I thereby request permission to post in the Hacking Forums on Acmlm's Board (Namely Rom Hacking, Super Mario World Hacking and Pokémon Hacking).

I hereby declare not to ask questions, wich could be solved with a single search on a search engine or a quick read in a enclosed FAQ or Readme.

I also will first search the board, the internet or other various places before I even think of opening or even bumping a thread in the named boards.

I also oblige the rules and FAQs of this board in general and will obay them as I write, read and post on the pages described therein.

I announce that I have a little expirience in using rom-editors, hex-editors or YY-char. That I also know the difference between C++ and C, and I'm capable of learning a programming language or other means of manipulating computing machines on my own, and only ask if the internet or litrature can't teach me new.

I will test and let my hacks or publications be proffread or tested by other persons before I publish them. Screenshots allways included.

I thank the administration in advance.

Yours Truly

Congrats on your hacking progress in Super Mario Kart.

And the graphics look very detailed, even more than the original characters.

And if there would come big Probs with Jesus in a racing game, just rename him Juck Noris or something.

You say, DJBouche's Track Designer, as in, DJBouche - our down under hack tool good, who never finishes a projects and Kawa ends up with them - DJBouche?

He is alive and coding! (Yihaa! Good to know!)

Say Hi from me (Imoto).

And I just wonder what kind of courses Impala came up with.

This bug is nothing new, you can easily reproduce it during the final battle while standing left and wait or run. A Jump and your out there.

I had the most problems with the egypt levels.

And graphical its badical for gameboy.

The current record for Donkey Kong ('94) is 1:16:18, but it's not a TAS.

But if someone does a TAS, please do not use the SGB emulation, as it lacks many SGB-Specific things (like the hole SNES-Part except the colours and borders).

Talking about GBS, GBS-Players are really flawed, no GBS player plays Donkey Kong correct.

I have a spare Super Mario Sunshine laying around. And you want to trade Paper Mario 2.

Now as this is an international Board, wich Versions do you have? Mine is the Japanese Super Mario Sunshine for Game Cube.

I would say that both are about equal in classical 2D applications.

But the GBA has more potential right out of the box, while the SNES needs additional chips to get really ass kickin' and takeing names.

such basic math here in this thread...

Tatrion's

t=(2(j-14)/(105d)

spel werdz rite:
Do you have some other equation for a system?
Else you would be stuck with

x(ax^2+bx+c)=d

and finally xk's math:

4x
x^2+4x+4
x^2+6x+9
16x

The GBA would be fulla capable to run a port of starfox. Yoshi's Island, wich is really nice ported and only features a few slowdowns here and there, uses the FX2 chip, wich just two Super FX chips in tandem.

Also was Doom ported to GBA. So if Nintendo would have done it, it would look better than the SNES-one.

But in the sound-departement, quality wise, the SPC700 of the SNES is way better than the GBA, only drawback is, that it does not really support direct streaming from the cart. (Maybe to some extend, I never saw it widely used (Tales of Phantasia maybe).

But GBA-Games overall lack of good sound quality, is due to that Sound on the GBA draws on resources for the rest of the game, similar to the N64.

Ooh, here's another one. When you do collision detection against a group of polygons in 3D, make sure you're adding the coordinates of the group as a whole to those of the polygons. (Doesn't help when one of the groups is at (0,0,0), making the routine appear to work some times but not others.)

It's like, you have to know wich coordinates are occupied, and by wich element.

I once did some colision detection in 2D, it's simple as long as it's rectangular..
