Ok. After playing with Riku, I figured something out.
He had ZSNES 1.42, and we used it at first, but when you play with that version online, the audio FREAKS out... So, we switched to 1.36. Now, what happened was, when we did UDP, it would freeze and say Could not Connect. If we did TCP/IP, it would not connect at all. So we switched back to 1.42 and played with sound disabled. This is odd, because 1.36 works fine with Thexare. My best bet for you Grey, is to play with 1.42 and you both disable sound. I bet it will work if you try 1.42, I'm almost positive. Im going to look into Zsnes forums or something and see if maybe 1.42 dosn't need the port forwarded(Riku did not have the port forwarded at the time), and 1.36 does. Maybe thats the issue? EDIT: The tables have turned! SB5 is winning! (edited by Sonicandtails on 06-09-06 02:52 PM) |

I can confirm the Black scratch issue. I had a MP3 Player that was black coated, and it scratched really easily, and was quite noticable...I bought one of the same brand/model/type that was Red (I wanted more space), and it really didn't seem to scratch that much. At least it wasn't noticable...Im thinking its an issue of noticing. If the color underneath the Black is white, yea you are going to see it when it scratches. If its Red, and it scratches, then the white wont be as noticed. Im going to get a white one. Looks sleek. I might wait until my DS finnaly gets scratched enough. I have one little scratch on the right side of my touch screen, and it's really not noticable. My friend wants to buy my DS for about 60-70, so I might do that and get a Lite. Even though I have BIG hands, I should be alright. I had problems with the GBASP with size, but I managed...

Maybe you could try upping the latency, and also make sure that you have the port on your router (if you have one) open, or you will drop packets and desync.
From what I see, the emulator sends off button inputs to each player back and forth, this has to be relativley quick to make it work. Now, if you are useing a router, the router will allow some packets to drip in, but others will be looked at first and will desync you. This is why it is important to open the port. Lets get these tourneys started already!!! |

Is there a hack for Mega Man Zero (all of them hopefully) to have blood effects that were taken out of the American and European versions?

Oh wait...No. Its just a hidden "Homepage" filter on the registration page. Ingenious, but I'm sure not all spambots fill in the homepage field. |

Hm, I have seen this before. There was a PAL version of SMB I played once, and it constantly played it's music about 2 times faster then NTSC. I never understood it...

Sigh...The new ones...
Guess we were all new once =\ Anyways, this kind of thing is really not going to happen. Even if a level editor of some kind were to be made for SSB, it would be seen by users as, "Too Difficult". Editing a 3D enviroment is hard as it is(Trust me, I make CounterStrike/DoD maps), and doing something that wasn't ment to be done in the first place(Editing the levels) will be unstable, not worth it, and of course; hard. This should be the line in the sand right here. People, LEARN NOW. These kinds of things need to be kept to yourself. Noone is going to run out and spend weeks of research into a game to do something like this when someone asks; they will do it if THEY want to. Stop posting "Editor Plz" threads, and try something else for a change; LEARNING how to make one yourself. You can't always have everyone in life hold your hand =\ * I vote for a sticky for Editor Requests, so any threads that are similar to this can be closed on the spot. Of course, the Editor Request thread would only be there to humor the noobs until they figure out the truth. |

I play...Sometimes. Hey Xkeeper...Your a GM now?
Is it possible to delete my Forverdead account and give me my old Sonicandtails one back? For some reason, it says my password is wrong... Maybe transfer my items to the other one if possible, i don't know. -- Yea, hacks are always gonna be on private servers, so all we can do is eliminate them as we go. |

Unless the FAQ is still the new one from Xk, then I can understand. -- ANYWAYS. For all the people here that were sucked into that Emutalk link about a model editor, THERE IS NO MODEL EDITOR. One guy posted something he thought was a model editor, WHICH WAS REALLY JUST A PROGRAM TO MAKE INSTALLATION FILE FOR PROGRAMS. JRSoftware anyone? Anyways, another idiot was like, OMG MODEL EDITOR? And then another idiot was like HOLY FREAKING CRAP MODEL EDITOR WE NEED MODEL EXTRACTOR!!!. No. There is not a N64 model editor out there. Stop. Being. Stupid. Im quite sure THAT, is in the FAQ. -- As for the rest of the thread, stop talking about texture packs. This thread should've been seperated long ago anyways. This went from talk of extracting MIO0 files, to an editor. I request a seperation pronto for talk of the editor, as this thread has become too cluttered with many things. -- Stop fucking badgering VL about the editor also, no need to push the guy. Its not hard to highlight his editor and documents and press the delete key, confirm it, and empty the trash bin. Leave him alone god damnit. |

The problem is you downloaded a cracked copy.
I too love worms, as it was a cult in my class for awhile, but once we lost our CD. I took a whole week to try and find an iso, a nice cracked copy, anything. I once found a reasonable working, fully updated copy, but I needed a real Key to go online. Your copy is most likely straight outa a random P2P program, and most likely says something like, "Worms Armageddon: Full Game! (Hacked for WinXP, Cracked)[PROViSION]". Something like that. It dosn't work right at all. You get map errors, registry errors that give you the same random map every time. You get single player mission errors, the whole kit and caboodle. In closeing, you downloaded a cracked version of this game. Theres your answer. And we do have a rule here about no talk of Warez soooooooo.... Admins! Bring on the BACON!!!!! EDIT: One last thing. I noticed the pumpkin problems AFTER, and YES, that is an issue with that crack, and FURTHER prooves you downloaded it. Every level was edited to start and give you unlimited weapons. The original gives you about 3, which dont even drop from crates. CASE. CLOOOOOOOOSED. (edited by Sonicandtails on 07-09-06 10:40 AM) |

I'll take a stab at that fourth one of yours in a minute Squash, but I would like to gloat and point at the near perfect speed run I made on Squash's fifth one. Totally done by hand before I am accused of programed key strokes. Took me about 70 tries by the way(From tonight and then this morning)
I like this ALOT. I am definatly going to make some later. |

Theres mine. No clicky link for you. It is a showcase of glitches and tricks I made. I am writeing a walkthrough now. And uh...I'll look at that in a min Kyouji. We shall see.... EDIT: Well Kyouji. If I can stop fucking up on the last part with the H Blocks and the gaps, I can get a time of around 360. Wanna know how? I will share incase you can pull it off too. On the 3rd square, run to the middle, and when the second comes down jump over it on to the spring and you shave a bit of time. Then on the gap, just run and jump on to the first part of the gap and bunny hop(Dont stop running, just jump again) over. Heres the BIG time saver. By the time you get to those red bombs after the gap, they should be going the direction right and about to hit the wall. You have about 1 second of time to drop down, hit left and jump off the wall and go right over the little bastards. I have done it about 4 times, but I keep eather dieing at the last part because I try to jump the whole thing(Did it once), or dieing at those stand still ones before it because I try to jump without stopping after falling. Give it a shot. Its tough to get there on time, but when you do you just drop, hit left and jump off that wall. Works great. Anyways, time to try your map now Alastor...
