A screenie of my Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest Hack. It's the first level of my hack, codenamed Diddy Hack.

I estimate my editor will be released to the public around the release date of the Revolution, so why not learn ASM hacking and attempt to make your own?!

I would, believe me, but I'm not going to tell anyone anything about it until I feel it is necessary (when someone brings up a topic, then I'll explain everything.) Until then, people will just have to wait.

That particular screenshot is fake, and I wanted to see how soon you would notice. Great job finding those details out, though

There is a DKC2 level editor in progress, but I wish to not discuss it until further notice.

Sorry to be off topic, but is there a level editor for SMB3 that runs on Windows XP?

A mini glitch.....

If half of an object (such as a block) is offscreen, the cursor will be off place. Hard to explain.

I'm proud of you, VL-Tone! Your editor will revolutionize N64 hacking! *actually marks calendar*

Also, I love "Toad's Tool 64", it just sounds great!

I'll help, but I'll ONLY use those 2 characters.

It's because I'm making a hack myself, and I alreadyI have 6 of the 8 original characters changed and edited (I first edit the sprites on MSPaint, and copy them directly to TLP) and I'll use Bubsy and the other person for the 2 characters. Please give me about a week, and I'll upload the IPS patch.

VL-Tone: Will the beta version have the option to change the music bytes found in a particular level? For example, can the Snow Theme be used in Lethal Lava Land?

No problem, glad to help

I've already started it, and yes, it's very hard.

I've decided to quit "your" hack, because:

1) I don't want credit for it.
2) I've never played a Bubsy game.
3) It's a waste of my time in general.

I'm sorry, but if you want a Bubsy hack to be complete, do it yourself.

Super Mario Kart graphics hacking takes time and skill. You have to edit the sprites ahead of time, copy them gently and accurately to tile layer pro, and make sure that the colors are what you want them to be. Like I said, it's very hard. I've been working on a Super Mario Kart hack since last October, and it only has 6/8 of the characters fully complete.

I recommend beginning on something easy, like Super Mario Bros. As you get more and more farmiliar with Tile Layer Pro, graphics editing, etc., then it might be time for Super Mario Kart.

Your hack was wonderful. I can't wait until you release your next Demo, and possibly the full game edit. A little work needs to be on your '9' , because it seems to be missing something...
