You are teachers. Teachers are asked the same questions many times each year. I know they get paid for it, but you also get something... given that you want the SMW hacking scene to stay alive, that is. ... and teachers also had to start by going to school. I've tried to solve this problem by creating a so called "N00b SMW Hacking" forum at my board. Every thread that's more than 7 days old gets deleted automatically. With this forum, I want to avoid moderators and other users flaming n00bs and closing their threads by simply not answering them if they don't want to. Maybe Acmlm should have the same. If you think about it... the time it takes for someone to fetch a proper "THIS THREAD SUCKS" image, write a message to flame the poster, and click the close thread button... Does it actually take less time than actually answering the question? Or is it just to show that you are a mighty moderator? (edited by Boom.dk on 06-24-06 06:07 AM) |

And now for the actual update: You can now submit RAM/ROM addresses. If there is any of the ones that are already there that you would like to update, simply submit a new and add to the description, that it was meant as an update. |

| You may think it's weird to post an image in the Hardware / Software forum. Well, this image is rather strange. When you open it and look at it, it has one motive. However, if you stick it in a folder, click it, and look at its preview in the left side panel, it looks completely different. How is that possible? |

| I didn't know preview information was already in the JPEG. Mainly because back at Windows 98 it always said "Generating preview...". I still can't see why you would waste space having previews in the JPEGs. They are supposed to be small (or smaller, at least) images, right? | |||

| Ok. The type of crabs that you eat only gets red when boiled. Same for shrimps and lobsters.
I cannot know what other weird types of those things the sea holds. Who knows? You might find a red crab. |

| Yes, Kyouji, that's exactly what I'm saying. I agree with you about the students being awful, but you probably weren't much better when you started in school. Ok, ok, most of the people here are older than you were at that time, and should exercise common sense a little more. I can see it from their point of view, though. I would also rather have someone answer my questions than look through an endless number of manuals and guides and such.
... but of course you shouldn't do their homework. |

Anyway, yeah. This is why I think there needs to be a n00b SMW hacking forum. So that we can take away their ability to post here, without them being unable to get questions answered. So they can help themselves out. So we won't have to care.
