Eh, I give them two points for originality and straight-faced presentation, but negative three for still not being that funny.

I'm not really that outraged though. It's just a stupid joke.

I haven't seen all the Star Wars movies, so I'm wondering, do they ever explain why Yoda talks like an idiot?

If you want to seem emo, you have to get a weird bob haircut, talk in an odd high pitched voice, and say things like "I love going down to the schoolyard to watch all the little children jump up and down and scream...'cause they don't know I'm using blanks.".

It also helps to play a clumsy shop teacher.

I actually had two Wiis for a while. I signed up for a service that monitors online retailers and alerts you as soon as they add stock. Twenty minutes after I signed up I go an alert for a bundle at Walmart.com, I bought it but later changed my mind and canceled it because I wasn't that interested in the games that were bundled with it.

A few days later I got one as Christmas gift from a friend who had went into Wal-Mart looking for one just when they got an order in. Then a few days after that a Wii came in the mail. I checked walmart.com, and for some reason only the games had canceled and they had still sent the Wii. So I called them up and they said that if I brought it into the store they would refund my purchase price and shipping (although I had to argue with the store manager on the second point).

I still get several alerts a day from that monitoring service.

I got the Wii so I could play first party Nintendo games. The motion sensor controller isn't a that big of a deal to me, I'd actually rather just sit still to play a game.

Also, I don't even use the wrist strap. Just seems silly.

I have a simple method for population control:

We start a world-wide organization for like-minded people who would want to take proactive steps to immediately reduce the world population. Then they can all come together at some kind of convention to where they can discuss methods of doing so. Then, while they're all together in one place, we kill them all.

There's a large chunk of the population, right there.

I have. But it's still just a joke.

But as far a bad taste jokes go, this is the same message board I saw Hulk Hogan tearing down the Twin Towers. Everybody thought that was hilarious. I didn't, I thought it was stupid. But I wasn't outraged by that either. It was also just a stupid joke.

Overpopulation is a load of crap. We could all fit in Texas.

And there's plenty of food to go around, its just poorly distributed.

This board always makes me lol

The land becomes contaminated or unable to support life due to poorly regulated industry and agriculture. Farming leaches nutrients from the soil, but proper crop rotation puts it back. The soil only becomes contaminated when use of harsh fertilizers and pesticides isn't controlled, or when industrial waste isn't properly disposed of.

Disease isn't caused by over population, it's caused by lack of decent sanitation, lack of awareness, and poor distribution of medication.

Blaming overpopulation is always an oversimplification that avoids the real issues.

I guess we could be taking turns, but I normally just find that annoying and would rather they just play by themselves, in which case they wouldn't be watching how I hold the controller.

Then again, I don't really know anyone with the right combination of poor grip and lack of common sense that they could actually break something with a game controller. And if I did I wouldn't let them anywhere near my stuff.

I was really hoping for a "Least likely to get any votes" category. I'm a shoo-in.

Also, what's the deal with the "Most Likely" category? Most likely what?

I wouldn't worry about what little happened in the 4 years between 12 and 16. At that age you really have little say in the big changes in life, and take it from someone who knows, when you no say in the changes, they're rarely good. You should consider yourself lucky.

As far as the focus and memory issues go, you likely have ADD.

115 lb at 5'8" isn't that bad. If you're already eating decent, and your body naturally stays at that weight, then it would probably be unhealthy to try to force the weight on by binging or something.

And just to add myself to the list of underweight tall people, I'm six feet even, and weigh 126 lb. But I really don't eat enough. My body got trained on not having a lot of food over the years, so now I rarely have much of an appetite. On the upside, it puts the muscles close to the surface, so I get to have a six-pack just from going to work every day. I guess it doesn't matter though, since I don't take off my shirt.

Christianity and Scientology are both just religions. The issue isn't with Scientology itself, but with the Church of Scientology.

However, since the vast majority of Scientologists belong to the Church. The two are rather inseparable. So any issues with the church tends to be taken on by the religion itself. Christians, on the other hand, are spread out over thousands of individual flocks, among several divisions, broken into subdivisions and denominations.

So yeah, on the surface they're similar. They're both religions. But most people's complaints aren't with the tenets of Scientology itself (except maybe the no psychiatry thing), but with the church that runs it. So the two can't really be compared.

Although society obviously plays a large role, it most likely also instinctual. What causes a species to prosper, instead of fail is its ability to produce offspring. The male of the of the species can go on producing offspring (or at least getting the process started) everyday of the week, while the female on the other hand will be out of the game for a while. So it doesn't come as to much of a surprise that its more accepted in most societies for men to be promiscuous.

It seems to me that it is strongly probable that the universe was created by someone or something - after all, we know that the universe was created from nothing percievable, but this runs contrary to logic. There is empirical evidence that Jesus existed, and was a good man. There is nothing about Christianity that is in and of itself impossible, and though much of the beliefs are unlikely, and much of the bible is just christian (or, in the old testament, jewish) myth, the core of the religion is not innately wrong. Much of what people have against Christianity is attributable solely to the Roman Catholic church.

Beyond everything wrong about Scientology that has been previously said. Beyond the immensely improbably story of the creation of our life told in it. It is distinctly wrong. In scientology writing, an evolutionary link between other primates and man is mentioned as fact. Trouble is, this link, the name of which I cannot remember, was proven a hoax within a very short period of time after the first writings on Scientology were published. This is perhaps the most striking flaw, but not the only, and I am confident that if you did further research you would see more.

Yes, it is true that much of what is in the bible is false, but this is attributable to the inclusion of mythology in additions to the writings of the time of Jesus. Lol, old testament. But despite this, much of what is in the bible is proven fact, while scientology is easily likened to made-up bullshit, but... Beyond everything else, Christianity's core cannot be proven wrong, but Scientology's core most definitely, beyond a shadow of a doubt can... And, going beyond the corruption behind each, that is the difference between Christianity and Scientology.

At the risk of entering a religious debate (I hate those), I have to say, you're way off base.

First of all, the Old Testament is a large part of the Christian faith. Although most Christians choose to not take every part of it literally, few reject it wholesale. So if all it takes to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that a religion is wrong is some reference to an evolution hoax, well Christianity doesn't stand a chance.

But it really makes no sense to try to conclusively disprove someone. No matter what your argument is, they'll always be able to make a counter-argument that keeps open the possibility they're right. That's why, if it was a scientific debate (which it isn't, which is why this is so dumb, anyway), the burden of proof would be on them.

So, even though some of the beliefs of Scientologists, may be, I don't know "stupid beyond belief" comes to mind, they are still no more provable or disprovable then many Christian beliefs. But this is all still religion, so I don't see what proof has to do with it one way or the other.
