Chances are you wandered to somewhere non-safe, and I can think of a few places where you'd get your ass kicked...

If there wasn't a save point, you were in the wrong place; the Wind Shrine had one about halfway to the boss (which was just a big bird)

Edit: You couldn't even get around the save point room, it was directly in your path.

I was thinking maybe you ran into a bandersnatch on the overworld; if you're not careful, two of those can take out your whole party pretty easily right at the beginning.

But you couldn't have gotten to the canal that fast... you need a key.

Having a Wii is not a requirement. Wanting one is

Ah, that's good. I won't have one for a bit unless I can get one for Christmas, and I needed a layout change badly, I've been using this thing for ages.

Text: White/light blue/light gray
Text BG: Dark blue (RGB 16/16/64 is what I have in mind here)
Squares: 0/0/32 and 8/16/32
Main BG: Black

If you can do an SNES or N64 (shut up, I like it)-ish theme with those colors, great. Part of the reason I'm getting it is the virtual console anyway (stupid crappy computer *kicks it*)

Want: 2 Classic Controllers, 1 (extra) Wiimote, 1 (extra) Nunchuck, Zelda: TP, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Fire Emblem

However, I'm thinking I'll skip on the avatar change. I figure it's best to keep something that's easily recognizable at a glance (although my layout coloration won't be changing much...)

I'm guessing you're primarily referring to currently-illegal drugs?

Showing ones underwear in public is illegal (this one was taken out recently, but shows the depths of politician’s ignorance.)

I'll address each of these in order, since it's easier that way than making a generalized statement:

1: wtf
2: I'll just say I disagree with it being illegal, and add a request to not bring up the debate again. It gives me headaches.
3: It's a matter of understanding the act and its consequences, some underage people do and some do not. So this law I can understand, to an extent. Besides which, legal or not, I learned one thing from high school - teenage girls can be manipulative lying bitches, and some of them would have nothing against willingly having sex with someone, later accusing them of rape, and being able to act well enough on the stand to convince people that it happened that way. That last sentence (that is, the run-on) isn't an argument in favor of illegality, though the first sentence is.
4: ... it is?
5: I think it should have similar restrictions/regulations as alcohol and tobacco, we've gotten into that here before, there should be other threads in the forum if you want to look through them.
6: retarded, nothing more to say about that
7: Removed recently as you said, so let's not get too far into that. However, I think I know which law you're referring to, living in Virginia as I do...
8. Regulate and tax it. Seriously. It will happen, legal or not, since enough people see it as a way to make an easy couple bucks, may as well take advantage of the situation. That may seem like a terribly mercenary perspective, but I think it's better to make money off something that doesn't hurt anyone than to waste money fighting it simply because some religious people say it's "wrong". Especially when that money could go towards hunting down more dangerous criminals, the kidnappers, rapists, and murderers.

On a final note, I blame a lot of the above on Christians. Argue all you want about whether or not there's a seperation between church and state, it's simply impossible to permanently seperate the two without having the government run by a bunch of automatons. The way I see it, there's no non-religious explanation for most of the victimless crimes (possible exceptions: drugs, public displays of affection), and what religion do most Americans at least claim to follow? Now, don't take offense to that anyone, I'm simply saying that it's a side-effect of religion, and I think that most people posting in here would understand my rationale behind it.

actually, you kinda missed hwat I intended to say. I probably screwed the wording up though.

It's a democracy. Most of the country is religious. Religious ideals getting into laws is pretty much unavoidable.

I'm up to the second two... uh... stone tablet things, whatever they were called.

Bartz, L35
Freelancer w/ !Lance, !Blue
Enhancer/Aegis Shield/Gold Hairpin/Black Robe/Protect Ring
Mastered Jobs: Samurai, Blue Mage

Lenna, L34
Dancer w/ !Black L6
Chicken Knife/Ribbon/Rainbow Dress/Red Slippers
Mastered Jobs: None (Level 6 White, Black, Time Mage)

Galuf*, L35
Ranger w/ !Smoke (I hate those things in the trench.)
Artemis Bow/Twist Headband/Black Garb/Kaiser Knuckles
Mastered Jobs: Mystic Knight

Faris, L35
Ninja w/ Light Step (I hate those lava floors in the trench.)
Sasuke's Katana/Assassin's Dagger/Black Cowl/Black Garb/Protect Ring
Mastered Jobs: Thief, Geomancer. Summoner level 5.

I have Masamune, Sage's Staff, Magus Rod, and Yoichi's Bow, and Faris will probably get Masamune when she's done mastering a few more jobs (Ninja and Summoner). Artemis Bow is stronger, though, so I now have no use for that damned Yoichi's Bow. Lenna will probably be using the Magus Rod and Sage's Staff as a Mime once I get Ninja mastered for her.

I killed a few bosses without getting much help from Magic Sword... Carbuncle + Multi-target Firaga + Fire Rod/Magus Rod =

* Spoiler warning.

Spoiler:
Spoiler warning, see above.

Ok, I know it's not really Galuf. But shhh, there might be one person somewhere out there that doesn't yet know that you lose him.

Yay! I got Mighty Guard.

Oh, and I also got killed shortly after my previous post. I need to stop forgetting healing items. When I don't go into a battle already half-dead and out of MP on all chars, !Lance and White Wind from Bartz are surprisingly good at keeping people alive. Except when dealing with undead, because Lance is an absorbing attack... which is exactly where the problem came from last time.

Edit: Just got the first three new jobs. If you're after max stats, you'll have to master Oracle (Magic) and Gladiator (Strength) now. Back to the game...

Destroyed Neo Exdeath with minimal difficulty, never dropped below 1500 HP.

Level 45, all. Bartz had !Blue and !Blitzblade, Lenna was a Mime with White, Black, and Time. Krile had the typical cheap Freelancer w/ two swords (Chicken Knife and Man Eater), Spellblade, and Rapid Shot, and Faris had !Summon and !Combine.

I used Carbuncle to reflect multi-target Firagas at Exdeath, and even Neo-Exdeath. Flare Sworded Rapid Shots were all Krile did, Bartz was the healer (after setting up Mighty Guard), and Faris used Bahamut unless the reflects fell, in which case she set them back up.

And now certain characters keep dying in the bonus dungeon. I took a short time out to master Monk for Lenna, since she was having major HP issues (yay Movers! yay ABP Up!), but even then Gil Turtle (in the bonus dungeon) nearly wiped out my entire party with his end-battle Earthquake. Lenna was the only one left standing, and her HP was below 100... oof.

teach it Two-Handed and give it a Morningstar. That'd work better, since those work in the back row. If you're not far enough to have that, a Flail works.

Of course, giving it Black or Time Magic (Time when you have Comet) works better, but...

I don't think they exist in SMAS, and as far as I know there aren't many (if any) SMAS level hacks.

Edit: Also, asking for roms isn't allowed, but since you also said patches, I'm not gonna yell at you.

I remember you!

But you probably don't remember me, I was just a newbie when you were still here. And I had a different name, but I can't recall which I was using.

What amazes me though is that you're posting so soon after a Zelda game came out. I would've expected you to still be playing it.

Unless you were playing while posting...
