Would he get banned if he put strategically placed black boxes on a picture of himself naked?

We could always push the Earth a bit farther from the sun with nuclear technology (This statement is NOT to be taken seriously, just joking here)

Seriously, I don't really know what to think about the whole Global Warming thing : it's seems both plausible AND exaggerated (by the medias mostly) so I can't exactly say if that's BS or another one of humanity's mortal bane on it's already long and big list.

Nice try, but wrong guess. I'm in no way showing my body to perfect strangers over the internet be it in whole or partially, sorry.

After checking the definition of what bigotry is, I can say we are all bigots in some way or another, so we all have something in common now!

My two cents on this whole topic: Labelling people is something I do in my life (never with bad intents) and will probably continue to do whatever the hell may happen. Are my labels accurate or complete at 100%? Probably not, but they work for me. So I believe, people can consider sexual attractions as boolean variables if they want to.

Edit: After seeing Sion's pic, I can say that he's more Kung-Fu than you Eyeless, and that weights the balance enormously in Sion's favor, sorry.

If you got paid (and I assume we're talking in american currency there) then I don't see any reason to flame you, but I would pretty much recommend you never do it again though.

An autosexual is someone who prefers to have sex "with himself" rather than anyone else, and since you are not another person, masturbation couldn't count as homosexuality since you are the only person involved in the act (well, usually) as opposed as having sex with someone else of the same sex. But then, it all depends on the different point of views people could have on all these elements.

As an insult, he could have followed by offering you an additional 50$ if you accepted to get tasered right after you got sprayed, but then I have serious doubt that you would have accepted in that case.

Edit: Drats, the Taser got mentionned by Bass one minute before my post went online.

But you don't have to be "in", so it's pretty much up to people to do whatever the hell they want to do with their body. I, for my part, just shave my beard nothing else. I leave the rest of my body hair (except my mono-eyebrow) intact, I wouldn't like the way I'd look without it.

Well, these are the effects it has on you, Ghost. When I listen to music I pretty much just feel like every other minute of day, albeit feeling a bit more satisfied inside and/or relaxed and/or les angry, but not to the point that my whole attitude toward stuff changes drastically. Music can't affect everybody the same way, even though the effects might be similar for a lot of people.

Edit: Have to agree with setz and Thought too, music does rock.

Snow Tomato just said in an angry way that we should stop sitting on our arses and do something about the stuff, so that future generations won't have to suffer. (correct me if I'm wrong here, ST)

And, as for what you can do, well you could reduce your personal energy consumption and drive less and/or use non-polluting transportation systems among other things. That's if what I hear about global waring is true though.

When I want to really push the bad feelings out of me I dive in my Death Metal, industrial, grindcore and noise tunes collection (A.C., Nurse with Wound, Carcass, Dying Fetus, Skinny Puppy, and the like) . When I need to do schoolwork I settle for Jazz (Herbie Hancock and Andreas Vollenweider come to mind), classical (Stravinsky anyone?) and ambient music (Eno, Boards of Canada, Tangerine Dream). Then, if I'm feeling neutral I can listen to anything.

P.S.: Eyeless, I'll consider you the best drummer/percussionist when you will provide proof that you are better than Terry Bozzio, Joe Morello, Buddy Rich, Lionel Hampton, The Bonhams, Mike Portnoy, Neil Peart and Walter Keiser (don't take that meanly, just teasing you)

Posted on 04-30-06 03:16 PM, in Misc. questions (1 technical/general, 2 for FF3j/6) Link
My first problem comes from this: Opening my Uncharted Waters: New Horizons ROM I found that the text isn't compressed ; while messing a bit with the text I found that I could change the text as long as my new text was exactly the same length or shorter. The fact is I would want to write some longer text in a few places but the text is packed in too compact blocks, so I can't manually write longer text than the original without messing badly with the ROM. So what would I have to do be bale to have longer text strings? ROM expanding? Pointer hacking? Something else?

Second question (less complex one): I need to do some basic text changing in FF6 and the only editor that exists for that seems to be the one by Yousei(the hacked and updated one) but I'd like to know if it's stable enough to edit text since I read some parts of it were notorious for damaging ROMs.

Last one, how can I change the content of the chests in FF6? Is it done by Hex or ASM? And in either case is there a list of the offsets to do that? I haven't found anything yet to help me with this ; it doesn't seem to be possible but I'd like to be sure.

Any input gladly appreciated!

Edit: It seems there is a typo; it's supposed to be FF3/FF6j in the title.

You might want to visit the format's official website
Might help. I'm not sure though since I don't use any files with that extension.
