Grey blows the door to Tendusia's office open, and as the dust clears, tosses him a small DVD. On it is labeled the words "Old Wack-A-Clone Archives : To Be Used until Zerodius Returns". He gives Tendusia the thumbs-up, and snaps his fingers as the door flies back onto its hinges and he makes a quick exit.

I'm a Ghandi kinda guy. What can I say?

I like to think, though, that socially and economically I am more ruthless than this compass suggests, I simply have a lot of idealism that points towards the individual and the individual's rights to choose how to live their life and to do right or wrong.

Oh, another thing: I DO consider myself a neocommunist, in that I do believe that the government should definitely have control over businesses both to regulate distribution of product and to ensure that a fair, rather than free, market exists. Gigantic companies and mass production only lead to a lower standard of quality among products. I have always held this belief, ever since I began reading about mass production and the economy in my spare time.

I'd like my old game to be continued, please, Mr. Z. I waited a long time for it, and I did a lot of preparing, and I feel that it would be unfair for you to discontinue it, when I was the last poster and am obviously a very active member of the roleplaying community.

Grey's Level is now 10!
Offense increased by 1!
Oh baby!
Defense increased by 2!
Oh baby!
M.Defense increased by 2!

Grey realized the power of Punch 2!
Grey realized the power of Kick 2!
Grey realized the power of Dance 2!
Grey realized the power of Confuse 2!
Grey realized the power of Roundkick 2!

Having suddenly gained an awesome boost in sheer power, Grey happily strides, nay, DANCES! over to the old Goomba, speaking in goombese and requesting four skill levels.

He then flops down on one of those soft, lovely beds, and puts ten coins in the coin-op slot for a nice, refreshing nap.

Grey snapped out of his offline trance, and cracked his neck. The last few days had been a lot of work...

Grey: "Oooh.... I feel like cra---SCHWA!"

He eyes his greatest creation's greatest rival and instantly zooms toward him, glomping him to the n^th power.

"Haha, dude, we so gotta continue Sandsalot, I've got plans for those two, BIG plan--- wait, you're not the Schwa I want to talk to..."

He releases Schwa, and suddenly claps his hand on top of Schwa's cranium, penetrating the fourth wall for juuuuuust an instant.

'So like, yeah, Hunt, we gotta continue that tale. You know where the archive is, right?'

OOC: Don't forget, Kalar IS Ghost-type... Fighting moves don't affect him by the Pokemon rules, and you also have to be hit by counter for it to affect anyone. But at the same time, he IS a physical being, and since Charizard only took situational (i.e. tactically limiting) damage, I'll improvise.

Kalar: "Oh, FU---" *crash/shatter!*

Wrap wasn't all that powerful of a single-shot attack, but the expletive was more towards the fact that Kalar was now completely thrown off balance. As the Charizard swung him towards the side of the building, Kalar used what little control he had over the chain (it was, after all, made of the same near-immaterial, Ghostlike substance as his scythe blade) to steady himself, landing hard, but on his feet, on the side of the building. He crashed through a window, and the blade in the Charizard's hand disappeared as Kalar exercised his shadowy powers...

The harrowing screams of thousands of souls, damned and cursed, surrounded Charizard. A star suddenly burned in the tarmac of the building's rooftop beneath his clawed feet, drawn from five lines that crossed around him and burning with an unearthly fire...

"Don't look at me, I only sent you one."
"That means one of them is trying to cause me trouble by throwing me off. I'll investigatte them both."

And Schwa speeds off, no longer on the trail of Janus but of someone else. Sensae laughs again.

Janus sighs as the wind rushes through his hair... This really was quite pleasant, the surf and wind blowing through his hair, and at the rate they were moving it'd be only a short time until they reached the next town. NuBodia... It had a nice ring to it.

That blue ether, however... It worried him. He had noticed it surge outward when he had sped everything up. The fact that he was losing control of it suggested one of two things; that the ether was some kind of foreign being, growing beyond his capacity to hold it, like some kind of cancerous disease, or that it was integrating itself with him and becoming a permanent part of his powers... Janus didn't like that idea at all. The power, as he had noted before, was true and strong, but ultimately very empty... The power of a Psi Warrior required souls as a symbiote, which Janus had very little to show for.

Janus glanced over at Yiusi as he strove to hide a look of distress on his face. The Aether... The Ether, the Psi, and the Life Aspects... What did they mean to someone who was already dead? If the power kept growing, without a true soul Janus might never be able to feed it. He feared... He feared that it might destroy him in all its righteous power.

And Yiusi, who had already after only knowing him for such a short time shown that she thought he was a good man... She was involved with it all, as well. Could she destroy him, too?

He didn't want to think about it right now, and instead he concentrated on enjoying the moment. Would be a good time to strike up some conversation... The surf would be a little muffling, but if he shouted out, it'd be fairly easy for her to hear him.

Janus: "So, Yiusi, you like music?"

His voice echoed over the ocean, in the windy sea air it was carried far...

....A little too far...

Kalar grinned as he felt the flames above him burn mildly. The fire was really just for effect... The star, of course, was a fairly symbolic component to his next trick, which he had spent the last few seconds preparing.

Kalar: "Hellstorm!!!"

From the star came a blast of dark energy, fearsome power that passed right through Charizard's shadowy self. It rose up into the sky and formed deep, pitch-black storm clouds wrought from the ashes and smoke that filled the pits from whence Kalar's righteously misused power came... They formed into a dense miasma that mixed with the water vapors in the air and created a buildup of charged ions.

(thinking): 'Star, it looks like I stole more from you than I thought, back in the day...'

A series of bolts of shining electric-blue lightning crackled down from the sky, aimed at the five points of the star. They collected and caged around the Charizard for a few seconds, then sparked, sending five bolts of high-voltage power straight at it!

