Wednesday afternoon. Am I ready? Not really. Am I panicing at this point? Nope... although, any advice would be nice...

REMEMBER THAT THERE IS ONE QUESTION THAT CAN NEVER BE CORRECT!
That's what my teacher told me.

Also, there are some questions that have funny answers in them. Well, they are funny if you paid attention this year in your class.

Also with the DBQs, don't try to use outside information if you don't need to. Just do what the rubric tells you to and you are good to go. Don't bother making it sound "smart." Just make it sound "right." Remember to group and state other sources to use as well.

Umm... yeah, AP World History this Wednesday for me. Then Monday... AP Biology. THAT is the test I am probably going to fail...

Also for the rating, my World History teacher told me that it is like a competition and that they use the best scores as a base for the rest of the tests or something like that...

Still, 3 or up is good...

Now I just need to be able to brush up my CCOT and Compare/Contrast essays...

I am sure that they are going to use the controller for aiming manual shooting weapons as you drive or something like that if it were Mario Kart.

Then again, Mario Kart DS didn't make full use of the DS, so... maybe they will just make it... Mario Kart... without using the rotation of the controller.

They serve no purpose whatsoever, other than to occupy at least 4kb of your hard drive's space

I thought so, but somehow I deleted them and it didn't work afterwords and thought they were necessary... I must have deleted an actual file...

Anyways, I played through both difficulties, and in Standard, the blue arrow and the red arrow before bars 12 and 40 respectively seem to be just a little bit offsync. The same thing can be said of Heavy, so here's what I would do if I were you.

Open the song in the editor, and press F4, to turn the assist tick on. Then, play through the song, and listen carefully for any arrow ticks that seem offbeat. Once you hear one, press escape, move back up to the arrow that was offbeat, and fiddle around with it's placement until you find something that's more on the beat. Don't be afraid to slow the song down either. You can do so by pressing escape, selecting "Song Options", and changing the "Rate" value to something lower than the default. I usually like to decrement it by .2, just because setting it to 0.5x will make it a lot slower than you may think it would After that, play through the song again, listening for offbeat ticks, and figure out the proper placement for those arrows.

Then again, it could just be my computer being slow, so give it a play through in the editor first, with the assist tick on, and listen closely at bars 11 and 39 to see if they're offbeat for you as well

As for the graphics, I can't see anything to comment on in them. Very nice work there Once again, good job for this being your first simfile.

Thanks for the comment. I'll do so and if for some reason I need to tweak those steps I'll do it. I forgot about the Assist Tick when I finished the song... I will have to upload it again at school though if I do change it, as it took 30 minutes just to upload that...
...and when my sound starts to actually work better... stupid laptop...

While I have never really played Super Metroid much, I will have to play this hack to see how huge it is.

It just looks... wow...

Now I know what I'm doing tomorrow at school: downloading as many sims as possible just in case.

Heavy Mario confused me a few times during the song, though. Actually, just the beat changes. I accomplished it with a B since I wasn't expecting the beat changes when they occured, but it was a fun song both to listen to and play. I'll play it a bit more and master it. Definitly better than the Mario theme I found earlier.

EDIT: Cleared Heavy Mario with a AA. I have accepted that I'll only be able to do AA's as I somehow always screw up my beats partway through the song.

Latest Proud Achievement of Mine:

Not as great as what others would get, but I am proud of it.

Eh, a few days if I have some video games with me.

I bring my computer with me to school to keep me awake during the... umm... boring classes. Photoshop is a great diversion.

The longest I have gone was actually two months, as that was when my relatives had to live with me and my family at the time and my brother acting like the idiot self he is got fed up and yelled at our cousin. End result: room cleaned out. It sucked that I shared a room with him.

If I have nothing to do, I play on my laptop or video games. If I get a game I have been waiting forever for (recent example: Kingdom Hearts II) then I can go until I get over the halfway point before going back to the computer.

