a wireless adapter plugged into a wired port... why would you want to do that? I'm not sure if there is even stuff like that. I know you can convert a wired port to wireless but wireless to wired? it is possible, but not sure why don't you just buy a wired NIC and sell your wireless NIC | |||

it could be the case you need to configure the router to let your wireless card see the router in terms of giving the router the MAC address of the wireless card. I recall a D-Link router having that capability.
As for what you want to do, it should work in theory but I think there is something in your router configuration that causes it to block any traffic coming from your wireless card. |

what's the internal IP address of your computer and your sisters? I'm not sure how access points work but I think there is a double NAT within your network as an access point allows one port of entry for many wireless connections, similar to what your router does to allow multiple computers connect to the internet. Finally getting over my best friend... I adore her way to much for my own good
other stuff: - getting more sleep (5 hrs or less per day isn't healthy) - taking less units (most people take 12 and I go for 20 or more ) |

I didn't read any of the books--probably won't... Given that, I believed the movie to be alright. Yes, I do believe certain parts do not belong, the teenage band part, Hermoine's rant on Ron and Harry (that totally came out of nowhere), myrtle's "fun".. I do agree Dumbledore doesn't seem what I believe his role is in the books...maybe ian mackellan doesn't work in this part
either way, the movie is alright, enjoyable...but not worth the $9/$6 dollars for it. It is better off as a DVD rental IMO |

To find the in use IP address of a computer (what I was referring to in my question) and assuming it has windows running.
1) Start->Run->"cmd" 2) ipconfig You should see something that looks like this: Windows IP Configuration Ethernet adapter Internet: Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : gateway.2wire.net IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.65 Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.254 The in use IP address is on the line of "IP Address". For troubleshooting purposes, could you copy and paste the result of typing ipconfig for each computer. |

um...probably, but I wasn't there to observe it
have you ever bought a gift for someone knowing they'd have no use for it? |