Eh, I don't really ask for anything anymore for Christ Day. Usually I get what I want out of it, or what I need. This year, I wouldn't mind getting my hands on a few games, for once (Suikoden Tactics, maybe some decent DS stuff...). But, at the same time, I do make enough money to find my gaming exploits of my own volition.

I'm just NOT looking forward to the holidays where I have to find the stuff on everyone ELSE'S JCBDay list. Already today I had a parent start swearing at me because she grabbed the wrong toy for her kid. I hope you guys are all good little SaviorCommerce shoppers, it'll be the BEST charity for guys like me. And after all, being kind to your fellow man means Santa will bring you all great gifts.

OhgodohgodohgodohgodIcanhearthefanboyinmetalking...

I can't wait for this damn game to come out! ARGH! I LOVED Kingdom Hearts so much! But still, there ARE things I'm not looking forward to in the next one... Like the POTC and Tron worlds. I really feel like all Disney is doing is capitalizing on the popularity of those movies (well, maybe not Tron 2.0) to garner attention from the masses. It seems like that was the only reason the stages were thrown in there, similar to how Halloweentown was in the original.

On the other hand, Halloweentown turned out to be one of my favorite levels, and Jack Skellington was my second-favorite guest party member. The first was The Beast, which brings me to my next thought:

The Beauty and The Beast segment I'm really looking forward to. B&B is my favorite Disney movie out of all of them, and I want to see exactly what the fight against The Beast himself (the one they pointed to in the trailer video for KH2 at E3 last year) entails... If they do it right, he'll be a real challenge, simply because Sora will have to fight his sheer awesomeness alongside his brute strength.

I didn't like Pirates of the Carribean... I thought it was delightfully witty at times, and very good in terms of the movies that were out at the time and are out currently, but it really did feel very... You know, Disney. On the inside, I mean. There was never enough happening in the background. Everything was all happy and witty and comedy-of-manners and whee-we-aren't-pirates-that-rape-and-pillage-and-plunder-and-sack-and-loot-drink-up-me-hearties-yo-ho... There wasn't enough happening in the background, it wasn't dirty enough or gritty enough for me to believe it was a real pirate movie. It did feel a lot like I was just watching the POTC ride at Disneyworld again. That's what I'm afraid the POTC level is going to be, a marketing strategy. They've really got to make it good.

So yeah.... Can't wait, woohoo, been waiting for two damn years now, this better be fucking awesome.

Nintendo Fanboy sez:

We here at Toys R Us are readily awaiting, with our kevlar jackets and bomb shelters, for this coming Tuesday, when the Xbox 360 is released to the public. It has been reported that Thomas "Grey" Mitchell is planning to be as many miles away from any commercial vendor as possible while the cacaphony of devastating mainstream-media-endorsed-facade-of-gaming known as the Xbox 360 is shelved and immediately bought up by the ravenous, trendy, MTV-watching masses.

Rock on.

To continue my competition with Emptyeye...

So. Healing Vision (Angelic Mix). With a B. On 1.5, but still a B. Now to try to master 1.

I've found that there is no real walk to it, some of the spins you really do have to just double step. Only a nonhuman or DD could do it without becoming in the very least a little disoriented.

On the plus side, I DID full combo the entire final stream of the song and pull myself into a rather satisfying B grade. (that is, in case you didn't know, a solid 30 seconds of straight stream at HVAM's already beefy speed)

To add to that list, I also A'ed I Feel..., B'd V Oni since we last met, and A'ed Witch Doctor. My newest projects are Exotic Ethnic, PARANOiA Rebirth, Legend of Max, and So Deep. Thus far the only ones I've really made progress on are EE and Rebirth... I'm very close to passing Rebirth, and EE I still need some more speed for if I want to cap that stream. So Deep is probably going to never really be fully mastered by me, and Legend of Max? Well, the highest I can get while using the bar is about 30 seconds into it. I'll be a little prouder when I can hit the slow part and still go strong.

I also tried Trip Machine Survivor today... C'd it. Not a bad mix, Hiryuu, but I don't see what had you so worked up over it so long ago.

Dear Cymoro and Kyouji...

Keep in mind, please, that your standards of humor are often very different than the target audience of the humor's creator. This in no way implies that you are tasteless in your consumption of Riku's jokes, but at the same time, as the same could be easily said by any one person on the internet about any work that you people submit, your opinions are no more valid than the next person's, and therefore should not be pressed any harder than his or hers. You have NOT:

-Described your views on comedy to Riku so that perhaps he could possibly change his style so that it was wittier and more entertaining.

-Done anything other than come into this situation biased against sprite comics, despite the fact that as long as you stop regarding them as art and start regarding them as a source of entertainment from people who want to please but can only write and not draw they'd be a lot more appreciated. Perhaps showing him where his grammar incorrections or his ---- ah, fuck it.

Riku, you were totally right to want to stop making this comic. It really does suck. You need to follow Zem's advice, Cymoro's advice, and Kyouji's blatant bashing of sprite comics and find a new medium to express yourself. Some of your sillier jokes were good, I did giggle at a few of them, but it was the giggle of a man who has seen that humor before and fondly remembered it entertaining him back when he did. Try again, please, but next time maybe you should reconsider your art form. A story, one you write yourself and keep on paper, leaving the visuals to the imagination of the reader? Or maybe you could try really drawing, nobody's truly bad at it (except maybe me), after all.

Request fulfilled, Riku. Thread title's been changed. I hope you try again sometime soon.

I have an appreciation for Irritability's art style and humor, it reminds me a lot of Dominic Deegan, a comic that you all should read, but the jokes and the setting are pretty good too, the modern feel definitely contributes nicely to the sarcastic humor.
