This will give you plenty of knowledge on FF1. Also, there was a thread created on an older Acmlm's board, http://board.acmlm.org/archive/thread.php?id=1199, that you should take a look at for other info. |

| In SMB1, Jacobthehero, the only two differences between Mario and Luigi are the pallet of the sprites, the text in the upper right hand corner, and the text in the castles by the toads or the princess at the end...nothing else.

After all...doesn't "antigravity" show how objects repel rather than just "floating"? That's just my guess. |

I agree with bejor. There are hundreds of smb1 hacks, but only 10 (if that  ) smb2 hacks.
Also, most people don't like starting with FF1 since most of the time people will probably want a brand new story, not just a few new monsters to fight. Most of the time, most people don't have hours on end to play and analyze most advanced rom hacks, which usually aren't SMB1...I think. SMB1 is also a good way to start off showing your skills. icegoom and his "bowser vs wario" hack is the only one i know that he made so far... |

| Hello, everyone. I am creating this thread for demo and abandoned rom hacks that are rare on the internet (because most sites have erased them). Most hacks have demos before the final release, and it would be fun to see what was taken out of the game before the final release (if anything was taken out).
One game in particular is Mario Adventure. I know there's a total of 6 demos, and I was hoping if anyone out there had 1, some, or all of them. Also, I'm not sure where you can upload them...but hopefully a server of some kind will be provided. So please post demos of released rom hacks or unfinished hacks that are abandoned. Thanks! |

| It looks really nice...however, it would be a bit better if you could make mario a little bit taller than what he is. Hedgehogs taller than the average adult looks strange .
...But, if it's too difficult to stretch the mario tiles, then nevermind. Keep up the good work! |

| I don't think it's wise to use solar panels to give your home electricity. It is economical, but if everyone had these, it would cost far too much to repair, especially in the urban settings.

| As far as I know, DahrkDaiz has/had 5 major projects going on:
Luigi vs. Mario (3 public demos, not finished) Mario Adventure (smb3 hack, finished with plenty of demos that are practically gone) Mario Seasons (smb1 hack, in progress w/ demo) Pac-Man 3 (Ms. Pac-Man Namco(?) hack, 1 final release) Super Mario R (smb1 hack, finished) OK, since I'm not allowed to post links to ROMs on this board, I'd suggest that you look for these yourself, drumgamer101, if you haven't already found them. The patch for Mario Adventure, as Dan said, is on Zophar's Domain, however, you will need a patching tool and the original ROM of SMB3 to play it. You can get Lunar IPS, a windows patching utility, from Zophar as well. Luigi vs. Mario does not have a final release yet, but only demo #3 is available on a thread on this board. Hmm...It's interesting that you were able to find all that information, insectduel  .
But...how do you plan on prosecuting someone who does "steal" your information? There's no need to be scared that your findings will be "stolen", if they ever are. Meh, I can see this thread ending soon . |
