Wow. Hey, I noticed a small picture of Culex on RPGClassics. Maybe you can try to animate Culex's battle sprite and make it that small? I mean, some of the pictures for the various ranks on some of the Rank Sets have to be big, right?

You were supposed to have the Varia before you got Power Bombs. Either way, look in the shaft near the Norfair Elevator in Brinstar. It's easy to climb up with Power Bombs, but all you really need is Ice Beam. If you want to know the exact route, here it is:

In the tall shaft in Brinstar with the bugs flying out of the sideways pipes and the Rippers/Gliders, plus a door leading to a Recharge Room, freeze the first Ripper/Glider and jump on it. Look at the pipe on the right. Freeze the second Ripper/Glider when it's at the pipe and jump onto it. Roll into the pipe (if you froze the Ripper too soon, you'll need to plant a bomb and go to the right a little without falling off so the bomb pushes you diagonally up-right) and plant bombs to destroy the blocks. You reach a door. Enter for Varia.

That's nearly the same size as the one I ripped yesterday and shrinking it would give the same results. I'm trying to avoid having big ranks because that would stretch the thread if someone is using my ranks along with a huge avatar as well as a long custom title.

Okay. Maybe you could find someone to shrink it for you?

Edit: If I'm correct, the Smithy ranks are about as big as that picture of Culex.

At the end of the game, you get Ice Beam back, which gives you the original Power Suit back, too, but it's only at the final boss.

Edit: Well, that's it. I need no more help. I am finally at Tourian. Man, it took me a while to get there! Thanks for all the help you guys gave me! Though, I did find most (if not all) of the Chozo Guardians on my own, except those hints given in previous posts before I started asking for help here... Again, thanks for the help!

Edit: ...Oh... Oh my... I FINALLY BEAT THIS HACK! Time: 12:47 (I think...) I didn't get the animals, seeing as I only had about 7 minutes left until the place went boom. Still, I'm done with this hack, and it's about time. Now I can concentrate on other things, since this was keeping me away from the stuff. But hey, that's what happens when you play something so good. Seriously, well done on this hack! I hope you make a sequel, but I doubt that'll happen. Anyways... It was superhard getting out of Tourian. I thought you'd have to go back through Maridia to get out, but I guess I was wrong. I give this hack... 10/10! Mwahaha.

Edit2: Oh yeah, forgot something that's shown after the credits:
My rate for collecting items is... 60.1%. Lame. Oh well. My only objective was to beat the hack. Does this mean I'm a Super Metroid master now? (Just kidding. )

Beat the whole thing in under two hours.

Could one do it in under 1 hour? I'm sure no one could, but I know one thing: A Metroid master could beat all the Metroid games in under 2 hours. I wish I could get within 3 hours, but I can't. I usually go the wrong way, or get stuck trying to beat an enemy or touching walls.
