| It was a bump, yes, but he did actually contribute something to the thread. Better that than he posts a new topic and potentially gets ganged up on for not using the search feature.
Thusly, reopened. And Jaws for NES is actually pretty simple at its core. It's just not a very good game. 
Friday the 13th is one I have mixed feelings on. It honestly had a decent concept going for it and just wasn't executed that well. That's probably the LJN game I'd wonder "really bad, or just hard?" about. |

| I made my feelings about GameFAQs known some two years ago.
Suffice to say: I don't blame CJayC for "selling out" or whatever. What I blame him for is being naive enough to take CNet at their word when they promised they wouldn't change anything, making the same promise to the userbase, and having to backpedal and say "But don't worry, it's only a small change!" on seemingly a monthly basis. He's also a horrible public relations person. What did he say some time afterward to try and ease fears? "Don't worry, I'm a CNet employee as much as anyone else!", AKA the absolute WORST thing you could say--yeah CJayC, and I'm an employee of Jaci Carroll Staffing Services as much as anyone else too, but that doesn't magically give me as much say in their day-to-day operations as anyone else.... Take those comments as you will. As to the design, I don't like it, but whatever. |

| Hey, like I said, I don't blame him for needing and getting outside help, despite what I've said here. I maintain, though, that public relations is not his strong suit, which is probably why he's an administrator as opposed to a PR guy.

| Practice. A lot.
For better or for worse, that's pretty much all there is to it. Basically, find out what foot difficulty is the max you can comfortably do, and every now and again, pick a song one foot above it. Eventually, those "uncomfortable" songs should get easier, and you'll be able to play them more and more frequently. Then move everything up a foot, and repeat. |

| Just as a completely random thought, not really WWE related:
You know, TNA started off absolutely terribly in the weekly Pay-Per-View days. Recently, they had made big strides in getting me to forget about those days and give them another chance.... ...then they went and signed Scott Steiner, pretty much assuring that I will never watch them again. My hatred of Scott Steiner is legendary, leading to me yelling "NO! FUCK YOU STEINER!" in a public place with relatively small children around (Me swearing is no big deal, but I generally try and watch my language around small children and/or family), and marking out for TEST of all people, simply because he pinned Steiner a few years back. |

That's the problem... by having the show in Montreal next year, they're just asking for some sort of backlash. I mean, I'll groan if the title's won off the sharpshooter/"RING THE DAMN BELL" finish.
