Actually, I had one idea, but I can't get it work right, cause my PC sucks, so...

I would like to see either Megaman 1 or Legend of Zelda hack (because those are the only games I feel aplicable) to make the game much more like Metal Gear. The first one, and I mean the MSX version, NOT the NES. I say Legend of Zelda for the plausability of the feel of it. X/Y axis. Next is Megaman, because I feel that, with some sprite editing, it could make an outstanding MGS, but I could imagine it a lot better on an individual basis, with a set order rather than a level select... Oddly.

Anyways, yeah. I can help anyone who needs with story/level selection.

BLAST YOU SHADIC! ...el oh el, jay kay, jay kay.

Anyhow. So, right. Ladies and Gentlemen and Drewseph, I will be starting work for a hack for FF1 and I was curious when Hex editor works best for FF's DTE table editing, so if someone would like to make suggestions, start now!

There is a room very close to there where, if I remember right, there are a few water zoomers. There are two platforms in the room that you would have previously jumped over and never messed with. Here, you need to tuck and roll under both for a jump puzzle. Hip hip hurrah.

Yeah. It's mostly that I just don't remember anymore. It's been a little while since I finished, and that particular detail is one I finished earlier than I was supposed to. I took care of all the guardians I could before Ridley and the Torizo God, so I only had about two, maybe three left to find.

Look at the surroundings, and take them in for detail. If you look around very carefully, you'll notice that each place has a little differance from the last. Or most do. But you'll find your way through.

There are only seven screens.

That depends. If it's a replica of Halo to the letter, story and all, then yes, keep.

If it's a new story, change those words to something else.

In regards of highest health? Lowest health? Quickest time?

I doubt many of us have bothered timing that excursion. Lowest HP, I was down to [00][00][00]01.

Someone earlier, way earlier, said that it was extremely difficult with only the two tanks available. THEY DIDN'T KNOW THERE WAS A THIRD! So, I suppose highest health is technically [00][00][100]??, probably less than 05, I would imagine. But that person has the best record to date.

...ow...

What I meant was that out of 399 health, I often made it with less than 10 health, many times with 1. Though one person in this thread stated they beat it with only 299.

That room - You have about 2 seconds to get across before the block crumbles. It's the ease of cheese.

Wave beam - East Norfair. You're not far from it if I remember. It's actually fairly easy to see.
