I'm not really into the directors etc.. but for Studios I'll say Sunrise for sure, they have made a whole ton of good mecha series as well as some great other stuff.

As for composers, I like Masuda Toshiro (Excel Saga, Naruto) and Kajiura Yuki (Noir and stuff). In the voice department I guess I'll have to settle with Seki Tomokazu (Sagara Sousuke, Domon Kasshu and others) because he's awesome.

Lastly, for mangaka I'd like to mention Oda Eiichiro (One Piece), Anzai Nobuyuki (Mär, Flame of Recca) and Oh! Great (ok, so I like the girls ). And uh.. that guy who does Hajime no Ippo.. because Hajime no Ippo is wtfamazing.

Judging from the dub of Kingdom Hearts 2 (which rocked, even dubbed, and supposedly has the same voice actors) and the Japanese version of AC, I'd have to say the Japanese voices are better . I mean if I had only played the translated versions of the games and stuff it'd probably be great, but.. yeah.

Because manga is widely accepted in all of Japan among all ages it is also much more accepted to draw adult oriented manga. There's also the fan aspect that leads to Doujinshi, basically fans of a certain manga/anime/game drawing fanfics of that, often adult stuff. As a man once said about pornography: "It serves its purpose". Besides, a lot of hentai artists are really really skilled, and some of them have made manga that a lot of people know and like (two guys who come to mind would be Oh! Great with Tenjou Tenge and Air Gear for example and Rikudou Koushi with Excel Saga).

That looked kinda neat actually.. and it seems they'll end it around chapter 58.. which is cool. But the hyuk hyuk laughter sounded more like hye hye.

I'm not really sure how long the American dub has gotten.. but I guess it should be up to Advanced Generation which is as far as the Japanese version has gotten I think. I wouldn't really mind seeing it end forever though .

I guess music can kinda enhance some emotions and stuff, so picking the right kind for the right mood is nice. Although mostly I just mix stuff I like, more mixed than most people I know at that. I can go from some heavy psychedelic to fancy piano tunes to some anime opening to industrial. What I want from it depends on the kind of song etc, but I consider lyrics to be kinda important, as long as I understand them. If there is no lyrics, or I don't understand shit of it (hi French), it all comes down to how it sounds.

Quite a lot actually, Nobuo Uematsu, Yasunori Mitsuda, Motoi Sakuraba and that kind of stuff. Also pretty much any track I really like from any game.

I suppose you COULD take some time explaining what system it is for and how the less law abiding citizens may acquire a sample. (Ok, first one is enough).

Free porn /o/. Although seriously, free, easy-to-find information has made stuff easier for me in a lot of ways. Easy = Good.
(I also noticed that site has Gaijin Smash.. which wins).

About nan/nani... did I understand you right that in cases where it should say "nan" rather than "nani", you don't use the kanji but spell it out?

The chiisai-u was just plain wrong, and let's not forget the words where you can read 何 as both nani and nan <3. As for when to use kanji, it's largely dependent on how the text looks, people usually aim for a neat kana/kanji mix. You can also use katakana about the same way we use italic in the west (this is easy to see in manga).

As for love corner, I'm with my TV right now (and it's in a corner).

I know a guy who has like 120GB mp3s on his puter. I'm not entirely sure how much I have myself.. my normal playlist has 141 hours though. A search for *.mp3 yielded 27GB or so.. but that's not all my music (there's some flac and ogg and wav) and not all of it is music .

The GM staff is very nice however. I played at the start with Xk, setz, some others... Taryn's played with us before, ||bass, more board members... so take the plunge.

The Spinach guys have also greatly misunderstood how the letter J is pronounced and seem to think that typical laughter is written like Jajajaja. In Swedish this would mean something like "Yeah yeah.. stfu", well, not exactly, it all depends on your tone. But nevertheless it's annoying to see them looking all cocky when they're laughing at you and maybe actually being cocky (in a totally different way but still :p). *Create account*.

edit: and Spinach is sort of a deliberate typo of Spanish with changing the s into c and changing the vowels.
double edit: So I fixed it. And saw witeasprin. And was kicked. And then I kicked some Spanish (or whatever) guys' asses. They could not live with a complete n00b (and chicken) doing that. I thoroughly enjoyed "say bye bye" and being kicked, because it was like them declaring I was clearly a better player.
triple edit: Mancha killed me in one shot with the rocket robot, that was kinda lame.
quadruple edit: I welcome luisGao into the world of bannedness, using that infinite turns trick just because I rocked your bottom with my ONE shot versus your FIVE was clearly not smart. I shall quote the WoW boards: L2P or Learn to Play.

Checking your spelling/grammar is generally a waste of time in IM. If you've ever IMed me, you know that I don't "sound" the same in IM as I do on this board.

Of course, some people do not understand this due to one of a few reasons, and carry their AIM speak into the message board. These aren't necessairly stupid people. Though some of them certainly are... Some just don't know how to talk on a message board yet.

On the flip side of the coin, I have seen plenty of people with perfect spelling/grammar and absolutely nothing worthwhile or interesting to say.

Or you could just learn how to write good AND fast and own the world of IM (so to say).

I think the PS3 price is kinda fair for coming with support for a brand new disc format from the start.. I'm also pretty sure the x360 ended up at around the same price when you add in the new hd-dvd player that's coming for it. However I'm sure I heard that the hd-dvd player for the 360 won't be for games. I probably won't get a v1 ps3, but I will get one. Lower price + less baby diseases = win.
