After disassembling the rest of the unit, that particular part can be pryed open and snapped on, it appears. A GBA SP scren is also a much smaller resolution and probably cannot support the color depth that the DS has (think attaching a Gameboy Pocket screen to a Gameboy Color, it just wouldn't work). You'll need to find an actual replacement part.

Excuse my bluntness, but what the hell is that supposed to mean? Honestly

drjay, I would agree that it dosn't seem very necessary at all. If you're friends with someone, you're friends with them. I can understand that it might feel akward for her, however, especially since the breakup was mutual, it dosnt seem like theres any good reason for you two not to be friends. People work weird and handle things differently. Go figure..

All GB games (and in fact, I want to say all battery backed up Nintendo games but I'm not 100%) use a 3V lithium cell battery. You can probably buy that anywhere that sells batteries as for what those ports do, honestly, I wouldn't know, though I can open up my unit in a bit and take a look at what it might do. Can't garuntee I'll find any thing..

Hooooow....would that even be possible? Someone pointed out some health risks, but brain cancer?

While your non-functional code is evident of the fact that you probably dont really know what you're doing, it at least elps that you TRY to gain an understanding and figure out how to do things. If you give up just because something "sounds too hard", you won't ever learn. If you stay doing only "easy" things you'll never get any better.

Well its a sort of IDE/Development libraries. Its also oooold (I was playing with this some years ago) so it probably won't streamline anything new all of a sudden.

Actualy its been mentioned a few times before, I figured it out myself a little while ago. I think it was interdpth who made a charmap for the advanced games.

I hate that font and the lovely text structure HyperMackerel pointed out also makes me wonder what's so wonderful about this. The rest of it dosn't seem horrible buuut I'll have to try the patch. The font is really going to kill my enjoyment of this though.

Why, WHY, would anyone use that when you can just hack the game a regular way. Also, having "Person: bla blah" is not how its done in Pokemon or in most games, it never says the person's name who is talking it just looks...bad.

You can't use the code as an individual program, as the code is specially programmed for the processors those games' consoles use. This is why we have emulators to play those games, as it emulates the functions of those processors among other things. In short, you won't be able to do that.

Isn't that only for graphics though? Or perhaps I'm missing something..

I work at a restaurant (used to work at two until my shifts interfered with one another and I had to drop one) waiting tables. I'd rather cook, but you know, they won't trust a kid back there D= I get okay pay but thats because I work the hours no one else really wants to and I get tips too..but, its hard work.

But the text boxes are so small in Pokemon for it to have, say "Old guy: I sure love to battle!", "Youngster: RATATA is purple!", or "Gym Leader: You're going down!" and stuff...it just looks wrong in such a small space. Maybe I'd like it better if that font wasn't so scaring. If there was a dialogue exchange I agree it would be needed. Though I've yet to see something like that done effectively..(in fact a lot of games I see have the first character completely silent, Golden Sun comes to mind)
