I want to say the backdrop of GMMWBG comes from Yoshi's Island. Somehow, that font looks like the Yoshi Story font I have and seeing as you mentioned in the readme, it comes from a sequel.
That's just a guess.

Also, custom songs in the arcade = awesome. I have got to remember to put THE IMPOSSIBLE SONG III on it and have someone else play with me.

Well, tomorrow I'm going to actually go to the arcade with the ITG 2 machine. I don't think it has a thumbdrive, though, seeing as it was previously a DDR machine.

I'm upset.

Today, I decided to go back to the Item World again, this time to level up a Dark Rosary.

I got to the Item Assembly and didn't get an attack upgrade. Oh well, I wasn't so upset.

What upset me was that instead of choosing "Give Up" I chose "Persuade by Force". Game over for me. Considering while there I was able to get 2 Dark Rosarys in a shop.

Well, I'm only in Chapter 8 and can easily die on the first level. I haven't gotten to the Cave of Ordeals yet, since I am unsure of what level I need to be. I still have some equipment from the beginning on, so I'm behind equipment wise. I haven't even reincarnated yet.

Yeah, I have a lot of work ahead of me...

Good news, guys.

The Marion County Public School System has found this board (not www.acmlm.org, though. ) unsuitable for school. They blocked this site, even though I am the only one to visit it in the entire county, probably.

Also, they banned anything to deal with Halo, Yahoo mail (I think), and all sites correlating to DDR.

...

MY COUNTY HAS REACHED A LOW LOWER THAN LOW!

Well, I come here, go to the DDR thread for updates, then head over to Bemanistyle to see what new simfiles are up. Halo wasn't by me, and Yahoo mail was blocked for being e-mail.

I'm complaining nevertheless. This is discrimination against me. I'm the only one to visit this board and as far as I know, all NSFW stuff is labeled and I don't go there. Plus, there is this one game that everyone plays in class that involves shooting Ailure cats out of a cannon, and as far as I can tell, that isn't blocked.

And yet, they haven't blocked Google Mail...

Too bad this is in Web and Digital Design that I surf the web at school.

I'm still complaining nevertheless. I'll mention that it is for my Dance Dance Revolution Club, and restricting access to the board and those sites makes my club harder to keep fresh. If I can't have more songs, I can't keep the club entertained, therefore I lose members's interests.

That should convince them. I convinced them to not block Freewebs...

No. They are too stupid for those filters. They blocked image search for Google as well, but not Advanced Image Search.

Still don't get why they haven't found that out yet.

I could have sworn it was less. Well, would it work on R2?

Yeah, that machine I played today sucked. Considering it was DDR pads, they weren't... well, good. Are DDR pads bigger than ITG mats, by the way? It seemed like that to me. I thought I was pressing the up arrow but instead I was pressing the top of the center. Maybe an indention difference...?
Best scores were Music Please Hard with a 93-ish (got 9th on the records) and Da Roots Expert with a 80-ish (no record). I couldn't do Disconnected Expert and Anubis Expert, even though I did very well until the 32nds (?) showed up on Anubis.
It was funny to watch a kid do Energizer Easy with a 3x mod on. XD The arrows went flying across the screen at 900 BPM. HAHAHAHA! I couldn't stop laughing.
Until a kid that was 10 years old (I think) do Remember December Hard with a 85%.

Oh well. To cheer myself up, I got an early birthday gift of DDR Supernova. I am impressed with it so far.

The songs that scare me the most so far: Xepher on Challenge and Healing D-Vision.

Hiryuu, The Impossible Song III is 1:53...
And I know it isn't hard, but the thing was... well, I can't do arcade mats apparently. I know I passed it pad before. I just couldn't do anything yesterday that I knew I could do.

Anyway, played a lot more of SuperNOVA. Yeah, Chaos is evil, but it isn't hard except for the many... many stops. Yeah, but I still like Xepher a lot as well as Moon, murmur twins, Red Zone, and many others.

Anyway, I have a few scores of Stepmania myself. All keyboard except the second. Would have more, but my StepMania likes to make every other screenshot blank for some reason...

