| The worst are the ones that know where I live, so it's dating websites or some such that say, "Meet attractive sigles in Ruston, La." And then have pictures of some generic girls who in no way live anywhere near anyone or have profiles on any such website. I mean seriously, that's both somewhat invasive AND insulting. | |||

| Oh I'm NOT seeing her. I don't PLAN on seeing her. Ugh.
But since she DID get my number, I figured she'd call at least once. I happened to be at a friend's house after leaving the bar and my buddy Matt was with me again so I gave him the phone and he pretended to be me. She talked to him for a bit and I think she was cracked out judging from the faces he was making. After this he kept my phone and dialed one of the numbers she called the other night (star 67, of course.) He found out she was in the lowest rent motel in town. This is where I wanna stop telling the story, but I won't. He actually decided to drive over there and park and then spam the room's phone number to see what happened. It never got answered but there were guys popping out all paranoid. We saw her leave the room, and then we saw her go in with no less than five black guys. He kept calling and finally someone came out and saw the glow of his cell phone and got pissed, so I made him peel the fuck out of there. My excuse is that I was drunk and just along for the ride. But yeah, I think we technically just stalked a crack whore. But hey, at least she hasn't called back. I hope we didn't get her beaten or anything... |

| I haven't really gone on a decent trip this year, which is sad. I usually at least make a point to go camping somewhere. Last summer I went to Cyprus and it was a BLAST. The year before that I went on all kinds of little geology trips with friends of mine in the curriculum. This summer? Nada... | |||

| We're on the quarter system here. And we don't get breaks like people on semester do, so we can start later.
I hate the quarter system. sure, we can get slightly more hours a year in three ten-week quarters than others can in two semesters, but it's just so fast paced... and winter quarter is broken in half by Christmas break... sucks. |

| I so know that story, Taryn... I hate and despise computers because I always have to fix EVERYONE'S. I might get dinner out of it. I always say I'm gonna start charging $50 an hour even for friends and family, but I never have. I do at least require that I get parts out of the deal now, but still... bleh | |||

| The soreness after a tightening isn't THAT HORRIBLE. Yeah, I sucked on my teeth a lot to ease the pain, but I didn't drink milkshakes in liu of eating what I normally ate.
When I got my molars cut out though, my dentist was a really old guy and well... was past his time as a doctor. I never had enough novacaine on visits to him. Drills hurt. He had to cut my lower molars in half with the drill before he could extract them. I have a high pain threshold, but dammnit... |

| I think that would depend on how hungry you were at the time. I'd eat it. Cat food would make you really sick, but canned dog food would probably be just fine.

| I actually find myself spending very little time in front of the computer these days, except when I'm spamming Acmlm's.
I never mess with the system like I used to. I don't upgrade. I don't game. I don't even check my email or surf the net. I just don't care for any of it anymore. That's why I dissappeared for most August. I didn't feel like sitting at the computer. |

| I'd agree it's a power issue. It COULD also be due to a loose or bad cable. Take the side of the case off and jiggle all the wires next time. Also try unplugging the power supply from the wall, hitting the power button, waiting a second and then replugging and turning on as normal. | |||

| I might use the computers at home more if the network really worked correctly.
But It's Windows XP, where you can set up a network using the same steps 10 times and have it randomly work or not work regardless of what you actually do. I really need to get a Mac or learn some flavor of Linux... |

I'm working on getting my bulimia under control. I've been pretty good lately, but not perfect. I've gained some weight  I'm also going to try to REALLY finish school this year. We'll see how that goes... |

| Thanksgiving break marks the end of Fall quarter. The we go back for like 2 weeks and then have Christmas break. So we get nada done, and then only have 8 weeks to get coursework done. |
