clearly somebody (probably a dinosaur) is destroying the internet, just as we have destroyed the homes of those humble creatures before us.
IT'S JUST KARMA, ALL RIGHT??? |

blast, tommathy! the only way i can one-up that is by posting some of the stuff google images gave me for "asian teddy bear," but they all involve naked boobies.
i concede defeat. |

i was kind of hoping this would have some kind of picture or animated re-enactment. i guess it just goes to show that you should only make crosses that you would actually crucify people on. | |||

this was my final project for a class i took this spring. it's hard to read the text normally, let alone with the compression used to put it online, but enjoy.
it's done in pixilation (stop motion, in layman's terms), with lots of fancy shmancy digital editing. the music and sound effects were done with a game genie and a casio toy keyboard. http://www.dootdootbeep.org/shit/lightromance.wmv |

the first one is the first comic, the second one is the second comic. the first one is wittier, but i guess that's why i'm only trying to do one per week. after the comic i used to do, i figured i should try to do something similar in content and style, but slightly more detailed and adhering more closely to a set style. thoughts?

thanks. anal retentiveness has been key to the aesthetic. i was thinking of doing animations of or in the style of the comic, but so far, it's been taking long enough to just do it like this. here's number three:

actually, craig, you seem to take more of an issue with phonetic and internet-specific abbreviations than case and punctuation.
but anyway, the issue you're dealing with is de facto spelling reform! in the news!!! in wikipedia! the tendency for people to want things to be simpler has fueled stupid abbreviations. cell phones with their text messaging and whatnot make it even more tempting to take shortcuts. it will never catch on in full, but it is happening, albeit at a slow pace. language as you know it is changing before your eyes and you are desperately hanging on to the past! |

wow, i'm dumbfounded by your disrespect for pee-wee. that show was great when i was a kid, and having seen it again, i think it's got tremendous appeal now as well. the innuendo is pretty thick, and (particularly when you're stoned) the entire show is extraordinarily crazy and engaging.
as for him being creepy, uhh...why? there's no evidence of the child pornography thing; it was just some investigators looking to crucify someone, and obviously a collector of erotic artwork is a pretty easy target. "misdemeanor obscenity"? honestly, if the local laws were socially backwards enough and somebody wanted to, they could pin that on just about anyone for looking at porn or owning dirty magazines. paul reubens is your standard liberal hollywood actor type. okay, bob saget: america's funniest home videos and full house, right? has anyone seen his stage show? come on. i'm ashamed of you all for being so square. maybe cartoon network is trying to attract a different crowd than just geeky cartoon lovers? |
