Looks a lot like my math notes. I probably spent more time doodling than paying attention. (Which I now regret... ) I always used to make the top of the page look like a Windows title bar and draw junk above it, like little stick figures standing on it doing stuff or plans for programs I wanted to make. Sometimes I drew desktop icons along the sides and status bars on the bottom too. Occasionally the teacher would add his own junk to it.

I wonder if I still have those...

The boot sector is sector #0. Nobody I know calls it Zero Sector though. That sounds more like a level in a video game than a computer term.
And yes, that sector holds the boot code and partition table, so if it's deleted, your computer might find booting up difficult and the drive will appear to be empty. It's pretty easy to recover from though.

Also, I have my email configured to pipe all messages beginning with "Fw:" or "Fwd:" to the trash.

MIO0 is an LZ compression, so you could look at the source of my compressor to get an idea of how to do it (and how big a pain it is). Looking back through the data to find matches is easy... the hard part is ensuring you're taking the best possible match; EG you might save more space by skipping some matches if there are others nearby.
Also, watch out for overlap. You can get cases where, for example, you've only output 2 bytes and then are told to copy 5 bytes from the output starting at position 0. This is valid - after copying the first 2 bytes your output is now 4 bytes long, and the third byte copied is the one written by the first copy - but it's easy to screw up.

Hm, yeah, looks like the driver shooting would be the best idea in that case. Though it wouldn't make a lot of sense that he has a weapon (obviously fairly small) that can shoot the same bullets as that big vehicle-mounted turret.

I bet it wouldn't be too hard to hack the bullets' offset so it still looks like it's coming out of the turret.
