| All Ark could manage was a raspy, throaty voice. The sounded like it was costing him some blood.
"Don't worry Lily... I'll be fine..." With that, Ark started to drift between dreams and reality. He wasn't sure of what happened, what he was really seeing, or what was really going on. The only thing that was anchoring him to being awake, was the spear in his hand, the light inside dancing happily, even in the slow morning light. |

| Ark coughed and blood spilled onto the ground. His senses sharpened wildly. He could hear and see things that were far away. He could feel everything around him, he felt like he had the energy of a god, but was forced to watch and wait instead of act.
Lily: "...C'mon! I need a Ressurection spell!" Ark heard it, the desperation in it, everything. Lily: "I'm sorry.. I couldn't..." Ark heard the sadness, he could feel it travel through his body. "Don't you want to die? To have everything end?" "...No..." "I thought you wanted to sleep forever. To end all your lives, do you wish for something different now? I thought you wanted to stop serving and just rest." "...No... not right now..." "What if you were helpless, what if it is your time to die?" "I don't want to die... Not yet... I can't die right now... Lily would be sad... She would suffer the hardships that face this world... I don't want normal people to face that hardship alone..." Ark knew this feeling, he'd once died before, it was just like this... but he didn't want to die... just like that last time, he refused to die... He air enter his lungs and the earth under him. His arm tensed and he leaned on it. "Sigmund... you're a bastard... you could've called for help and made this easier..." Ark rolled over on his back and looked into the sky. His wounds were rapidly healing now. He would be fine in a few minutes. |

Ark was on his feet, and wasn't looking like he was about to fall over. "If I can stand I can walk, and if I can walk, I can run... but where are we supposed to go?" Ark said as he rummaged through some of the clothes. He would never take his cloak off, it was a gift from a long time ago. Even if it was shredded, he would keep it. Some of the clothes didn't look so great though. Leather pants and a leather shirt, boxers, weird hats. Ark eventually just picked out a new light brownish shirt and took off his and put it on. His pants were that badly damaged, only the bottoms were frayed. "You have horrible taste in guys clothes." |

Ark was kidding of course, but as he looked around, he noticed a few... rather cruel dealings. He thought he even saw what looked like a slave market in the back ground. "I wish I had more time to waste..." |

| Ark was more concerned about a black cat he saw hanging around the doorway of the house they were at then what Lily and Arminas were talking about. He walked over towards the cat, but the cat didn't run away.
"You... know something..." The cat could see it all, it saw Cassandra and all her pain. It looked at Ark for a second, then looked back into the house. Ark entered the house, not sure what he would really find. |

| Ark just looked at Cassandra, he could feel the darkness she felt. It was like death. Ark's spear started to glow on his back and he held it in his hand.
"It helped me... maybe it'll help her." Ark grabbed one of Cassandra's hands and opened it, he put the spear in it and closed her hand. "Wake up." Ark knew Lily and Arminas couldn't hear him right now, but he thought Cassandra could. "Wake up. Don't listen. Just wake up." |
