Not much of a stripper scene. I'm actually rather surprised they bothered to censor that in the GBA one--in the SNES one, they just made the dancer always be in the swimmer clothes, so it's kinda weird that they made her always wear a dress in the GBA one.

Knowing how stupid they are, do they wind up redoing the assignments the same way again? If so, can they repeat AGAIN?

20th is respectable. Although, if you managed to place today, you would be able to go up at least a few places.

Nice. Agreed.

I actually rather dislike things that SOUND like my alarm clock. I rather like my own one, since I couldn't wake up without it, but... other things with similar sounds seriously disturb me.

A lot of things dealing with celebs really bother me, too. I don't CARE what's going on with them, it's NOT news.

Just a curious question, what happened on 15?

Well... things like Nocash are typically sold to developers, which is a slightly more profitable market. They're the ones who are actually planning on making money, so they're more likely to put it down to begin with. It's actually not too bad a strategy; the debugger in No$Gmb seemed rather full-featured, at least.

You'd be surprised how strong the idiot factor is. You give a bunch of people CDs that say "TRY THE INTERNET TODAY", and at least a few of them will fall for it. They're the ones who get easily lured in; they're sheep, but they have money. And that money is what AOL thrives on.

That, and the overprotective parents. The ones who fall for the whole "Making the internet safe for your kids" thing.

I think being face-humped by the Redeads in Zelda qualifies for this QUITE well, thank you very much. I think there was something else, but I don't remember what it is...

You DO know that at least a decent number of games will work with regular controllers, right? Brawl definitely will, at least.

Does anyone know exactly how the remote works? It may not actually have so many moving parts... If anything, I'd be more concerned about the wire ripping out from the nunchaku (analog stick) component.

Considering how flakey he seemed to be in general, I wouldn't be too shocked if he wasn't paying attention, looked up, saw a penis, and immediately thought the guy was masturbating. Hell... it could've been a routine physical, for all we know.

My stance is still that it depends on the exact content of the video and the information in it. There was a permission slip (which the topic creator lied about to his parents), so that part was okay.

That looks REALLY nice. Having full stat screens for the equipment screen seems like something that should have always been there... Curious, though, why is the leftmost one so much different from the rest? Just a different version?

I'd personally suggest changing the wording on the jump instructions. Say something like "To jump, press up on the keyboard. Holding the button longer will make you jump higher." Seems a bit less awkward to me, but it's a matter of personal preference.

Looks interesting so far. Perhaps the lava should be red instead of yellow, though.

They seem to have different formatting for the stats display. Any reason for it?

I definitely registered before 3/14/04, since that's when I rejoined after the board's incarnation 2 before this one exploded. So... yeah. Not quite sure how much good that does, but that's okay.

Thunderstorms tend to force me to get off the computer. For that, I despise them.

Also, they frighten my poor kitty, who then has to hide under the bed. Poor kitty...

I wonder exactly what it is that makes this particular case of collateral damage so much more relevant than any other one.

At any rate, I definitely think that (assuming the warning was in fact given) the soldiers were right in this case. A lot of violence occurs over there, and a speeding car is probably one of the more significant indicators that it could happen. The failure to listen to orders only compounds it.

It is a bit of a catch-22, though. Fire on the car and risk killing innocents... or let it go and risk dying along with other innocents.
