Seeing how I'm no geek/nerd, I can easily go multiple days with no PC. I don't need a PC. It's just a nice way to keep in touch with the rest of the world.

I dunno, a bill to "protect children from pornography" was recently passed, which could lead to further censorship. And, if you didn't know, the U.S. already blocks "terrorist websites" such as Al-Jazeera.com

No hypen, Wurl.

I see this site fine (and laugh at their use of a radio button when there's only one item to select), but...

At least Al-Qaeda site is still censored.

I don't know what to make of this. The logo says "hacked, tracked and 0wned by the USA", there's a lot of text, and after about 10 seconds it redirects me to some other site.

Read the text, that guy named "Jon" noticed that the contact information with wich the site was registered was not real, so he mailed the whoever hosted that site and got it kicked offline, then he re-registered that site under his contact information.

Posted on 05-24-06 04:10 PM, in PC has gotten much slower for unknown reasons Link
My complete specs can be seen here: http://www.ghetto-underground.com/coby/EasyInfo.html

So, what this is about:
When I first got my computer and set it all up it used to be super fast. I would be logged into MSN before the rest of the programs would be loaded at startup. Like *Clicks username ... BLING *. And now, one year later, I have to wait atleast 2 minutes before the ethernet modem is done doing stuff with Windows, because it just won't do anything else. (You'll see two computer screens blinking for a time, then when it's done they disappear and Windows continues loading the rest)

Also, just now, to open lololol it took about one minute just to open it.
I still have plenty of HDD space left, always atleast 500 MB of free RAM and my setup should be powerful enough. I mean it USED to be fast.

So, does anyone have any idea what could cause this? I'm scanning with AVG right now but I don't suspect a virus. Seeing how I always have 2 anti virus programs running (AVG and Avast).

Ok, I'll first try to defrag and if that doesn't work I re-install. Luckily I've got all the necessary files on other partitions anyway so backing-up shouldn't take too long. Thanks all!

That's why it's called a "one-night stand". It only lasts one night. It's not that hard to comprehend :o

I wouldn't recommend Java, seeing how applications coded in Java tend to be memory intensive + slow.

Yeah, well, I call a drug dealer someone who deals illegal substances (and coffee is not an illegal substance :p). I know a lot of people who deal, from weed to xtc, speed, coke, around here you can get whatever your heart (or addiction) desires.

That reminds me of back of when me and some friends mixed Orange Juice, Cola and milk. You'd get a light grey-ish milk-like drink of gag-reflex invoking brew. We then flushed it down the gutter.

I used to eat ants when I was younger but I don't really go homicidal on ants. I find ants very fascinating creatures and I'm all like "Live and let live-as long as it doesn't bother me". And ants don't bother me. But yeah, if you have this huge colony in your house I can understand that you'd rather get rid of them.

Not at all. It was more like me being "come on!". :p
But I did have to be gentle and such, seeing how she was a virgin too. Took some time before it was all stretched out and I could fit it all in. No other-planet experiences though. Just like masturbating but then with more warmth and fluids :p

Posted on 07-15-06 09:05 PM, in Political pedophile party Link
In the Netherlands there are people who want to start a political party that wants to lower the sex age to 12 years, allow child pornography and allows to have sex with animals.
I find this very wrong. I read in the newspaper that they said "It's not wrong, if people see it more often they'll get used to it".

What are your feelings about this? Do you agree that if people see it more often and get used to it that it won't be bad thing anymore? Or do you feel that such people should be shot? Discuss.

(Oh and this is in General because of the larger activity)

Oh well, and no more talk of public lynching. Lynching is bad, you shouldn't lynch.

It's a Dutch site, but you can run it through a translator if you like. It seems like party has been set up already too :o

Edit:
"Andere thema's in het partijprogramma zijn onder meer: afschaffing van het kabinet en de Eerste Kamer, de gekozen premier, legalisatie van soft- en harddrugs en naaktloperij en levenslange gevangenisstraf bij een tweede veroordeling voor moord."
You can find that on the website I gave you, it means as much as that there are other things they want to realise and they are "Removel of the first room, the elected premier, legalisation of soft- and hard drugs and life long prison for anyone who gets convicted for murder twice."
Their official website is NVD.nu (Naastenliefde, vrijheid en diversiteit = Love for those around you, freedom and diversity) but is not yet up.
