Because clearly this topic has been spilling into other threads lately. Examples are here and here.

Non-existance FTW. Who the hell wants to go to hell, anyway?
When burning for eternity, who is going to say "oh, man, I'm so totally glad I was born so I had the chance to go to hell"? On the other hand, though, without existing you wouldn't even know you didn't exist. Fuck yeah, sign me up for that right now. |

That's totally awesome. I never would have thought I could do something like that with PHP and the meta-refresh was a nice touch.

Remember when I said I'd win ACS for one day and stop there?
I lied. I'M SETTING PHASERS FROM 'STUN' TO 'SPREE' |

I don't understand the PHP fuck rule. I'd expect this kinda thing from an overgrown, messy, low-level, compiled language like C, but not from a primarily web based and high level language like PHP. PHP may not deliver speed-wise or be good for lots of things that you need a compiled language for, but I'd think the ease of use would make for happier coders.
At least, I know I've given C more "fuck you"s than PHP... |

It's contagious. I wasn't like this before I came here, I swear. But the damage has been done.

LOLOMGWTFBBQ how could you forget a game that had a totally real release so ceremonious it rocked the gaming world?
Except kinda not. Anyway, I'd vote for SF64, but I really need to play command and I better not pass judgement before then. Plus, Starfox 64 was a bit on the easy side, if I recall. It just felt more fun than incarnations. More style than substance, perhaps, but what it did have was great. Remember the train guy or the guy who said he gave up then turned around and blasted you? Fantastic bosses, and I think the enemies in the levels seemed a bit more interesting to me, too. I just think you got a bit more out of it than the admittedly impressive original StarFox, though SF1 I'm sure was more impressive for its time. I think I'll download SF2 right now to see what that's all about. Ha, who'd vote for Star Fox Adventures? |

Better things to do include something with PHP or a shitty SMW hack or parititioning your computer so you can run linux and use that so you no longer have a tree system to be tempted to mess with.

Good God, what vile star twinklery have I now unleashed? Even I think this is too much. I'll never suggest an animated gif in anger again. (edited by Glyph Phoenix on 10-16-06 05:01 AM) |

I'm sure Kyouji runs a daemon that allows him to do evil while he's sleeping.
Anyway, with Kyouji being busy with uh, life, I intend to take his place as the resident evil. I'll post more than he ever did and be a bigger jerk than he ever was! Bwa ha ha ha ha! |

About 35 hours.
My computer isn't even hooked up to the internet, though, so it's not like there's much to do with it in the background. As for this computer, if I leave it online forever it'll tie up the phone lines, and since it's not mine I install things on it rarely. I guess I just never saw the point in keeping computers on all the time. |

Now that's a good point. If you die for your beliefs, couldn't you have just as easily said, "no, I don't believe in that" and then lived for your beliefs? I mean, can you really do more for your cause dead than alive? Couldn't you go on to help people without dying? Is your pride and honor really more important than that?
I personally think you guys are too hard on suicidals. You do need some serious conviction to kill yourself, after all. Psychologically, humans and many other beings are set up to reject self-destruction. Natural selection, you know. I'm sure most suicidals are just unstable and don't really know what they want or what they're doing, but I bet some just honestly and thoroughly want to be dead. |

Maybe if you don't make stupid topics we'll give you it. |
