Accordiing to the FAQ on the site you just posted, the "unlicensed" simply lacks a copyright notice on the title screen. Absence of copyright notice does not mean absence of copyright though.
You should really just distribute the patch. On another completely different note the hack itself looks pretty nice anyway! |

You should be impressed seeing how horribly creepy that was. Next time, run away like hell from the house.

My first time through Silent Hill 1 was pretty much a big "what the hell?!" moment from start to end seeing how weird/surprising the game was.

Yeah, but linking the stuff on Acmlm's board is just a no-no.

I'l have to agree about Culex too, even though I didn't find him very hard to beat (more than Smithy, but then he wasn't very hard to beat). And I must concur with Surlent, the bonus boss of Illusion of Gaia is a toughie the first time around.
This reminds me that I superfail regularly against Elidibs in Final Fantasy Tactics. Hardest bonus boss IMO. |

I hadn't seen it under that angle bio.
Do you happen to have screenshots of that same mario on less bluesy backrounds? |

My! What a difference that made! Yeah, it's looking good that way. Keep up the good work.
A question: will the frog costume change trigger when you are small Mario or just when you are big Mario? (edited by Hawksun on 04-12-06 05:41 PM) |

You could also go old-school and play the Ultima/Might and Magic/Wizardry series, even though the latest ones aren't that great.

I played SMRPG way too much and I don't really care about Mario Sunshine. So it's tie between Paper Mario and Yoshi Cookie for me (you could probably use the dual screen of the DS for nice puzzles in Yoshi Cookie)
Seeing that pretty much every decent and good mario game under the sun has been re-released, I don't know what else I could want. |

Seems to be a board bug. Should be cleaned up sometime in the near future I believe.

I played Eugene in Grease back in High School... and that sums it up.

I'm in no hurry for that, it kinda breaks the monotony.

SMB: Lakitu
SMW: Fishin' boo SMW 2: Nep-Enut, Fuzzies Other than that, enemies may be hard, but no as annoying as these, in my opinion. |

Earthbound IS my favorite game, period, whatever the platform and/or genre it is, and will probably for a long time be my #1 game. Quirky story, nice character design, good music and the list goes on and on. it also rocks that this game has a dedicatng ROMhacking community.

First problem: When I open one of the editors, every name/text part and sprite is just garbage (i.e. er4 J! e;; d or similar for text)
Second problem: About 20 seconds after I open the program it just crashes, says it encountered an internal problem and asks if i want to send a report to Microsoft( of course not) I used version 6.3 and 6.31 of the editor, with and without the DLLs provided on Lord J's website(for testing purposes) and almost every version of the FF3 rom ( FF3 (U) v 1.0 and 1.1, FFVI (J) and the likes) I went to a crapload of websites and discussion boards and it doesn't seem to be documented. So, do I have to use an older version, another editor, or is there a way to repair these bugs? |

At the risk of sounding really dumb, how do I give my ROM headers?

Thanks both for your help DB and Xen but I finally solved the problem by finding a ROM with the headers intact.
Thanks a lot though! |

I don't really have an opinion on personalities in general (that's like judging the very roots of someone, isn't it?).
But I'd say that I prefer to hang out with girls that are girly rather than tomboys, not that I have a problem with them (some of them are very nice girls after all). On a side note, I don't recall playing video games being part of what is considered a tomboyish attitude, wouldn't that be better termed "geek"? (I just love geeky girls) |

He probably got his body taken over by the soul of Fredric Wertham who decided from the afterlife to take a stab at modern fun things (in this case, video games) believing he could cause as much damage as he did while being alive.

While I think this is far from being Google's greatest move ever, I'd put more of the blame on China than on Google. Since a company/corporation/whatever (in this case, Google) needs to make a profit I think it was understandable that it sought to expand it's user base even though it meant complying with rigorous anti-freedom of speech censorship laws. As for the point about chinese government knowing how great google is: while the government may know how great it is, do the chinese PEOPLE even know how great it can/could be? It's not like China is letting a lot of information come to the masses from the outside world (or even sometimes China itself). The People's Republic of China should change it's legislation (or it's whole government) rather than Google changing it's business practices. [/Rant] |
