| The moment you hit the Dusty Dunes Desert in Earthbound.
It's like, "Whoa, sunlight." I was humming that song that goes like "I can see clearly now that the rain is gone..." the entire time I ran through it on my latest play. It's really a turning point in the game, where you're not restricted by being inside of Threed any longer and you don't have to worry about being attacked by Zombies and monsters you're not sure you can beat. It's at this point where the game balances a little more, too, so that the equipment you buy actually helps you keep pace with your foes. The game's plot becomes more in-depth at this point, and you start to see the world around you in a much brighter scope. It's at this point where the game starts hinting that you're going to be doing some backtracking later on. You're not so linear anymore -- not like you go to Fourside then to the fifth town the the sixth, because you're still coming back to the DDD for the Yogurt Machine, then you're learning to teleport, then you're mining, and so on and so forth. And even then you're still coming to get some good stuff from Magnet Hill. Really, whoa. Fans of the game can appreciate it. |

| Well, Shadic, be glad you're alive, and I gotta say, good on ya that you got the insurance to cover your house's repairs.
Back when Hurricane Bob hit Rhode Island in 1989, a tree very nearly fell on my house... It clattered across telephone poles, and I only years later realized how close my family was to being destroyed by it. What area of the world do you live in? The moment he touched her glass, it cooled immensely, and the half-melted ice cubes inside of it reformed themselves as though they were just taken from a freezer. It wouldn't be long until they were melted again, with this heat. He shuffled around in his barstool and watched Star try to convince the drowning milk-stud to buy him some whiskey. Eventually, his gaze shifted to the dancer on stage, and the exchange that took place between the Deku Scrub and the burly drunk. "It really is a shame. It seems in every washed-up, dingy hole that I have had the displeasure of crossing there is always one wholesome young woman that is exploited because of her beauty and charm. Well, only one thing to be done about it." Johnathan stared at the oglers. He snapped his fingers after a few moments of concentration, and smirked. In a few minutes, those sweaty men wouldn't be so sweaty, but they'd have a host of new problems to worry about... Like how they were going to relieve themselves. |

| Grey formed a quick-trick star shape with the string on his yoyo and watched it form what seemed like a solid wall against the explosions, despite obviously being otherwise.
He reached into his coat, pulled out another small remote, and hit the single red button on it. Several miles away, inside the Sim Battle Arena Annex, a small hole opened in the roof of Grey's office and all floors above it. Grey's chair then performed a James Bond and sprung Dynamo out of it. 'Nobody sits in my chair,' he thought. Realizing all of a sudden that his target had aggro'd to him, Grey threw out his N64 controller and watched the three prongs on it dig deeply into the side of the building where Zap was peddling cards in front of. He held onto the port and used the cord to swing towards Zap. He followed through with a swinging kick while throwing his yoyo out and catching it around a nearby traffic light. A small object slipped out of his pocket as he flew towards Zap, unidentifiable to the average eye. Grey ended up hanging upside down from the edge of his yoyo, slowly making his way to the top of the light for another aerial strike. Grey: "Come on, tag, tag! Why not?" |

| Evan retaliated in a fit of rage. He immediately rose up and bore down on the little girl, eyes bulging with anger now, rather than pain, and a gigantic gloved fist clenched. His voice boomed so loudly, it was hardly muffled by his cloak and from behind his visor-shades, it almost seemed like there was real fire in his eyes...
Evan: "Bandit Crasher!!!" His fist engulfed in flames, he slammed it down at the little girl in her laughing fit, sending a shockwave out from the point where his hand began to rush at the ground and following through with a hit that'd register a 7 on the Richter scale. "NEVER HIT A MAN THERE!" --------------- Miller said, well... nothing, as usual. He just pointed his finger toward the balls of fire, and the hundreds of tiny wires around his hand whipped outward, snaking around the fireballs and slicing them into burning ashes as they fell. He sent another electric shock out, and the wires in the air were charged with electricity, creating an energy field around him that served to blast the bits of sulfur into dust. He disappeared in another unmarkable motion, and appeared right behind Loki. Miller squinted and attempted to grab onto the deranged wannabe god, bringing his head close to Loki's.
