You can be a professional poker player with no college degree. See also furnace installation/repair guy. My uncle never even graduated high school and does pretty damn well for himself with the latter profession.

Marble Madness thirded.

Also, it may be expensive, but River City Ransom comes highly recommended as well.

Just got done with another session of DDRMAX PS2...I just don't get ee. Tried it twice and couldn't make it as far as I did my last session. Weird.

On the other hand, I got relatively far into MAX300 (Up to da da da-da, da-da da da-da.... before the freeze).

The Extra Stage version still kicks my ass good though. Oh well.

I note that the box doesn't even show up in lololol, presumably because it doesn't work in FF. Correct?

I don't even know what my normal heartrate is. It was pretty damn fast for awhile, though that may be due to, you know, the cancerous mass in my chest that was pushing against it.

Since I started DDRing and working out, I think it's gone down significantly, but I don't know for sure. Hey Rydain, you're something of a fitness buff, correct? Can you tell me how a heart monitor works? Like do you just put it on your wrist or what?

RANDOM FUN FACT: 5-time Tour de France champ Miguel Indurain had a resting heart rate of under 30BPM in his prime. No, that's not a typo.

What the fuck happened to demand being high?! And such.

And yeah, what IS the hardest song in Mario Mix comparable to anyway? As mm said, I like me my 9 footers, and the fact that I don't need a third pad on a seperate system.

As a fun aside, I can now consistently pass Rhythm & Police.

Yeah, the "unable to meet high demand" line was what I had heard originally, and does make a lot more sense.

It was even posted somewhere in this topic, wasn't it?

Dragon Warrior IV I'd agree with. Dragon Warrior I, II, or III, you'd be better off trying to find the Game Boy/GBC remakes if you ask me.

So with the people upstairs having a party, I decided I'll re-watch the 1995 World Series of Poker, when Dan Harrington wins it all.

Dan Harrington is one of my poker heroes, alongside Doyle Brunson.

The World Series has been around since the 1970s. Interestingly, I think the poker pros of the day (The aforementioned Doyle Brunson among them) proposed the Series as a way to get more dead money into Vegas and start some juicy cash games at the same time.

Poker took off in popularity for two main reasons, both around mid-late 2003: The Travel Channel started airing the World Poker Tour, and Chris Moneymaker's win of the 2003 WSOP was televised on ESPN. In particular, Moneymaker struck the American public as being a "regular guy", which gave rise to the belief that "If he can win, so can I".

Yeah, the series going less than seven is inconceivable.
