I didn't think X8 was that bad. Nothing amazing though.

I never beat it though. I always got knocked off during the final fight with Lumina.

And yeah, that music got old after awhile.

Yeah, they catapult the poop unto the roof and eventually some of it slides in for storage. They made a little entrance for the children, so if they're bad they have to sit in the corner of that enclosed room with the poop.

Eh, epic story there.

Anyways, I'll move this to the Officer's Club.

Sounds like Dragon Spirit, aye?

Although that's obviously for an arcade and not NES, my friends and I recently played Dragon Spirit (we were just playing random shmup's). So there's an NES version out there.

Agreed. This was somewhat the case for me also with Metroid Prime Hunters. You could use the D-Pad and everything instead of the stylus, but then it felt pretty clunky.

So yeah, I'm still skeptical. How are the controls? From the previews and everything I watched it seemed like you almost always use the stylus.

Picked this up today and I'm loving it. Although I never played the original, I heard too many good things about it and being a long time RPG fan I just had to try this one out. I like how it seems so easy to get into, its fast paced at times, and overall the gameplay is just really fun. I think it'll be something to keep me busy until FFXII comes out.

Yeah. I'm not sure if ToP would be a good example though, since well ... they pretty much -completely- changed the style.

But truly, I think it depends. Look at the Donkey Kong Country ports for the GBA ... is it me, or do they actually look just flat out horrible? Then again I've heard those ports are just horrible in everyway.

Haha, of all things? Then again I guess if you don't go with the material a lot, you do forget how to do it (obviously).

Ugh, I can't even remember how long I've been doing factoring in Math. 3-4 years maybe.

I'm the opposite of Kasdarack here though, I don't mind Algebra at all, but Geometry annoys me. Its either that or I'm just lazy and want simple equations with variables to solve instead of anything else.

Chrono sequel? There's a nice dream that's been going on for awhile.

Yeah, I'd say Chrono ... but I just wonder if it'll ever actually happen anytime soon. Let's hope.

Reminder to those who don't know or maybe forgot: There's THREE games being produced set in the Final Fantasy XIII universe.

Yeah.

Square is silly.

And for the record I can't say I'm very interested in XIII at all, because it looked like a Xenosaga spinoff. I'm still hyped about XII though, but seriously the Chrono games are superior to most if not all FF's except for FFVI. [/biased love for VI]

Rhapsody ... seriously, what language do they sing in? Sometimes it sounds like English, sometimes it doesn't. I'd say its maybe their accents, but the again 90% of metal I listen to is European, and basically every other band I listen to I can clearly hear what they're saying regardless of being European.

I always wished Square would've taken other series farther, like the Mana games (there's a good amount out there, but I can't say I've enjoyed them as much as SoM and SD3), Vagrant Story, Chrono, and so forth.

I can't stand using Tink, either... I've actually yet to hire anyone for my team other than a Prinny and the standard five you start with. It's far easier to raise a small team of high-powered killers than it is a group of midlevels.

Dang, more powerful than me but I'm towards the end of Chapter 4.
(my Adell is just now 14)

Guess I should check out the Item World more, it just kind of scares me at the levels I'm at.

I actually like Tink though, especially because of his move range. And yeah, it probably is easier to level a few stronger characters than a bunch. I just got a Heavy Knight, hearing that a lot of people at GameFAQ's love them ... but, his movement is so bad ... I'm already done clearing off the maps by the time I get him to where the enemies would have been. I'm enjoying Warrior though.

So yeah, I'm still very new to this game. Any tips on how to make money easily? I read something about the subpoena's but didn't really understand what people were talking about. Right now, 3,000 HL is a lot for me.

Yeah, I figured you were supposed to lose that fight.

Anyways, I still haven't found out how to Steal from the shops. I tried using the items while next to the shops, but that doesn't seem to work. So, yeah?

Does leveling get faster at some point in the game? It just seems like it'll take forever even to get to the 100's.
