It just kinda happens occasionally. No real explanation...

How do you think I went from a combined total (over the 3 boards) of around 200 to a total of 500-something on this board alone in less than a month? I don't know.

You know, I couldn't notice the difference in background colors until just a little while ago... It's still an interesting layout, but I think I actually like the female-Xk one a bit better.

Okay, how I went from the small total to the large total without being eaten by a mod/admin.

Okay, I know the next answer's going to be "subtle spam".

I think I should stop asking stupid rhetorical questions. No good ever comes from them.

I'd suggest something about content being more significant than timing, but I don't think it'd make much difference, one way or the other. Of course, I kinda have to wonder exactly how much worse I'd have to be before I get smacked hard, if I'm really that bad to begin with.

(Woo! Two lines instead of one! Of course, that's still one rather nasty run-on sentence, but I find that to be insignificant in the grand scheme of things.)

Also, I find that last post to be filled with nonsensical-ness.

I think that calling people who continually make stupid choices "stupid people" is perfectly fair. If someone has a habit of making actions that have a certain trait, would it not work to say that they have that trait? For instance, one who constantly makes hasty decisions would be a hasty person, one who makes cautious decisions would be a cautious person, etc.

Well... Umm... Shyguy WAS banned for a little while... does that count?

(Hmm... so far, Shyguy, Thoughtless, Danielle, and me... 1/3 odds, since Danielle probably wouldn't be. I don't feel so lucky.)

Well... it's good to have done that, at least. I don't use ICQ, but it looks rather useful.

As for the whole "flaming a moderator" thing... I don't think I want to get involved with it. Although "besaid" is in fact not a word. Said would probably have been appropriate, as well.

(Blackhole's a mod. He's not an admin; he has no control over people's layouts. I think you're pointing fingers at the wrong guy.)

EDIT: Layouts, not profiles. Oops.

Doesn't the name show up at the top for who had birthdays any given day? I'd think having not one but two accounts (Kyouji/Alastor) listed there would kinda clue people in.

I don't think the point is how good the hack is by community standards. Typically the major thing is just that it's interesting and custom-made and personalized.

For instance, would you like it if your girl/boyfriend picked apart whatever gift you gave them for some arbitrary reason that's unrelated to the reason you gave them the gift?

It's a mildly interesting article. And Bio, you should be WELL aware that people will make that kind of slip unintentionally.

The concern is typically not that people are going to go to your house and beat you up. The concern is typically about people in general knowing things that have no legitimate use to them. The more information that is in the hands of potentially unscrupulous people, the more they can do to you.

Often enough, the risk isn't as big as people think, but I still prefer not to let too many people know things that can directly link to me. I don't even really think it's justified, I just don't like people knowing too much about me unless I know them personally.

Of course, I still mainly keep that kind of information to what would be useful for people in ways I'd want it to be useful.

That looks pretty nice... while the green/brown combination is weird to think about, it still looks rather nice. Looks rather rusty to me, whether that was the intent or not. One small question, though... what's the green thing by the right hand door?

It may be that a lot of them don't come in this forum too often.

SB5 is LOADS of fun multiplayer, especially the gold cart. Of course, you can unlock all of the extra multiplayer levels from that one in the regular, so it doesn't matter so much, but... Still. It's awesome.

And if people would just pay attention to what they were doing and follow instructions there would be way less irritation all around. You know how many topics end up with the original creator going "whoops!" just b/c they were an idiot and didn't put some exgfx file in the right place. And they aren't an idiot for making that mistake, they're an idiot for making a thread about it and wasting people's time. I do stupid things all the time but I absolutely try to work it out before I ask for help. People in the SMW hacking forum basically make no effort as far as I can tell. They want everything to be as easy as pi. It doesn't help that many of the users can barely type legible English sentences and refuse to explain their exact problem in detail anyways.

no no no no no.
That isn't what I mean at all. Some faqs are not even there any more like the ExGFX workshop thread. What if someone needs help with ExGFX? because that person is new to hacking they aren't suppose to know? What if they didn't understand something in the FAQS they should not ask someone? I'm not supporting the crap that HAS been happening lately. *Same person posting the same thread over and over while just changing the name and pretending since the last thread got closed it never existed* What i'm trying to say is you don't have to put there confidence down for wanting help the FAQS didn't cover much on.

BTW the details part I believe posting a screenshot of there work would solve that.

There is a distinct difference between poorly-worded, poorly thought-out questions, which won't get answered, and those which are not considered bad. The problem is with the wording of the question, NOT the forum.

Basically, if you ask a question and it gets locked, look CLOSELY at the FAQs, look at the locked topic, and see what you can change. Here's a hint: If the locked topic has no more than "HOW DO I DO (x)", odds are that it's ENTIRELY wrong. You have to have shown an attempt on your own to find out what's going on. Read the FAQs, look around on the forums, hell, look at other people's hacks and see what they did. Lunar Magic is VERY user friendly.

Somewhat figured it was an enemy. I'm guessing it's a Zoomer/Geemer? Definitely an odd graphic, but it seems like it'd look alright in motion.

The plane ride thing sounds scary. Nothing quite like finding out that the seat you bought didn't exist... And the odd power supply thing always gives you such a good feeling about the ride.

Okay, I'm going to be stupid, but what does sumimasen mean?
