Grey is far from Shalandra at this point... He's been blown halfway across the arena, and is currently lying in a crater composed of hard, unforgiving marble and a good bit of his own body. As Shalandra surrounds herself with fireballs, Grey staggers to his feet, and begins to glow green again. He opens his mouth and yells loudly, screaming his aggressions into pure psychic focus. It's clear that he's charging up for something... Something BIG.

He danced out of the way of the fireballs, quoting Scotty D the entire time... "What we gotta do is build momentum. If you need the right tools, invent 'em." Another fireball whizzed by him as he twisted his hips to the side, keeping his focus the entire time. "Ride the wave of time, come feel the rhythm. The march to the future has begun, get with 'em." He swung his torso downward as another fireball flew over his head. It was then that the green glow that surrounded him intensified... "The brain is the generator of almighty power..." If Shalandra wasn't going to make a more intense move, then he'd have to step things up, apparently... "Either do it now, or your master plan goes sour!" The last of the fireballs passed by his rapidly-moving body, and it became a little more apparent as to what he was doing... ...He was staying positioned steadfastly on an area of five square marble tiles, each equally sized and shaped like a short, fat cross... And then suddenly he froze in place. The green glow flashed to an almost imperceptible point, going beyond the visible spectrum of the human eye and ranging into the impossible to see... Unless you had some kind of psychic perception, that is. "Almost... there..."

It only took a quick burst of telekinesis from Grey to hold the six swords in the air as Jack flew forward and out of their range. As soon as Jack had left their area, Grey released his hold on the swords, and met Jack's assault with his own degree of force, pulling a baseball bat from out of nowhere and swinging it at the oncoming skeletal warrior. Hard.

Not just one sidequest, like, you have to do a bunch of them in succession as they progress (moogle mail and the protect ring, anyone?). But unlike, say, the coffee mixes in FFIX, you should be able to pick them up at any time. Kinda like the final sidequests that you have to deal with in Chrono Trigger, before downing the Black Omen. Danielle: The twinkle star scares me, actually, because of the way it stares and smiles. I don't really like it, it kind of scares me a little bit. I do like the Twinkle Star scheme because of the background colors (it's like a more sophisticated version of Night), but Twinkle himself... No way. Thoughtless: I ain't backing Sony's excessive price or the 360's EXTREME HARDWARE GOGOGOGOOGOGOGOOGOGOGOGOGO movement, but I AM in favor of the Revolution so far simply because at the moment, it has yet to truly fuck up. 
Viva la Revolution? Awesome: Plastic. You can do everything with plastic. Including paper. 
Skyd00d: No, not really... You're in more or less good shape no matter what happens, if the roommate thing was just a joke. As for transportation, I would say the best bet would be the campus shuttle... It'd be nice for you two to ride together and not concentrate on anything but each other, something that you can't get with driving a car or riding bikes. What say you?

The most prevalent is the time I stayed up until 4 in the morning on tuesday to prepare for a speech I had to deliver the following day, only to realize that the speech wasn't due. Things just sorta snowballed from there.

He settled his horse and patted it on the nose gently, much preferring to walk than ride the train. Johnathan was actually a steam engineer before being hired by the Outset Ranch. He chose a quieter life because the developments that he had been researching for a steam engine had far outpaced those of the current times. He had speculated on alternative resources to coal and Magitek, even going to the possibility that one could literally fuel a simple steel engine on Rupees, due to a carbonized compound in their crystalline bodies. He presented the idea to a symposium of his peers, and was, well, needless to say, laughed out of the gathering. His work was genius, though. Johnathan knew it was. He still had some of his old blueprints lying around in his room on the Ranch... But obviously, it was going to be a very long time before he saved up the resources and manpower to build a prototype. As a result, Johnathan was not especially privy to trains. Knowing the business fairly well, he also knew that trains had a tendency to get robbed very often by certain daring adventurer bandit types. No, sir. Fighting bandits was not his style. Not anymore, anyway. "I am not particularly fond of these livestock cars, either. Shall we venture more towards the front of the train? Perhaps your presumption about the rest of our group is more fearfully correct than it seems..."
