anyways, i'm sure parallel parking is something they'll not fail you for...if you run onto the curb now, that is something i'd worry more

a wireless adapter plugged into a wired port... why would you want to do that? I'm not sure if there is even stuff like that. I know you can convert a wired port to wireless but wireless to wired? it is possible, but not sure why don't you just buy a wired NIC and sell your wireless NIC

you made your post one minute before it was edited...so, you probably aren't crazy...or didn't misread

as for me...rewind would be fun--when things don't go right, try and try again

it could be the case you need to configure the router to let your wireless card see the router in terms of giving the router the MAC address of the wireless card. I recall a D-Link router having that capability.

As for what you want to do, it should work in theory but I think there is something in your router configuration that causes it to block any traffic coming from your wireless card.

what's the internal IP address of your computer and your sisters? I'm not sure how access points work but I think there is a double NAT within your network as an access point allows one port of entry for many wireless connections, similar to what your router does to allow multiple computers connect to the internet.

Ok, today the Customer Service Supervisor called me and straightened everything out real quick especially when I mentioned these words, "breach of contract" and "class action lawsuit". They immediately dropped my dsl not from $36 to $25 but from $36 all the way down to $21 for my dsl pro until the end of June. You know what they say "the customer is always right"

And in end of June I will just cancel (after contract ends) and get a rerate for the same price.

are you sure it is until the end of june (i.e 6 months) and not for one year? Because I heard the same deal from SBC (same customer service call) and after 6 months, it goes back to $36...

Now that brings into the question of fate versus chance... and well, that is a whole different story so there is a possibility that the same thing is done over and over again but will it always be the case...

anyways, i just realized pause would be better however...it is fun for pranks but what good is a prank unless you have others to enjoy it with? unless your friends like seeing the end result of one and not setting it up...

Finally getting over my best friend... I adore her way to much for my own good

other stuff:
- getting more sleep (5 hrs or less per day isn't healthy)
- taking less units (most people take 12 and I go for 20 or more )

I didn't read any of the books--probably won't... Given that, I believed the movie to be alright. Yes, I do believe certain parts do not belong, the teenage band part, Hermoine's rant on Ron and Harry (that totally came out of nowhere), myrtle's "fun".. I do agree Dumbledore doesn't seem what I believe his role is in the books...maybe ian mackellan doesn't work in this part

either way, the movie is alright, enjoyable...but not worth the $9/$6 dollars for it. It is better off as a DVD rental IMO

To find the in use IP address of a computer (what I was referring to in my question) and assuming it has windows running.

1) Start->Run->"cmd"
2) ipconfig

You should see something that looks like this:

Windows IP Configuration

Ethernet adapter Internet:

Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : gateway.2wire.net
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.65
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.254

The in use IP address is on the line of "IP Address". For troubleshooting purposes, could you copy and paste the result of typing ipconfig for each computer.
