It is bomberman, and it is for the Xbox 360. Looks like they are putting a more mature touch on bomberman and going away from the kiddie look. New features of the game are different battle modes as well as a realistic "life gauge". That is about as much as I was able to discern out of it short of looking up the characters I don't know.

Well, you just have to make it through calculus if you go to college... how is your math score? if it is past 500, then you are in good shape if you are looking for a non-engineering career

We already have an olympic thread...

but to address the american idol versus olympic ratings...the reason is not because people prefer american idol, but rather due to this thing called the Internet and the instant transmission of event results in less than 12 seconds versus 12 hours...

I'm sure you have tried updating the drivers for the network card. Otherwise, you could try an OS reinstall? But that would have suggested corrupt drivers in the first place.

Posted on 02-26-06 12:27 AM, in AMD or Intel? Link
The Pentium 3 is a 1990/2000 processor, while the AMD Sempron is a 2004 processor. Newer is better regardless of time

But if the times are the same, as in Pentium 4 and AMD Sempron, then you have a debate. I'd probably skip the AMD Sempron stage and go straight to the 2005 generation Athlon64. The latest generation of AMD CPUs are now dual core and are way too much money right now for most people. Unless you are a gamer, or do something that requires processing power regularly (graphics work, video rendering, etc), then an Athlon64 will be sufficient.

Intel is a name that has been around for ages but AMD is a company gradually eating away at Intel's market share with better chips. So, yeah, I vouch for an AMD power computer

Why do people always talk about AMD and Intel as though Intel was several orders of magnitude older, it's not.

AMD was formed during the 60's roughly ONE year after Intel was. They've both been around for the same amount of time.
Ages was a bad choice of words...however, Intel marketed and AMD didn't do it that much. Between AMD and Intel, who has more name recognition? It is Intel and it explains why they have so much of the market share. If it wasn't for Intel's ability to fabricate, AMD would have a much larger share of the CPU market than it already has right now.
