Obviously not, but you're so badass (or something) you could kill a fish in the Atlantic Ocean while in Las Vegas. I don't see how this could be any different, except for the genocide part.

Actually, you can't block certain layouts at the moment. You can disable them all, I believe, but that's no fun.

It is if you want to have a large number of posts per page. Less loading time, plus it's faster overall. Besides, it makes the board seem a lot simpler rather than having 201 or so different styles of posting around. You don't have to adjust your way of reading for every other post.

(besides, I don't have the willpower to make a layout, nor do I have anything to put in it anyhow)

Earthquake still is super effective on Lanturn, because it doesn't have Levitate. That's what kind of screwed Magneton over (although Magnet Pull kicks Skarmory's ass)

This is old news. And it's a shame, really. Hopefully, it won't become another Duke Nukem 3D, and ideally, it should be released before the Next-Gen console wave begins.

Dugtrio is the other problem Magneton has. Although if you manage to get it out before Skarm switches out or at a time it can't (IE: after a Pokemon faints), you'd be in the money. Besides, Magneton does have Boltbeam resistance (resistance to both Ice and Electric - only Lanturn shares that property), and I believe it is the fourth-most oft-used electric type (after Zapdos, Raikou and Jolteon)

That patch that replaces sprite 53? Bad idea. (check towards the bottom of the post)

They've been using it for quite a while. More specifically, since FR/LG came out, since it got Substitute with that.

And scrolling. Don't forget the ease of pressing PageUp or PageDown instead of having to screw with the scrollbar.

Zapdos's biggest edge is arguably its Ground resistance, though.

And Articuno was one of those Pokemon that was screwed over when the G/S generation came around. Back then, it was on almost every team. But now...eh...

You don't have to change the code to allow for cutscenes. Like I said, there's a semi-cumbersome method of doing it RIGHT NOW. It's only a theory of mine - I've never tried it. But I'm confident it will work.

Many songs disagree with you, Danielle, even if we only include those related to fish. Your view is just skewed at the moment because of all this sea-drama.

But that song is still awesome.

Hmm...now that I double checked, you're right. However, Articuno, though underused, does fare well in standard play.

I agree with Alastor about the levels. There just isn't anything special about the levels. Nothing seems to stand out, causing it to look boring. Using graphics we've all seen before in a lousy way doesn't help much, either.

This page has the list of tiers in RBY. The standards are Pokemon that are seen in almost every team. This is due to their versatility, their power, among other things. As the page says, those that are boarderline (underused) are not used as often as the standards, but will fare well in standard play or are too powerful to be considered underused. .

Under proper formating, that would've been "Honestly though, I'm not looking terribly hard into this question. But I have good news. I just saved a bunch of money on car insurance by switching to Geico."

I like them. The Russian Dance one is a little slow compared to the real Moskau dance, though. Other than that, I can't see anything wrong with them. Good job.

I agree that the scroll bar is more precision than the arrows, wheel and page keys, but I personally only use it over great distances. I guess it's just that "right brained VS. left brained" stuff.

I still don't see how adding another lame person to a predominantly lame mix causes balance.

He's one of those better "lame" users due to his gimmick. People like him are the seasoning of message boards. Not required, but it makes it a lot better at times (and worse at others).
