I'm not an artist even for simple things or anything so I can't help, but I can say that it sounds like it'd be real simple fun... One thing though... would you ever think about allowing something that changes the downloading of games for me from a maybe to a YES: Customizable characters(either graphics/name on VS screens/whatever and movesets from existing characters or just graphic sets ontop of existing ones?) While the selection of characters is, well, the ultimate supposedly, it'd probably be good to have a flexable character format anyway(IE characters using the same basic melee style attack code), and a net capable game with customizable characters(either sent to all users or just giving others your files) turns a game like this from awesome to super ultra awesome.
Basically, it sounds awesome, sorry I can't help with graphics any, and if character graphics(and maybe moveset)creation is allowed I would consider the game at godly status. |

Originally posted by The Red Snifit The Ice Climbers were in a game that was MEANT as both fan service, and to help bring back some old games and characters people may not know. Mr. Game and Watch is basically their way of honoring what eventually became both the NES and the Gameboy. ROB was a gimmick but a working one back in the NES days, without it there may not of been a Nintendo. It's been appearing in several games as a cameo before it became a secret playable character anyway. I also believe you mean FAMICOM, AKA the japanese NES... |

I believe that the SFX also allowed the game to rotate sprites at will, do the fancy 3D blocks, and possibly just plain allow better processing...

From what I remember from the apparent single video, it plays like Kirby Super Star with 3D graphics, you have the ability to ride on helpers, creating a possible four person stackup, and Kirby riding on certain ones seems to activate a Wheelie Rider style ability, as seen in one screen where he's on the new bird enemy yet has the same cap as the Wheelie Rider screenshot(and original.)

I used to be in the Story Forum quite some time ago, but I never could catch up with everyone, and I was also... well, quite stupider back then. Now that it's.... now, all the stories with people like Kirbynite are already started and I doubt I could catch up all the same. Same for the sim battle forum, except that I just forget about anything I start in.
On the topic of Habbo Hotel, I used to try and listen in on conversations, till someone noticed me and I paniced. Yeah, I'm a smoothy spy type guy... |

If I remember right the game is made by the Wind Waker team, not the Capcom/Flagship team who were behind the LttP port and Minish Cap.
List of games that use the Wind Waker style. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (3D) The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and Four Swords (2D) The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures (2D) Navi/Tetra's Trackers (3D/2D) The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap (2D) The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (3D) Well... that is kind of alot, though only two(now three) of them were 3D, and apparently in the Wind Waker timeline. Here it is grouped into groups. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (3D) Navi/Tetra's Trackers (3D/2D) The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (3D) The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and Four Swords (2D) The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures (2D) The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap (2D) |

I hoped the costumes were stored online and actually downloaded, thus meaning endless amounts of visual content such as costumes... oh well.

Would the game happen to be a port/remake of a NES game? Perhaps they based it off of how Super Mario All Stars did it, and left some graphics in by mistake?

I am far from an expert, but are you sure there's no noise? Put your ear to the tray area and listen to see if anything is moving at all. Not that useful advice, but it could atleast help others on here help you.

Wow, this is amazing, and all this without any mods to your DS or computer? I could do homebrew things with my DS without a wireless card? I already wondred if that would be possible sooner or later, using the wifi adaptor to send things like ds download plays to your DS... but using it to tunnel offline DS games? Imagine.... Meteos online. You are amazing.

Because of some fancy video hardware thingy, videos in some programs are all unable to be print screened, I am guessing he tried to take a pic of a video that appeared overtop of the layout when the program was paused and minimized, resulting in a screencapture of simply the page.

Me and someone else have started a thing to get the one who translated it to translate the other two of the series. I'm trying to post this to as many boards as I can, so we can atleast get 50 signatures. This is the someone else's own words.
I know the person that translated Japanese Flash movie Sega Fantasy VI. His real name is Gabe Glick, and his AIM is ANT Link15. He says if he gets enough signatures of people that wants both Sega Fantasy IV and V to be translated, that he will do them. He says that he would like to get donations, if anyone would like to donate. A sum of 500 dollars would motivate him to work on them even faster. Donations are of course, optional. The more signatures, and the more donations he gets, would get the two Japanese flashes done even faster. This is the site of the Japanese Sega Fantasy flashes: http://www.hcn.zaq.ne.jp/cabic508/rsf/ This is a link to the English one that he translated: http://www.dontpressstart.com/pro/SF6/SF6-2i.swf So what are you waiting for? Sign! |

I love how you left the original BG that was "drawn" on the plank when they went into battle... You're so imaginitive, I doubt I could think of what attack he'll use.

Spoiler: BG held out his right arm, our left, before he dissapeared, so perhaps that means he attacks Kirby? (edited by Someguy on 05-09-06 11:07 AM) |

Holy crap, I knew you could sprite some with those small SMWar sprites, but those are awesome, and quite like how M&L might do it too... you wouldn't happen to have a sheet of them would you? |
