I'm going to check this thread every day now, this could be the site the emulation/hacking scene has needed for awhile, or something like that.

Yeah, well I remember that money tree thing, and the whole shoot the ducks thing! I still have an image Acmlm made of what it would look like on the NES, and my strange "fangame" based off of it!

Now that, is old school.

It's about time I add my own friend code, so that these random names in my list may be able to face me. I've not the best of luck though, being that soon after I got the WFC for christmas I got sick.

I doubt it, but I hope this new years thing could be turned into a theme or layout, the rainbow thread listing is awesome, and the timer wouldn't be too bad to have year round on the theme, just for fun. If only the text was dynamic... trippy

I've gotten so used to the board, that if I was partially blinded I'd still be able to find new thread... if I could see just slightly.

SMW is a two-dimensional game, so what do you think?

While the menu shows it's obviously an image edit, I should just make that as a level in SMW just to spite you. XD Not sure how well it'd play but it'd be neat.

This sounds like something that'll get me to replay it atleast three times, a good plan for an already great looking hack to make replayability. As for Shadow, I think that he should have some ability related to his jet boots, such as maybe a half a second float time when running off a ledge, or perhaps gravity while running is totally negated or highly lowered, not forcing you into a ball, allowing you to make a jump or run past close together platforms before you fall below them. One way to restrict a power like that would be to give him worse handling along with the slight speed edge against Sonic, as well as perhaps requiring rings to enhance the effect.

Yes, this is true. In some kind of interview or something they spoke of how they couldn't get it in before release because the online engine is quite different from the offline one. You can note how there's other differences made to reduce lag such as the removal of courses that had too many moving things, which technically work but may of caused lag in some conditions or had problems they couldn't fix, atleast not without an annoying delay past Christmas or such. Tripple banannas were removed too I think, perhaps to reduce needless track litter causing more positions to be sent per frame, and triple shells too were removed, though it would of been nice if they just made it like Doube Dash!! where they don't circle, but alot of the use of them is the sheild type style anyway. I so love ramming into people with a triple green shell.

He did indeed talk, atleast in the japanese version. Well, maybe not talk, but he said several words of favorite things like Watermelon, and I think he did an entire preview for a next episode!

My guess is one: It works only almost flawlessly, and probably like holding items behind you it seems simple to fix but would probably be more complex coding wise. That or the lag would be bigger under conditions like racing SSMTers from the other side of the world who all keep getting blue shells.

Oh, and on topic: I picked Waluigi Pinball, it's hard to pick because the game has alot of cool tracks, SMB3 refrences, and so on, but that level has the cool sound effects and the general neon pinball thing going.

It helps not make the other games obsolete, why get the GBA game when you got a mostly superior game here with all the tracks? Simple, don't put them all in. Plus it'd take up even more space, require more remaking, more time for testing, and such. The SNES Mario Kart was never ported, and such had all it's tracks put in Super Circuit, though alot of stuff was removed from them I heard. I wonder if SMK will be available on the Revolution at start?

Oh yeah, favorite track, favorite track.... Frappe Snowland for me. I just love the music, the atmosphere, I'm just a snow level fan.

You could simply make each coin be one bullet of ammunition, and have something that says only shoot a fireball when coins>0, and if so, subtract one coin. I'm sure someone else could do that right? Then again I hear the rom there is pretty tight.

I sometimes wash my hands even when I don't use the toilet in the bathroom. I figured it was normal to wash your hands after you used the toilet no matter what, and that the only debate would be if you open the door before you wash your hands, leaving your hands clean after washing but dirtying the door knob, or after you wash your hands possibly getting them dirty if the door was touched by the former style, but not getting it any worse.

That was a joke about how the original DS had a power button right above the D-Pad, which for people with larger hands is often misspressed despite the half second hold time. That or people make the mistake of pressing it instaid of start, like if the game is held upside down for strange game reasons or for fun, or just a quick "whoops wrong OH CRAP I TURNED IT OFF".

Clock: Tell me, do you see many people shelling out more money for each new i-Pod? What about each new Gameboy series color? This is just a new version of the DS with an i-Pod white color scheme, even smaller size(with same sized screens), and brightness control tossed in, along with a repositioned mic and the power button moved god knows where. Maybe they put it in one of those little glass cases you got to open, then turn a switch down for five seconds to turn it on/off, like in robot anime things.

Mind if I ask in what or where this battle is taking place? Is it a Pokemon battle with Mario named Pokemon, or maybe something I'm missing in the sim battle forum, or some other kind of roleplay type dealie? Can't wait for the next comic, but don't get yourself sicker over it, health is more importaint!

Technically, for many/most video game anime series I've seen/heard of, the voices in the japanese version are the same as the ones in the games. I think Kirby is the same, though Air Ride had no voices at all so they may be trying to get rid of voices in the games, but a small part of SSB/M was it's first voices for characters like Ness and the like.

The last hit for the seventh boss was kind of annoying, and the "Final Zone" boss is a pain, but besides that I didn't have insane amounts of trouble. Special Stage 7 however...

Wait wait wait, who said the game was coming out this year? The game is a huge project, and they got started on it "late", which of course was worth it to get Masahiro Sakurai leading it again. I highly doubt it will be a launch title sadly, unless they get a huge boost ahead by doing something such as using the SSBM code base...
