"Megaman 7 in a nutshell" was pretty cool. Dr. W (ily) was a nice touch.

It's not a free speech issue, it's a security issue. The problem was that a part of the goverment put a picture with "kill bush" scrawled across it by a 14-year old girl was an actual threat. Never assume malice when stupidity will suffice.

If you the government's so into internet censorship, remind me... who, exactly, pops up when you feed "incompetent" into Google and click "I'm Feeling Lucky"?

Make a proper article link next time, too.

Yeah, I think a zoom editor would be so easy to make that I was going to make one with that data at one point. And I'm incredibly lazy.

It wasn't so easy that I actually went and did it, though. The project's all yours, Smallhacker.

It's quite an assumption to say that we'll never have invisible objects in our lifetimes. Lifetimes are too damn long to say that.

It is that simple, you have been spending hours discussing this topic, and that's why I find your side of the argument here so hilariously nonthreatening that I feel comfortable posting stupid stuff like that above.

This should totally be put up, yeah. The high-res version was pretty pointless on its own, but if it can be used to make awesome things like this... good work, JDavis.

Ha ha, "put at risk". That doesn't even make a little sense.

Whether they're having spats over names or confusing tuna for chicken or making anti-semitic comments while drunk, celebrities never fail to entertain.

Sure, it's absolutely, painfully retarded, with that hilariously bad british voice and the lady with the tray of cakes and the DNA and everything. But... can you just imagine how entertaining this would be if you smoked up before watching it? Since that's clearly who Sony's aiming for these days, I have to say "Good job".

This stuff is ancient, man. I remember getting this back at VGF how many years ago? Still, there's some pretty funny stuff like "major component of acid rain" further down the list, I guess.

Also, I'm thoroughly disappointed in myself for seeing a Lyle in Cube Sector reference but not getting why it's funny.

Depends on what code you're writing. Of course you need to put hexadecimal hacks in the hack you want to change-- the emulator won't scan directories looking for code and automatically put it in the rom, that wouldn't make sense.

If you're writing assembly code with mnemonics and labels and such, like in Sprite Tool, you have to assemble it. Sprite Tool comes with an assembler, you should look up tutorials on how to use the assembler to create a .bin file and copy THAT into your rom.

If you're just using Sprite Tool, you don't have to do anything at all but put your sprite file name in sprites.txt(or whatever your file is named) and it'll automatically assemble and place that code in the rom when you run it.

Raccoon Sam, you really should have been more specific in the first post. Easiest != hex editor when there's a specific editor about.

Smallhacker, for someone who finds things "incredibly obvious", how could you overlook that RS here has a Mac window as his layout? Tweaker, logically, would be out.

At x3F7D1 there should be 8D 8D 8D. The first two are horizontal dolphins and the third is verticle. Changing the value to 8C will make each respective dolphin edible, I believe.

Recolored goombas, poorly drawn spikes, and a clock that looks less like a clock and more like a scribbly blob? I'd write out how to fix your mistakes since you asked so nicely for help, but there's just no good place to start in this crapasterpiece--your work is without merit. Go Google yourself a beginners' spriting tutorial.
