I remember you, you found some gravity codes for SMW and made blocks that are only passable if you have 5 dragon coins. You have my reccomendation for approval (I can't approve), because I've seen good grammar and intelligence from you.

By the way... welcome back to the board.

I like all of my squares up to 16 (except 13 and 15 squared), I like 60 (because it's divisible by many numbers), and lucky 7 (stereotype?).

Which one's me? I must be a part of this party.

Anyway, happy birthday! I guess we've had a few funny moments on IRC, and I think you're a pretty neat and helpful guy. (can't think of much else to say) Also, your MSPaint pictures rock.

I played the swatter game with a PAR code for infinite stings just because I (out of curiosity) wanted to see all the images. I got to the princess on the console, but on the emulator with savestates and PAR codes and whatnot, I got all of those images. It was 5 images per row, so the princess body lines up with her head. After "Very" and "Good", I'm pretty sure the images disappeared and started all over again. That was a little lame.

My thanksgiving day will be great, and so this week be in general.

On Monady, I'll turn in a poster project (what a load that'll take off my mind), and my grandparents will arrive. I really miss them, because I live in Georgia and they live in New Jersey and I rarely see them.

On Tuesday, evereyone in my grade is bringing a Thanksgiving food item to school, and we will feast on that for lunch. I'm bringing sweet potato casserole with a browned marshmallow crust. Yummy! Also, my homeroom teacher randomly permitted me to bring a DDR pad and StepMania to school, so that will be fun.

On Wednesday, I plan to sleep in for a really really long time.

On Thursday, we will have a tasty dinner since my mom and grandma can cook well. I love the gravy she makes from the turkey's drippings while being cooked.

On Friday, I'll try to get one or both of my grouped buddies to come over to my house (for an english-related website project we have to do), I'm gunna do the website and they'll help with the creativity and literature (I suck at both).

This week will be eventful for me, and out of ordinary from most weeks. And Thanksgiving break starts on Wednesday, so I'll also have alot time for RuneScape, yay.

Posted on 02-13-07 08:24 PM, in Windows Explorer (?) malfunctioning in Windows 2000 Professional Link
It's been a while since I last posted, but I really need some help. I am in my school's graphic arts unit, and I know more about computers than anyone else here (which isn't a whole lot, so we need some big help here). Anyway, one of my class's three computers is very important to the school in that we make all the newsletters, order forms and announcements on it, and all taken pictures that may be involved in the yearbook are managed on it. Last Friday (2/9/07), the computer was working fine. Over the weekend, my teacher and her friend did some work on Saturday that probably wasn't on the computer, and on Sunday, my teacher had her husband come over to do some work. He allegedly installed "System Mechanic 6" on all of the computers in the room, but I only found a shortcut for it on one computer, which wasn't the affected one.

When I got back on Monday and proceeded to open some folders to manage recent photos, I couldn't open Windows Explorer. I could not open My Computer, My Documents, any other folder, Control Panel, or even Internet Explorer (I am posting from a different computer). Now this is the old, old Windows 2000 Professional edition that can't even open or save anything but BMP's with MSPaint. Right now, our school is on a low budget, so buying a new OS is out of the question.

I would like, if possible, some ideas about what might be wrong, or pointers about how to solve the problem. I am not completely familiar with such terms as "BIOS" or anything, so I might need it to be dumbed down a little. Responses would be greatly appreciated. A few things I've tried:

-Google my problem, but I think my case was unique, because I couldn't find an answer.
-Opening explorer with task manager's "run" command, but it just shuts off the start bar, system tray, and shortcuts, then turns them on again and switches off my active desktop.
-Using an "open..." dialog for Notepad to browse the computer then copy explorer.exe in the C:/WINNT folder to a floppy, and compare it with the explorer.exe on another computer; they are the same.
-Trying to open other programs to see if it affected many things, but anything except Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer work fine. (I can run StepMania and Microsoft Office Publisher fine)

Thank you for your help, if you do so, because it's really important that we get the computer running properly again!

"Run" works, and I can access and use Command Prompt from it (however it doesn't seem to do much), but the person who got all the computers running here doesn't work here, and he probably has the CD's for the computers. Other than that, there are no Windows 2000 Professional CD's here.

Thank you, I'll leave him a note to try that and/or leave the CD here since he comes here sometimes.
