Originally posted by Riku I do believe that the smiley used there perfectly depicts the knowledge of your statement. As said before, all games that are stored on CD's are emulated as ISO's, whilest cartridge games are ROM's. So by none of us getting it, since KH is an ISO, and 2007's in the future, and whereas the Japanese ISO of KH probably came out somehwere around 2003 or so... yeah. Also, the difference in a GB ROM download and a PS2 ISO download is ginourmous. Sort of like comparing a... well, uh 300 Kb file to a 3 Gb file. Or around that, I've never succesfully downloaded something that big on 56k, even on Bittorrent, so I wouldn't know the exact size. |

A powerup effect for the frog suit could be a double jump feature. You know, a mid-air jump. Looking at my sig, you could figure that I sort of enjoy that feature in games. =P

Oh... nevermind then. I don't suppose you can give a complete list of all the current suits, could you? I presume that the four you mentioned are the only ones with power-up effects right now, and those are the only suits I know of. Edit: nvm, didn't see the post above my previous one. =P (edited by Metal Knuckles on 03-25-06 09:46 PM) |

Interesting near-tragedy.
I went over to EB, and for the first time ever THEY LET ME DOWN! I waltzed up to, let's call him Overweight Living-with-Mother Man, and the following is an accurate description of what happened: Me: Hello, good sir! Overweight Living-with-Mother Man: Shut up and tell me what you want. Me: Fine, let's get down to buisness. I pre-ordered Kingdom Hea- Overweight Living-with-Mother Man: Not on stock yet. Me: Uhh, wha'? Overweight Living-with-Mother Man: The manager told us not to put it up until tomorow. Me: But you guys said that you were releasing it today just this weekend! Overweight Living-with-Mother Man: *Grunts* Me: I pre-ordered it under those expectations! This is false advertisement! Overweight Living-with-Mother Man: Meh. Me: [string of obscenities] Overweight Living-with-Mother Man: Oh wait! I hear the pitter patter of fries in the food court! Don't worry, greasy morsels, I shall eat you! *Flies away* Me: ... WTF!?! So yeah, I drive out of there pissed as a mad race horse, and stop at the local Best Buy, since the only thing that would piss me off even more is finding out that I drove away and they had it all along. Well, they did, and I only lost $5 for pre-ordering at EB, so I'm happy. Now, for the first scene of the game... it's just... really... oh... *Fungasms* |

How to describe it thus far...
*Fungasms again* They really did bring up the battle system a notch. Trigger commands are my new lover. |

Definantly more like the latter, except you can stack trigger commands on trigger commands to pull of artsy combos against enemies and bosses. Also, the drive feature is awsome to an extreme.

I really don't think that spoiler was needed this far into the thread. =P
If anything is negative about this game (and believe me, it's the only things), it's the voiceovers for Cid and Areith. Cid sounds like a hic, and every time Areith opens her mouth I want to make like a tree and put a bullet through the TV. I haven't gotten to N'Sync's newest member Sephiroth, but hopefully when I do, he'll sound evil. Or something. Also, Auron totally win's the cool cameo award in this game. Beat Jack Sparrow even. |

Auron was always schpieling about someone or another's "own story" in FFX. Tidus just stole it for himself at the beginning, aka towards the end of the game.
Ansem's voice isn't that bad, just a little deeper. And Diz's voice... man, was anyone expecting that? |

7 days isn't really considered a bump. Now if it were a month...

Ansem's voice? You mean-
*Shot by the spoiler prevention squad* Ow, damnit! Anywho, I just got through with the Hollow Bastion fight (you'll know which one). Holy. Shit. To the extreme on so many levels. |

What I'm wondering is about that letter from SEGA of UK. Did they really react that quickly to the bittorrent release? Holy shit, unless this is another April Fool's Joke. If not, I feel bad for drx and Stephen.
But for now, I'm placing DD's letter under a "check into." If you are completely serious DahrkDaiz, then post on your honor as a modder. Something tells me that you wouldn't if it were an April Fools joke. But if you do... well, sometimes we all gotta remember that something called "copyright laws" exist out there. We can all be screwed over, given time. |

My... God... download... so... LONG!
How perfect is this guide, as I wait 2 hours and 34 minutes for it to download? Anything I can't already find on these forums or caches of the old ACMLM board? Because that's what I've always used for information. |

Well, better prepare your sandwiches and juiceboxes, because you're gonna be in Hollow Bastion for another 5 hours. Also, prepare to see Mickey Mouse acting like a Final Fantasy character in an extremely depressing yet awsome cut scene. =/

Penny Arcade had another good one, but I figured that one was good enough for this thread. =P |

Originally posted by Riku I pointed that odd relationship out in the secret bosses thread. It is surprisingly similar, isn't it? Spoiler: Of course, Final Fantasy creators have always made referances to Star Wars, examples being Biggs and Wedge in a lot of their games (as well as Chrono Trigger). Still, he's a helluva lot easier to beat in the second game. |

About six hacks are being done so far, with mine included. Mine just doesn't seem to enjoy the thought of speedy working, so I must oblige and work very, very, slooooowwwwwwlllllyyyy. =/

Spoiler:
Zigbar wasn't that hard. You just had to know how to move and when. I found that using the warp command with the lasers simplified the fight a bit. I beat it under 30 hours as well, but there's still a lot of replaying that needs to be done. Forms to upgrade, journals to complete, ect. Spoiler: And my god, this last boss... I thought the fight against Ansem in KH took a long time, but... sweet jesus, this was long AND somewhat difficult. Or at least the last part was. The rest was just lots of eye candy, like with the using skyscrapers and reaction commands. |

I love this gummi ship system. Favorite route has to be the one between Port Royal and Agrahba. It's like they ripped a level straight out of F-Zero X, dropped some heartless into it, and gave you an Airwing. =P
Also, found some more Star Wars references. Spoiler: That gummi route to Twilight Town at the end of the game can't be based off of anything but the Death Star, and quite possibly the fight at the beggining of Episode III. Also, did anyone notice Sora and Riku's limit "light saber", which seems to have big beams of light replace their keyblades? |

By a different Zelda, do you mean a new ROM, or a completely different Zelda game? It might help to be a little more clear with that. And let this be a lesson to you, backups are your friends. |
