Just a poem I made for English class last year....

Don't know what Mighty Taco is? Wikipedia is your friend

WARNING: This poem bashes Taco Hell Bell quite a lot, so if you don't have the guts to read this, please go away. Otherwise, read on....

Oh, Mighty Taco, How I love you so
There's just no better place to go
You are so much better than Taco Bell
A place I consider just like hell

Mightys to El Ninos, everything is a must
It leaves the competition in the dust
You guys never stop, never take a nap
Unlike those guys with that stupid Crunchwrap

Gorditas, Chalupas, keep them away
'Cause Taco Bell, I wouldn't pay
'Cause Mighty Taco, It just can't be beat
What happened to the Chihuahua, did you use him for meat?

Taco Bell, you're going down
'Cause Mighty's the best taco place in town
And I guess it's time for me to tell
Mighty's the only taco that rings my bell!

Well, until a Mighty Taco pops up in North Jersey, I'll be content with my Taco Bell .

I don't want to take this poem too seriously and give you any sort of grave critique of it, but I thought I might just make a quick remark or two. Line 4 is awkwardly phrased - it's a consequence of the rhythm of the poem, I know, but you might be able to rework it in some way to make it sound better. Line 6 sounds like it has too few syllables to me. Same with Line 13.

Overall though, it's clever. Some good turns of phrase and witty lines, even if it's just a quick, light poem. The last line is especially fun, I think.