That reminds me of the episode of Red vs Blue where Grif (as a ghost) takes over the body of Sarge.

Good times.

What episode was that?

I missed watching RvB all the time at school. Too bad the Internet there goes so slow otherwise I would constantly watch it again.

Still, the best PSA has got to be the Real Life vs. The Internet.

William rushed through the shoreline to reach a new opponent nearby. Something strange was wrong though. William was in silver clothes, slightly covered with glossy black vines. The bottoms of William's clothes looked like black flames on the silver coloring. His weapon, too, looked different. Instead of it being orange, it was a silver color as well, with the same type of vines encircling the thorns on the sword. The primary thing that could easily identify what was wrong with him could be the sign on his sleeves, which was similar to that of an upside down heart with some appendages sticking out of the top of it. Only intelligent people who know a lot about evil forces or whatnot would know about it.

He stopped running when he was a few feet away from Sky. He clinched onto his sword.
"You must be my foe. Well, then. Let's see what someone like you can do. Maybe you could prove to be-- to me alone-- useful."

Why was William different than he normally was? It was a mystery soon to be solved.

(OOC: I think you might get it already. )

Eh, just of some songs I played today.

Shipmeister's Shanty - 1st runthrough
Carnival Night Zone - Expand
Mr. Roboto - Dizzy, Sudden

I wasn't too impressed with the first two's scores (Shanty tricked me a few times as I forgot the actual song... and I suck at Expand), but Mr. Roboto shocked me. I thought I could never do it with a AA without any mods. Heh...
Also managed to get a few themes now. Needed something new for a change.

I would get Emerald Sword now, but I'll wait until I can download faster for that file. It is too long for me to download (and with the way it has been for me, it would take an hour or two just to download it, which I don't have time tonight).

I just had the best prom that I ever had.

Considering that it only had 10 songs that weren't rap, it was better than my 8th grade prom where I just sat there the entire time.

I got dragged out to dance... and my friends used their hands to try and do DDR arrows for me to dance to.

"What I need is none of your concern... yet."

The figure that stood before him, all in red, seemed to show a fighting spirit, just what this William needed. "Before I begin, I might as well introduce myself as Mixlaliw. I am as what most people would normally consider... non-existant."

Mixlaliw drew forth his sword and positioned the point towards the fighter before him. The sword drew the vines on it towards the tip of the blade. Right as they did that they shot off the sword and flew towards Sky in an awkward jagging movement. The vines were very sharp, especially at the point, but as with normal vines, they were fragile.

This was to see if this "host" would make a suitible candidate for the plan.

Metal Slug Anthology? Holy shit! I HAVE TO GET THAT!

Metal Slug is a great game. I'd play it if I had the money. The fact that it is going to have the whole collection is just... wow. WOW!

And Crystal Chronicles again? I thought it was going to be on the DS... eh, whatever. That game will be a lot better via Wi-fi, that's for sure.

Can't wait to hear more. It sucks I don't have satellite for the E3 coverage that they show on TV since its better to see it than read about it.

Got the song. I remember it now from my brother.

But... DAAAAMMMNNN! That is one hard song! I have to have speed changes and stuff just to make it passable. Good song, though.

I am also in the process of making another sim. This time, I went through my song collection (which is very, very small) and found a song from The Nightmare Before Christmas. I figured I should try giving Kidnap the Sandy Claws a shot. Just got it synched, so... yeah...

EDIT: I thought I had the BPMs right. Turns out I was .5 BPMs off. At least I made Light only thus far otherwise I would have been screwed. Anyway, after I finish Standard and Heavy and also complete the lyrics, I'll make this a link to the song, but for now, just want to show what is coming, I guess...

Man, there are many, many suprises from Nintendo this year. I cannot wait for the Wii to come out. Although my friends still say it is the Revolution because it sounds cooler, I should show them the E3 stuff to have them shocked and stop making fun of the "Wii-rd" name.
