Errr... It allows you to be two different Mario Forms at once, like Small Fire Mario, Big Fire Mario (meaning when you get hit, instead of going back to Small Mario, you go back to BIG Mario (aka Super Mario)!), Small Cape Mario, Big Cape Mario, and even Fire Cape Mario (or, if you prefer, Cape Fire Mario)! It messes up the GFX, though, and you can't reinsert the GFX.

It's not like it's going to be an intrusive program that takes up a lot of space and it's just an alternative to Windows Media Player. I can't see the harm in putting it on their system if you're going to be a primary user of it.

Course if they don't allow that, they'd probably get uppety over something like a program being added to their computer anyways. In which case, getting a program period would likely incur problems. I hope they aren't THAT tight.

I'm not sure, actually. Every day I download stuff, and they don't seem to mind. It's usually just small stuff, like SMW hacks, patches, and stuff for Zelda Classic. Meh. If I finally get a laptop with internet capabilites this year, I'll definitely get WinAmp on it.

Actually, I found that it uses one of the last few palettes. To be specific, the palette that the Red Koopas use. In other words, it's obviously gone up one palette than it should- The correct palette is right below it...

...Please tell me you're close to Version 1.0. I'd like to be able to hack every single feature of MZM!

Edit: Also, I like that screen, but I can see you haven't gotten the lava/acid to work yet. Oh well. It's not like you need to rush it. It's looking good. Now if only you could add some little "minigames" for people to play to pass the time while thinking of ideas... ...What? It's just a thought.

Yellow: Spam that comes here every month.
Purple: Spam that comes here every week.
Blue (not shown, it's too small): Spam that comes here every day. (I don't really see spammers make threads here much anymore, at least one or two spammers each month, but a WHOLE LOT of threads)

Which of these commercials do you hate more?
-Head-On Commercial
-Commercials for other channels on another (like a commercial for a show on the Discovery Channel being shown on GSN (Game Show Network))
-Any Video Game Commercial

Wow, 3 years? Neat. It's also neat that you came here for SMW Hacking. Odd. That's the same reason I came here! XD

What's so bad about a 6-year anniversary? I've had an account on a certain website for over 6 years now, and I have yet to make a big deal out of it (In fact, this Thanksgiving will be exactly 1 year since I stopped going there. XD Zelda Classic took me away from that website. XD). Though I haven't been there in a while, so how could I celebrate my being there for 6 years? I didn't even celebrate after 5! XD (The weird thing about the website is it's the first place I used this username. Since then I've come up with others, and tend to prefer being called by my real name...)

Look, if you're not going to use ExGFX to put vines in the background (what you'd do is take a tile of the BG and overlap a vine tile ontop of it in a tile editor, then take away some of that vine and round out the ends), then don't use them at all. Seriously, it doesn't look right with them just hanging like that. Or, do something else: Change what the vines look like. Make them thinner, and make them all hang from the ceiling, so it looks like vines are coming out of the floor/ceiling. Though, you'd have to find a way to make those vines appear on the floors, walls, and ceilings, so it's really a plant-infested house.

Ummm... It's easy to steal them while replying? *shudders* Why not just take away that part that has your username and password inputted to post? You could have that page simply check to see who is logged in when you post, and whoever you're logged in as, that's the username that'll appear. I know they never ask for your username when posting on any other board, even if you're logged in.

I don't think that's a good thing to say about graphics. I mean, you can't already have everything you want, and you're prepared to dis this hack just because the animations aren't like those from Yoshi's Island? That's cruel.

All that aside, I'm starting to like this even more! I mean, that background looks kinda like what the backgrounds in some Sonic games do- Change perspective depending on where you are. Like, for example, in Launch Base Zone from Sonic 3, the water would kinda go "diagonally" angled the higher up you went. That's the idea that water-area background is giving me. And I like it! Also regarding backgrounds, I absolutely despise your new boneyard background. Oh, the tiles are fine. It's just creepy. It makes you feel like one of the skeletons is about to jump out and bite/eat you. Ugh. Still, it's obviously SUPPOSED to be creepy, but man, that's ALMOST overdoing it! Note that I said ALMOST. That means it's okay the way it is.

Awww.... I wanted to take part in the Trapster-removal party! And the weird thing? I keep seeing Trapster's new username in the bar at the top of the main page that says who's online (and everytime I see it, I chuckle. It's a funny name the admins picked for Trapster. ).

I'LL offer some advice. Those Thwomps are okay, but yes, they do need some work. They don't look like stones. The worst part of it all? That's about as good as I can do with the shading. O_o And out of all the parts of tile-making, I'm the worst at shading. Yes, they need to be shaded a little better (Don't put little "bloches" on them- Take the darkest colors and put them on the edges, then work your way in with the lighter colors. This gives tiles perspective and keeps them from looking flat and lifeless.). Plus, for its actual face, put some black where its eyes should be (make it look like it's just another part of a stone), make one of its eyes open up a little bit for when you get a little too close, and for when you're too close for it to tolerate, make it be REALLY angry. Or, for some insanity, make it stick its tongue out at you. And seriously, DON'T make Spinies into Goombas- People around here REALLY hate when people do that to Spinies. They're used to Goombas being Goombas. However, if you give them hats (and make the hat have a different color than the Goomba, so people know the difference between the two. The Spiky Goombas from the Paper Mario games had hats, not Spiked Heads.) with one spike (Not two, ONE SPIKE), it'll pass, because people will know that it can't be stomped on normally. Remember, people are going to look for SHADING. Oh yes, the Spiked Goombas were also the same color as normal Goombas. Don't make your new Spinies a different color/palette.

Uhhh..... What game are you talking about? It sounds like a preschool game for some reason.... Honestly, I've never heard of it. Then again, back when I was younger, I wasn't the video game fanatic that I am today (and only 15 years old! XD ), so I rarely even played games. Go figure.

What's the start and end addresses for the Triangle Block routine? I want to see if I can try and use that routine to make a block that will allow Mario to run up the side of a wall without running. Then I could try my hand at making a magnetic block that Mario could walk upon on all sides, even upside-down...

Huh. Oh well. I'd still like to find a way to allow Mario to walk up walls using the Purple Triangle without having to run (even if I have to make a Custom Power-Up to do it!).

I'd rather make a new one, for a Custom Block. I want old and new. Technically, I just want to see what all I can do by changing that one simple effect. All I need to know is where the subroutine for the Purple Block starts and ends (I'd do trial-and-error, but I'm really paranoid, and I'm afraid that if I try each and every byte, I'll eventually tear up my ROM beyond repair).

What direction did you set? Let me make an example:

Let's say your exit tiles are vertical. Let us also say that you go north to reach a level and south when going to Yoshi's Island. When you set the tiles to link each other, did you set the direction of the main-map exit tile to Bottom? If so, change it to Top. No, it doesn't make you appear at the top of THIS exit tile. Direction tells you where to appear on the other exit tile and which direction to go, so if you had bottom, you'd appear at the bottom of the exit tile on Yoshi's Island, walk north, and go back to where you came from. Silly.