Airwave-08 Challenge - Did this a little while ago. Don't remember beating this score...
One Winged Angel Challenge Pad - From Final Fantasy Minipack by the creator of the Albumix series. Hard to do on pad, for sure.
Sakuranbo Kiss Challenge
I Am Maid Heavy
QQQ Challenge - So close to FCing it.
Vio Challenge
Riviera Battle Theme Challenge
20031023 Heavy
Exciting Hyper Highspeed Star Heavy - I FC'd this sucker.

Well, that is how Stepmania determines Long and Marathon files. I don't think it was a glitch, its just how they wanted it to work. If the user isn't going to use a full song, the user should know to cut it. And if the user adds steps to a song when the song is over, it just seems wrong.

How much more rediculous would you look playing notes without a song?

Anyway, didn't do any DDR today. Went to Disney's Magic Kingdom.

They had a free game of Daytona USA going and one of the staff told me to participate. I was more than willing to, but another staff member wasn't paying attention and I didn't get to play. Disappointed, I walked off and went to the Dancing Stage feat. Disney Rave and put in money. Realizing that it didn't have hard difficulties or hard songs (or recognizable songs, for that matter) I was about to walk off when the guy who said I could get a free game of Daytona came over and apologized, stating that I could choose any game I wanted and give me a free round. I chose... uh... Pump It Up Exceed 2.

Now, he was nice enough letting me play one game free, however he gave me 6 rounds of Pump It Up, FREE OF CHARGE! That's a total of 18 songs if I played 3 songs each difficulty myself. I usually complain about PIU, but after playing it and getting the hang of it, I actually... enjoyed it. I did 3 rounds by myself and then my sister joined me for another. I got the Bonus Stage twice, so I got the hang of Normal at least. I had a crowd watching me and all I could think was "You think this is good?" The crowd that stayed the final time of play got to use my free credit I had left.

...yeah. New dancing game for me!

What? Kmart has to sell it at the advertised price. They can't sell it for more. If that was the case, I would have spent more on my DS on the first day it came out since I got it at Target. That is what you would call "price gouging".

If you have to get rid of games you don't like, don't do this deal. Don't.
He is ripping you off. Even if he has the Wii payed off, you have the 250 dollars to buy it full yourself and you can do whatever you want with the games, such as trade them in yourself, which is what he would probably do with them...

Double post, but meh.

Today during my club I actually passed Xepher Challenge. I think it was a B or C, I can't recall, but I do remember I had 217 or so Greats and 204 Perfects or something along the lines of that. Not bad for my first time completing it on that difficulty. It just... was harder to do at school since the mat did not like hardfloors. It responds better on carpet but moves too much. It won't move on hardfloors but it doesn't respond well.

Kind of... a double-edged sword... except with a pad...

Completed Xepher challenge twice today. I HAVE IT DOWN!
Plus I got the lyrics to it, and all I can say is is that it is one of the more... darker toned DDR songs I've seen...

And holy fucking shit, indeed.

There goes Anubis Expert style charts, then...

MAX 300 on soft is probably one of the easier Max's to do on soft pad. I passed it a while ago on an older soft mat (which completley died today after only 4 months of torture). I still haven't been able to do Maxx Unlimited on my soft pad, but if I can complete Xepher challenge a lot more often now, I should give that a try. The gallops should be easy now.

And people on BMS are complaining about the fate of ITG. They don't know what is going to happen, but if things do go well, then... well, we could possibly see some DDR songs have ITG Expert charts on ITG.
Hey, its a possibility.

Pretty sure that was them drawing over every frame.

Well, if that's what they did, then I guess you would have to try to use the pen tool (if Gimp has it) and use layers to get the effect you want.

I could easily make some simple cell shading effects using Photoshop's blending options, but I doubt Gimp gives you that power...

EDIT: This ITG thing gets very dramatic. Now nobody is sure what is going to happen...

Still like Xepher Challenge. Everytime I do it I pass with a B, so I've got the steps. Now, to try Chaos.
