Either way, it's a good way for the more lurky kinds to get a free post. Or for the more chatty kinds to get... lots... of free posts. Oftentimes, an introduction can help, also, for the ones who actually look in this forum to actually try to find out about people.

It's possible to falsify lie detector readings. Not saying it happened here, but it's possible.

Since all you've given us is a single screen...

First off, the title's not particularly creative; 3/4 hackers have probably used it at some point for one of their projects. The 4 needs a bit of work; you have that much space from the 3, USE IT.

You definitely didn't do that in 1988, so... you should definitely change that.

It's annoying... they changed the natural order of things! I'm used to seeing (and ignoring, since I've read them before) a bunch of Sticky: posts at the top of the forums... and now they've changed them! It draws my eyes too easily.

I don't know how well the direct approach works, emcee. You'll always have the ones who are too shy to answer directly.

And... it's hard to say how a guy will act. They could try to do things to be with you, yes, but... there's always the chance that they'll get qualified as "creepy" and stop doing anything that even resembles affectionate.

You know, I don't think it really matters if you like it or not, there are plenty who do. It's not like they're going to put some better show on or anything...

Besides, who seriously watches the KidsWB stuff, anyway?

Actually, I can see one benefit from having the show off the air: fewer people bashing the actual games based on it. Of course, that seems to have died down quite a bit, but... yeah.

Of course Linux is going to be a bit volatile... considering how many different people are working on different versions of it...

Of course, there's also the fact that if you know what you're doing, you can be one of the ones working on changing it, and that's something unique. Open-source stuff is interesting, sometimes.
