Oh the show ... the terror! Well, its great to watch with a big group of friends.

Kasdarack: Well, if you ever can I'd highly recommend you try looking around for the Zelda Collectors Edition disc for the GC. It has Zelda, Zelda II, OoT, and Majora's Mask. An amazing buy. Plus, you could play it on your Wii!

AILURE

I hate Furry stuff, and I hate Inuyasha. But Furry stuff is higher on the nightmare scale.

Um, wow. What exactly did we spoil in here? Oh, there's a Forest Temple? Or something?

On a random note, here's a guy playing his Wii for a straight week:

Well, I tried to bump the Wii Launch Games / VC Games thread to keep it going, but I guess I'll just copy and paste my post here.

So, who got a Wii? Who's loving it?

I still think VC games seem a bit pricey, but then again I own just about everything available to download right now. I think once I start seeing more rare games or games I don't have I'll change my mind.

I didn't pre-order anything. I just camped out at Best Buy around 7:00 AM with a few friends, 2 hours before they opened (I guess they open an hour early on launch days). What's sad is, at around 8:40 or so some guy came walking up to our line (there were about 80 people, 73 got a Wii), holding a Wii in his hands. "Okay, who has cash and doesn't want to wait in line?" Looking around I just saw people disgusted, annoyed, and some that thought it was hilarious. He basically got flamed by a few people, and people laughed at him because we just had a mere 20 minutes to wait before we got our own. He stood around kind of dumbfouned for awhile but then the GM of the Best Buy came out and basically told him to take a hike.

I just hope he didn't buy a Wii to just try and sell, because now that its out all over ... then again, he had it coming.

I loved it, and still do. That's really all I can think of to say. However, I never thought it was that hard at all. Jump + Duck + Attack is funny and works well. Although at some parts later in the game, it sometimes gets hard to know what you're supposed to do next to progress the game.

Also, since everyone's doing it, for me ...

Link to the Past >>>> Ocarina of Time >>> Legend of Zelda > Links Awakening > Majora's Mask > Zelda II > Minish Cap > Wind Waker. Never played Ages and Seasons, and I've for some reason never really bothered to even try and play them (buy them or whatever). Haven't played the CD-i games, if those count. And like Kraw said, I don't have a full opinion for Twilight Princess since I'm in the middle of playing it.

Ran-kitty: Well, Zelda II made the cut to be put in the Collectors Disc for the Gamecube.

Its not that difficult at all, once you've played something like Y's III.

Pretty much. Just thought I'd bring that game up, since I'd say the gameplay is pretty similar when compared to Zelda II. In just about everything.

But again, to take out Iron Knuckles pretty easily just Jump + Duck + Attack at their face. I'm pretty sure you could get in more than one attack if you were fast enough at it also.

Well, if it makes everyone happy I'd say its by far the 'harder Zelda' game out there.

- When eating, I lick my lips after just about every bite. This is something I've been doing since I was a kid, before I even knew it. I don't even realize I do this 99% of the time, but growing up my parents have told me and sometimes my friends have joked about it. I dunno, I can't stop it?

- Putting the bottom of my tongue at the top of my mouth, I can snap it down making a very loud clapping sound. But its -very- loud, as loud as real claps basically.

- I talk to myself sometimes when I'm driving. Usually to make a remark at how stupid people are driving around me, or when someone does something stupid on the road. Yep, I'm angry and cursing at the people while being alone in my car!

My ultimate sleeping complications!
- Must have a fan of some sort going. Extra bonus if the fan is pointed towards me so I feel the air. Its for the sound though, if this fails a computer will do nicely.
- No light coming from cracks of the doors. I almost always put clothes at the bottom of my door when I go to bed, to block all the light coming through. I don't mind lights coming from consoles, or stuff like that but a whole line of light at the ground bothers me.
- Extra weight should be around the area where my feet will be. Usually I have a few blankets here or some piles of clothes.

Yeah, that's how I sleep.

I used to pick my nails a lot. But I stopped doing that a few years ago.

This is how I see it.

If you're 14 or something around that then I'd just say forget it. But if you're older, more mature and liable to go places on your own (thus able to visit each other) I'd say it could be done.

I'd like to think I've had a few chances to have a somewhat serious relationship with some girls online, but I never went for it. For me personally, I've alwaya had this small belief that I'd much rather meet a girl in person, and live somewhat close to them. Its just the type of person I am or what I believe I guess. I'd rather be able to meet them up at the mall or something, then chat with them all day long. But I'm not saying long distance relationship's "can't" work, just not the kind of path I'd like to follow personally.

I dunno.

I'm still undecided about the remake, though. A lot of it has to do with the portraits that show up in each dialogue box and look nothing like the characters they're supposed to be.
I mean, the idea of having the portraits is good, but.. Galuf was never that damn skinny, and his hair isn't even remotely gray.
And Faris looks more like Kefka >.<

Well, its like that in just about every Final Fantasy. And really how can you truly compare a sprite to a portrait? Kind of weird if you ask me.

I picked this up about a week ago along with FFIII DS. For some reason I was more excited about this than FFIII, and I still haven't played FFIII. I've already put in a handful of hours for V, and I'm really liking the upgrade. The cleaner graphics are a little nicer, but I think they really improved the sound and music. I went through FFV on Anthology but I hardly remembered any of the themes, but now with the remake the music is blowing me away.

I need to do some leveling to beat up Shiva.

Posted on 11-25-06 03:24 AM, in Wireless Networking / Router help (Basics I'm sure) Link
So, my dad randomly decided to switch from Yahoo SBC DSL to Comcast Cable. In doing this, he had to get rid of our other modem that had wireless capabilities. So I went out and boughty a Linksys Wireless - G router for myself.

Well, I guess I just need to know how to setup a secured wireless network for our home. Right now my laptop can 'find' the connection to the linksys router, but its an open connection (not good I'd say), and from there ... I can't do anything on the net, or can't access anything. Its not like I don't have the permission, everything just doesn't work (alright, same thing basically but you know what I'm trying to say?). My 360 / Wii also cannot connect.

So how would I go about setting up a secured network? I guess that's my question here. My Laptop / 360 / Wii were all connected wirelessly before, which is what I need to figure out again here.

Right now I'm on our family computer, the only one that can actually do anything on the net. But its directly connected to everything. (Computer - Router - Modem).

My friends are telling me I can just go to My Network Places then 'Setup a wireless network for a home or small office', but that really didn't seem to work, and just didn't do much ...

I should give this game another chance, since its been a few years.

I'd have to lean towards Grey / GeckoYamori's points though, just kind of not my thing really. But it has been a long time since I gave it a shot ..
