If I had to guess, from the beginning, the only posts in the approval forum were meant to be such:
1. The person trying to be approved, their appeal and their bumps as necessary;
2. Any member of administration and their opinion on said applicant, including perhaps a denied message or approved message; or
3. A person outside of administration with prior knowledge of the applicant trying to appeal on their behalf.
Anything else is extraneous and can be stopped. Regular members coming in to a topic and saying "Sounds good to me" doesn't help out, because any mod could easily see the same as a regular user could, except regular users don't have the power to approve nor do they have to keep forums clean. This is all in my opinion, but it is how I see the forum working out the best, and keeping BMF irritant-free when approving new applicants.
