 16 year old girlfriend. He just wanted to be a father and start a family. Now he wont get out of prison till he's in his 30's and then he'll have to be a registered sex offender for the rest of his life.

Posted on 03-20-06 10:40 PM, in Any of you into metal? Link
Back in my youth i was hugely into metal. Towards the end of high school i lost interest in most of it. I used to really be into death metal and such. Carcass was at one time my favorite band.
When i was in middle school, Iron Maiden was my favorite band. Now, looking back on my collection, i dont really care much for anything Iron Maiden has done since they changed singers. But i recently played the first Iron Maiden album again, and Killers, and was surprised at just how good they are. All these years later they still sound really good to me.
I also still like the early Mercyful Fate and King Diamond albums. That album Dont Break The Oath is probably the finest metal album (in my opinion)
I still like my old Cathedral albums to, but i think that is the band that got me out of metal and off into psychedelic land.
